When we hurt, God is in us and hurts with us. He is not in the things that hurt us but in us with us.
We can say 'God can bring good out if evil, but cannot say God brings about the evil in the hope of producing good. NO.
Why do men consider God insensitive to their pain and suffering, but refuse to remember the pain and suffering men caused Christ?

BENEFITS OF SUFFRING TO A CHRISTIAN

*** Suffering is good because, those who suffer have no exagerated sense of their own self importance, and no need of privacy.

*** Suffering humbles the proud

*** Suffering helps us distinguish between necessities and luxuries.

*** Suffering teaches patience, deep patience which acknowledges the need tondeoend on God alone.
***Suffering teaches the difference between valid fears and exagerated fears.

To those who suffer, the gospel sounds line like Good news, not like a threat. It's offers hope and comfort.

Dear Christian, if you are going through suffering or pain right now, don't worry, it's because your faith and confession will end up more dependant on God and when you come out, you will be celebrated.

WHY CHRISTIANS ALSO SUFFER PT 3

If a human father determines to remove pain or anything that can bring pain to his daughter (you know how fathers love their daughters) by never allowing her to take steps lest she falls, never allows the girl to do anything for herself, overtime, such a child will become an invalid, totally dependent on her father. Such a father will end up failing his daughter, by failing to nurture an independent human being into responsible adult.
God is our Father, a responsible father who wants the best for us, he allows us walk even when he knows we could stumble and fall. He allows us to stand on our own in the midst of suffering, without the benefit of soothing answers like Job.
He wants us to be solid in faith. He wants us to have Job's kind of Faith. Faith like Job's cannot be shaken, because it is as a result of haven been shaken.
God, as a loving father chooses to stand before us arms extended, while he asks us to walk to Him in Love and trust.
A Christian's death is seen as a godly death, not a bad thing, it's a crown, an achievement, the climax of a good life lived on earth. Men may see it as bad, but it's not.
The important issue facing Christians who suffer shd not be 'is someone responsible for this or, is God punishing me to teach me something?'. But, It shd be 'How should I react now that this terrible thing has happened?'

In suffering, the cause shd not be our focus, our response shd.
We shd take it as an assignment to know how to respond when in pain. Like Job, we shd trust God to bring us out of the suffering.
Job said 'Those who suffer he delivers in their suffering, he speaks to them in their afflictions .

PART 2: THE FREEDOM TO LOVE GOD IN PAIN AND SUFFERING
It is all about the freedom to love God in pain and suffering.
Some people projects the image of a perfect and fair world in their minds. That is a world which everyone truly does get what they deserves.
In this perfect fair world morality would work operate accordingly to fixed laws, just like the laws of nature. Punishment for wring doing would work like physical pain.
If you touch a hot flame, you get punished instantly with a pain warning you to stop.

A fair world will punish sin swiftly and surely. When someone extends their hand to steal, he gets an electric shock. When you tell a lie a tooth falls from your mouth
Whenever you do wrong immediately punishment is meted out to you. So, also if you do good or obey the laws, you get instant rewards. This kind of world will be Just and consistent and everyone will know what God expects from them. But, this is not the kind of world YHWH intended for His children.
God wants humans to give love freely and for us to also Him love freely. If the World was to run as a Just and consistent perfect World, everyone will be forced to keep inline, and love does not work with force.
If the world runs according to fixed perfect rules, there would be no true Love and true freedom. We would act rightly because of our own immediate gain, and selfish motives would love God because of a programmed inborn hunger, not because of our own deliberate choice in the face of attractive alternatives. But, as Christians and children of God, we should choose God and His easy inspite of sickness, poverty, failure, persecution, pain, suffering and death, which are the impulses that urges us to do otherwise.
In a relationship, Love and acceptance shd run freely, not choased. YHWH is the Lord and Master, the King of the earth and also depicts Himself as the husband of the Church. Thus, if the World were constructed so that every good deed earns a reward and every sin earns a punishment, the parallel World will not hold. The relationship will be controlled. The bride (The Church or Christians) will be a kept woman who is pampered and bribed so that her lover can be sure of her faithfulness. No. God does not keep His people locked up.
God loves us and gives Himself to us and waits for our free and voluntary response. God wants us to choose to love or reject Him freely, even when the choice involves pain and suffering, because we are committed to Him, not to our own God feelings and reward.
He wants every Christian to cleave to Him as Job did.

