Praying unclad is very effective and potent. David did it in the Bible when he danced naked before God (2nd Samuel 6:14). If we read the entire chapter 6 of 2nd Samuel, it can be seen that David dancing naked was a form of prayer, he was intreating and worshipping God. We all know what happened to Michal, when she mocked him for dancing naked. I can recall how I had a problem in the past, I was overwhelmed, sad, I felt lost. I was on fast and prayed on bare floor unclad. I prayed asking God for an answer within a month. To my shock there was a knock on the door, towards evening time, I opened the door, and the answer to my prayer was there. Nothing on this earth would have warrant the answer to my prayer coming at that time, but there it was. It was so funny and unbelievable. The second time I did it, the answer to my prayer came at the appropriate time. It is very effective tho I don't do it frequently. Anas09 you may give it a try.

Oh. My mind never went to David's dance as being connected to praying at mid nights naked.

Dearest sister, David never set out to give YHWH a naked dance by consciously and willingly taking off his clothes. He had his clothes on, it was the rigor of his dance that loosen his apparels and they fell off.

And, it wasn't in the middle of the night. David had just made a sacrifice to God and in praise, he danced.

Satan shd not make us do things, as that will translate as fear. And, as the mountain surrounds Jerusalem so has He surrounded us. He said he will give Egypt ans Ethiopia as a handsome for us. He said it is his pleasure t recompense evil to those who troubles us. Do we believe these? If we do, then why are we terrified when Satan's agents do what they do? Who is in charge of this earth? Satan or God?
No matter how frenzied satan is getting rousing his agents to increase their evil on earth, they remain defeated when it comes to the redeemed.

I am very glad that it works for you, but I'd rather stick to rising very early like the Lord did to pray with or without my cloths on (depending on how I went to bed). Satan no fit threaten me to do things especially what I can't find in the Bible.

What I do is mid-night praise (The one Paul and Silas did) and this also works.

JWs do have such experiences/ gifts, but they ignore it. They don't groom it. In my town, we have a great man of God. He was formerly in JW, then he began having encounters with God. He left JW and opened his ministry. I used to have lots of JW friends, they do have dreams and other spiritual experiences, but they disregard it, they don't see the need to develop it. Also, not all JWs disbelieve things of the spirit, some of them go for fellowships in other churches to seek spiritual help.

Do you set the clock when praying? or is it an accumulation of different praying hours daily, thereby making it sum up to 4-16hours?

I asked this question because I'm wondering how someone will kneel, lie, stand or walk around praying maybe from 6am-10pm daily. O what a special Grace from the throne of God's Grace!

Please give me proper highlights on prayer that I may enter such grace you are in by the help and comfort of the Holy Spirit through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Once I have prayed for 20hrs at stretch too. Not a daily thing tho. But we pray for long stretch of hours.

You know, pride is the hardest sin to spot, and when it is spotted, it's very difficult to tell a proud person that he is proud. Proud people do not like being told that they are proud. So people just flow along but despise him behind his back.

Sycophants wld rather cheer the proud person up to remain in his good books and not upset him. It takes courage to stand up and tell a proud person that he is proud. If he has any sense, after being upset, he shd examine himself is its true or not.

There's a difference between judgement, condemnation and rebuking one in the spirit of love, for the Bible says perfect love casts out fear.
Most times we use this scriptures to justify our ungodly actions.

I'm not saying that's what you're doing, but it's necessary for us to know the difference between judgement, condemnation and rebuke.

Sir. I want to apologize to you if I came off as over talkative to you and in your thread. Again. I am sorry.

But, I know Jesusjnr and he knows me. The other moniker I saw for the first time yesterday. She has heard about me maybe from Jesusjnr and decides to fight me without a cause. I don't fight, I am here to spread the word of God not fight.

The only reason I go after Jesusjnr is because of the way this forum is. This place is a battle ground, a breeding ground for satan. a recruit ground where Satanists in all forms are after the souls of the young and feable Christians, attacking the gospel, making mockery of the Church and we see that manifesting as young believers gets discouraged and turn away blaming God for how hard times are for them. I ve seen that over ans over here.

