Just as Peter Obi professes his Catholicism for political expediency, we ask him to summon the moral courage and explain to Catholic faithful his relationship with the Olumba Olumba Obu (OOO) Cult sect where his wife is a known member. It is also on record that Peter Obi met the wife at a night club in Auchi . The lady had two children from two different men -an Albino and a Ghanaian. Obi should explain to Ndi Anambra what happened to the state local government allocations and why Anambra under Obi is the only state in Nigeria without elected local government officers in place? NIGERIANS AND RELIGION! When you hear MUSLIM-MUSLIM TICKET noise from some of Nigerians, you would think those people are religious in the real sense of it. But, it is just a distracting factor put before us not to be able to develop as a country! I have lived successfully in the two commercial hubs of two different CONTINENTS (Asia and Europe) since I left Nigeria few years ago. 1. When I was living in UAE, Dubai to be precise, I met many Nigerians who are many christians and few Muslims. Infact, over 75% of Nigerian christians living in UAE are from South-East and Southwest and they DON'T have opportunity to go to church on Sundays because that day is the first day of the week according to UAE system until little changes recently. 2. Here in the UK, it is just 1% of over 150,000 Nigerian christians who fled Nigeria in search of better life that are going to church ONE Sunday in a MONTH because employers pay between £15 to £22 per hour on Sundays to encourage people to work and many citizens themselves don't believe in wasting hours in church but rather pray on their BEDS in the morning. 3. Each time Saudi government comes to recruit medical practitioners from Nigeria, CHRISTIANS usually dominate the list of successful employees and they know that there is no church to be attending there on Sundays! If I may ask, are those christians willingly relocating to those countries because they have MUSLIM - CHRISTIAN leaders? Obviously No, they are going there because those countries provide better living condition and economic prosperity!! I am sure there is a reason why the government wanted the building demolished, but in our country where the destructive population have more time for Social media than the constructive population, many Will believe that this building was demolished to oppress Christians. I am surprised that the persons complaining did not display the ministry’s certificate or at least the letter from the university authorities conveying an approval for such a building and with given engineering design and structure. |

Dear Ohaneze Ndigbo, I, Chigozirim Emeakayi come to you all again with my little advice and opinion. We cannot get the Presidency by issuing threats of division and secession against Nigeria. We cannot be President in the same Country we hate so much and seek to Destr�y. We cannot be aspiring to be President of Nigeria when other tribes are not safe in our zone. We cannot be aspiring to be President when all we do is promote division, support corruption, elevate Prejudice and cause ethnic violence. I have one question; please what will be the campaign Statement of an Igbo Presidential Candidate when he goes to the North to campaign? Politics s not buying and selling. every Political Party are ignoring Southeast because we are bad market as far as Politics is concerned. We Must take a stand and join the queue of Nigerian Politics. We Must build Bridges and not destroy them. We Must embrace other tribes and not K!ll them. We Must preach Peace and not support violence. We Must defend Nigeria and not destroy Her. Anyiamaka:I agree with your analysis, all of it except that SE indigenes are still considered unreliable and hateful. No one would consider having a secessionist as President or even as VP. Atiku has to be careful in choosing a running mate. The marginalized North East is working (through Atiku) , towards clinching the Presidential position. According to BBC and Daily Nigerian, Harira Jibril was the name of the pregnant woman killed at Isulo, Anambra State over the weekend. As seen in the viral video, she was shot dead together with her four daughters who were aged 9, 7, 5 and 2! IPOB barbarians have the mind that can shoot toddlers and even the unborn, since they are Hausa/Fulani Muslims from the north. Devoid of all polemics, we are actually not supposed to spend energy over the graveyard silence from Southern media influencers. Southern elites also don’t think this is something so serious to talk about. Not Oby Ezekwesili, nor Professor Wole Soyinka who doesn’t think Professor Maqari deserves to continue being an imām. How about the presidential hopeful, Peter Obi? This barbarism happened in the same Anambra State where Peter Obi was once a governor. Obi is contesting for presidency in 2023. He was yesterday tweeting about his visit to No 10 Downing Street, but not the misfortune that befell Harira and her kids in his home state! Look at his gesture over this, and tell me how he would be the better president who an average northerner should vote for. Peter Obi doesn’t think IPOB is something he should condemn. But I am not really surprised over all these. In fact, it is surprising that people are surprised! I would have been terribly shocked if this set of people expressed deep worry over this misfortune. The lack of concern has never failed to manifest. It has always been visible to the blind and audible to the deaf. But let’s give them a break! It’s not their struggle. So, there should be a limit to which we castigate their conspiracy of silence. If they put in their energy like they did on Deborah’s, then that will be truly selfless. Let’s look home. I am yet to read a message from the Sultanate of Sokoto. What is the message from Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI)? What of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA)? What of presidential hopeful Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, whose aide was fired over posting on Facebook on Deborah without due approval? These are the first quarters of silence that we should be asking why the silence. Then the so-called Arewa intellectuals, whose mighty pens have not spared any perceived misconduct coming from the region. They are not influential on Twitter, agreed; but they are strong on Facebook. The pens shouldn’t suddenly dry up when your home records a big casualty like this. We can bash southern figures as much as we want over their graveyard silence on this matter. However, we should know that they have a higher social intelligence than their northern counterparts. Politician to politician; writer to writer; ethnic champion to ethnic champion. Southern figures stand up for theirs in the event of victimization up Muslim North. This is called brotherhood, and it is a good social trait! Northern figures barely stand up for theirs in the event of victimization down Christian South.