WHY DO CHRISTIANS ALSO SUFFER?
JOB AS A CASE STUDY.

I would like to put every believer in Christ going through any tribulations or any kind of suffering in the place of Job, so when I mention Job, please take it as any Christian.

The Trails of Job as we all know stemmed from a debate in heaven over a question "Are Humans truly Free?
In the first two chapters of Job, we saw satan reveal himself as a great humanist or a behaviorist. He claimed that Faith in God is merely a product of environment and circumstances.
As Christians are always told that they are Christians as a result of their environment.

Satan said Job was conditioned to Love God. He challenged God to take away the positive rewards and watch Job's faith crumble.

Satan's accusation is the reason Christians although devout also suffer.

That accusation is the reason Christians are allowed to be afflicted like every other person. This is to allow believers love God for God and not becos they are hedge and are protected all around.

Satan's accusation 'You' have put a hedge around him' stands as an attack on God's character. Satan tried to implies that God is not worthy of man's love in Himself without gifts. He implies that faithful Christians like Job are faithful because they are bribed by God to stay faithful.

He said it didn't matter whether or not there's God afterall everyone including believers in God (Jesus) are suffering and are affected by the hardships in the world. Why shd he believe in God who can noy stop pain and suffering.

Almost synonymous to the Yoruba Sango god and Igbo Amadioha god in their use of thunder, thick smoke and lightening.
The way the Ark of the covenant killed anyone that gets in touch with it.

I remember when under my own understanding as I had just read Rebecca's Brown book — He set the Captives free — the book was quite scary, even scarier than what I had read then on this thread a few years before, so I concluded that Baby Christians like myself shouldn't read the book until after a while that they're matured in Christ.

I thought it a fine suggestion then but then people here came at me and said for them, they looked at the book from a different perspective, seeing a woman who worked for the devil but now for God and triumphed over him despite his numerous attacks.

Charles's rebuke was most biting as he literally told me to shut up about things I do not know about.

Rather than respond to him, I left the thread for a while and during that time, I read and updated myself, and naturally, things changed as well as my perspective to spiritual warfare. Ever since, I have been hungry for books of God concerning that subject.

My point is, I didn't rebuke Charles for his crude words at me, I didn't lash back or start a back and forth with him or others who had pointed out my errors, whether crudely or diplomatic. Instead, I sort to find why a man of God would lash out like that and after a few years, I finally understood my errors and returned back to the thread.

So in our walk in Christ, we grow everyday and learn new things. There's no shame in being corrected and rebuked if you say the wrong things or behave in ways not befitting of a Christian.

The Lady who had been the captive of Satan in that book, while she had just been saved but her flesh was still dominant, lashed at the devil when he came to visit her and cursed him, but the devil just grinned at her as he was in human form and pointed out that Christians do not use swear words .

That message stuck to my head and I have noticed that whenever I begin the process of backsliding, one of the first things I notice is that I begin to use swear words and talk like the typical unsaved or lukewarm Nigerian Christian.

Now, this might not be the same Experience for everyone but if we're still fighting the flesh in one way or multiple ways as we grow in Christ, there's no shame in getting corrected no matter how long we have been born again or being in our walk in Christ.

An experience of this nature took place in pages back concerning a very devoted brother who once posted regularly here. He didn't agree with some of Charles's teachings and an argument ensured, there was back and forth. This brother didn't get his way, and then began to troll this very thread. Amazing, what this spirit of pride can do. He was later taken care of and has since left the thread. What's wrong is wrong and should be corrected no matter who is involved. There's no hypocrisy in Christ; none at all.

Yesterday, she called those who corrected her "spineless cowards" and is now seeking glory over nothing as a front to cover her bad behavior.

As I have said, I have known for years, and really like her regardless of her behavior, as she once said she attends my church, albeit in a different state.

I have ignored her shortcomings because of that but not anymore. As for me, I will never engage her again if she comes directly at me but I will ignore her posts even if they might offer value until I am certain she has put down this proud spirit that has been with her for years and now unfortunately, become a part of her.