Most of them are gone now. So when Jesusjnr came here with the kind of heresies he preacbes, we, I in particular rose up against him. We cannot afford somwone who calls himself a Christian preaching damning error the way he does. Go through his thread sir, you'd see what I mean.

Frosbel and Jor4Christ. These were not just passive guys. There were as active as Jesusjnr is now. (Frosbel knows me. I do to him what I do to Jesusjnr).

They were doing exactly what be is doing. They opened threads and preached their versions of Christianity. They called out Satanists. Insulted atheists. Only to get up suddenly and said they had discovered that Jesus was fake and religion a scam.

Their conversion to atheism caused a lot of young Christianz here to be layed back in their faith. After that we watched how kids here became Atheists. They went into atheists sites uploaded discouraging Things and posted them here.

Frosbel was so loud mouthed just like Jesusjnr. He was very popular as Christian here. And I sense that this is what Jesusjnr is trying to do. Just imagine how he jumped at you when you came in because he knows you are new here. He is looking for popularity.

I see Jesusjnr toeing that line of Frosbel so I told him I will go after him in case he turns up tomorrow to say he is no longer a Christian, people will know that he was never one in the first place.

How can a Christian open his mouth to say the Church is dead?

There's no place in scriptures where the Bible instructs us to pray unclad, however some people believe it works for them.

When some demonic agents want to lay curses on people and they want it to be potent, they wake up at midnight unclad and place the curses, so I think that's why some Christians also pray unclad at midnight to reverse it.


Some people love to sleep unclad and pray that way in the midnight.

However it's not Biblical, but I don't condemn their actions, neither do I approve of it.

Anything that's not in line with the scriptures shouldn't be encouraged.

What will you say abt d Bible passage that states: the living are conscious that they will die, but the dead are conscious of nothing .

If you read that scripture within context, you'd discover that what the Bible is saying is a dead corpse being conscious of earthly happenings.

When you die and your soul leaves your body, you get disconnected from what transpires in the land of the living. You will never be part of the life here. But, you wld be conscious and see yourself just like it happens in your dreams.

If you step on fire in your dream, do you feel hurt or not? If someone hit you with a stick, wld you fell the pain or not? So, do you have consciousness in your dream realm or not?

While you are laying sleeping, are you conscious of what is happening around you? Do you get involved in discussions and decision making at that point? No.

So also with death.

Learn to read the Bible word for word. Look for the content and flow the context. Scriptures interpret others, they don't make sense if you use them in isolation.

If you go to this thread 'Seeing Angels, Demons and supernatural Beings' here on Nairaland. If you read from the beginning, you wld find insightful discussions in it. One of the discussions was about Rebecca Brown. So many people were into her, captivated by her books. For me, that was the first time I was hearing of her, so I went on Net to know more about her as some people said she was good, some said she wasn't. While researching and reading about her, I stumbled on her blog. She ran a blog back then, but she pulled it down later.

I followed that blog before it was pulled down. This woman was so against Apostle Paul to a very serious extent. I didn't know why a Christian wld be against Apst Paul.

I was really surprised because that was my first time of reading from a Christian who wld say Apst Paul was AntiChrist. I went on to read reviews of 'He came to set the Captives free'. I discovered that the reason she pulled down her blog was because the characters she portrayed in that book were actually her and her husband. That She was indeed Elaine.

Someone who knew her in her school days and her first work place as Elaine before she and her husband changed their names, and moved to another state, revealed her true Identity, that caused a lot of fuss that led to her pulling down her blog.

I don't know if she raised it up again later, never went back to check.

So, when I say be careful, it's not becos I have some sort of interest.

I went for surgery, and almost went from there. God brought me back. It wasn't time for me to go.

See bro, I was passing through a hard time, my pastor called me to do it and it changed my life. I don't know why it worked, It's nothing satanic. My pastor, he has an ori oke, the one yoruba people call mountain. A lot of people come there to pray, all they do is pray. Praying at midnight alone is one of the powerful forces of connecting more to your source. Every where is calm and very peaceful. I meditate most at midnight because of its calmness. I am not forcing you to pray naked, I don't know why but anytime I need something and I do it something magical happens. All I do is pray for like 30-40 mins.
