Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?

For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified.

I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:

Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.

In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.

Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?

But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:

And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.

Now this is where those of the church have gotten it so wrong, for they think they are wiser than the Holy Spirit, and could do a better job than Him, with respect to drawing those of the world to God their Creator, by using the things(understanding) of the flesh that the world already has.

But the consequent results of such a disorientation as shown by today's church in comparison with that one, already confirms the saying of Jesus that the flesh profits nothing.

And i'm just going to use an instance of what happened when tongues were first spoken in the church to expose the gross error in this teaching of Apostle Paul and it goes:

Acts 2:13 (KJV)

Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

So can you see how erroneous it is for someone to use the yardstick of the understanding of the flesh to judge the tongues that are uttered by the Spirit of God?

For Jesus said:

Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. John 14:17 (KJV)

So what has the world mocking or calling those of the church who are not of the world mad, got to do with determining the importance of the utterances which the Holy Spirit gives to those of the church?

For clearly, as was the case when tongues were first spoken in the church, they were mocked by those of the world.

But imagine that those of that church had observed this teaching of Paul and not spoken in tongues because they were worried about whether the world who are ignorant of the Holy Spirit would mock them because of it, it would have prevented the Holy Spirit from showing the extent of His capacity on that occasion via spoken tongues.

But thank God that they of the first church knew better than Paul concerning this, and it was to their own benefit, as regardless of the consequent mockery by those of the world, the Holy Spirit had His way via spoken tongues, as while they were yet inside speaking it, He went outside by Himself to personally invite the world to the church.

So that's the extent of what the church stands to lose when they limit the capacity of the Holy Spirit, by using the understanding of the flesh as a criteria to qualify or disqualify the things of the Spirit such as spoken tongues!

How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.

But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

Thank God that the first church was already in full swing before Paul gave this instruction concerning spoken tongues, for Paul was not even a part of it then.

So they didn't even have the option of keeping it, as today's church do, and with the benefit of hindsight, it was better for that church that they didn't have it.

For not just that they didn't need it, but imagine that they had it and hence had kept silence in the church as Paul had instructed and not spoken in tongues as the Spirit of God gave them utterances because they didn't have any interpreter or didn't understand what He was saying, that remarkable result that was achieved by tongue speaking may never have happened.

But even though it is here today it doesn't mean that it should be observed even though it is in the Bible, for what transpired in the first church's first experience of speaking in tongues should supercede any thing that Apostle Paul teaches in that respect, for there's nothing that his teaching on tongues could accomplish that could surpass that, that's if it could even match it at all, which I strongly doubt.

So my conclusion on the matter of tongues is that the church and her leaders should follow the example of speaking in tongues by the first church, and not the instructions of Paul, for I believe that if they follow the instructions of Paul concerning speaking in tongues that they would never be able to achieve what the first church achieved via speaking in tongues.

In other words let the Spirit of God have His way.

Let spiritually brain dead fool be showing an example of how not to be a demon possessed christian, Lol!

For someone that had known hard mirror all the while and did nothing, but it's only when I was trying to speak some spiritual sense into hard mirror life that he'd remember that he was a true christian and bring his full vessel of scum uninvited to display.

And when I gave him the reaction that his unwarranted attitude deserved, he'd start crying foul, calling me gay that I had falling in love with hard mirror and telling me I should stop masturbating on hard mirror, that I should stop patronizing the damn etc., as if I ever asked him for lessons on how to lose my spiritual potency and only be good at populating Satan's kingdom despite being in Christ's church.

But wouldn't stop there but be roaming all over the place like a cursed vagabond, on a demonic mission to assassinate my character and spreading the malicious lie that michellekabod1 was my alterego just to rubbish the credibility of your conversion from atheism, and hence my role in that.

Then when he finally gets to know the truth that what he has been proudly disseminating all the while was only but a figment of his imagination, instead of feeling guilty that he had done wrong, and at least apologizing to you for wrongfully bringing you into his issues with jesusjnr, he immediately started to play another demonic tune that you converted to jesusjnr version of christianity, Lol!

Imagine how dumb he should sound after saying that, but it's just a shame that his jesusjnr obsession has made him to lose the ability to feel ashamed of himself.

Now the liar by trade that couldn't humble himself to admit his catastrophic blunder of such a demonic lie, is now trying to teach people how to detect who is a true christian is or isn't, and a christian who's demon possessed?

Well even looking at a mirror wouldn't even solve his case, for he would yet deny his face!

Thanks.

MISTAKE No. 7 Correction

Now just as several other sayings or teachings of Apostle Paul, this concerning the spirit of the prophets with respect to the church is a teaching exclusive to Paul, for at the time, the only spirit associated with the church was the Spirit of God.

For after departure of Jesus, it was the Spirit of God that was said to have been sent to take His place and represent Him as the comforter, guide, teacher etc., of the church.

And the Holy Spirit was so important to the church that He was said to be the reason Jesus had to leave His church and the Earth behind.

John 16:7 (KJV)

7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

And Jesus also gave this instruction to His church to show how essential the Spirit of God was to the church being able to carry out it purpose and the task which they had been saddled with:

Luke 24:47-49 (KJV)

47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48 And ye are witnesses of these things.
49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

Acts 1:8 (KJV)

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

So it was the Spirit of God that was going give the church the power to carry out the task given to it to bear witness unto the Truth, hence the need for the church to wait for Him before proceeding with the task.

And He did on the day of Pentecost as I have already shown in the previous correction, as the Spirit of God was the one that first drew the attention of the world to the church via the the utterances he gave to them of tongues. (Acts 2)

Therefore it was the Spirit of God that was in charge and had full control of the church at the beginning, so where did the idea of Paul that "the spirit of the prophets is subject to the prophets" with respect to the church come from?

For the Spirit of God was not the spirit of the prophets, therefore He was not subject to the prophets but to God.

And even the prophets themselves in the church ought to be subject to the Spirit of God who was in charge of the church and by whom the church was led.

So how much more their spirits which was subject to them?

Therefore this saying of Paul has proven itself to be one of his biggest and most influential mistakes of his teachings considering how important the Spirit of God was to the church, for despite that it was intended to bring order and decency to the church according to him, it has ended up stifling and ordering the Spirit of God out of the church.

For the Spirit of God cannot be subject to man, neither could He struggle with men for control over the church, since the men of the church have to submit themselves to His control for Him to be able do His job and express Himself to the extent He is able to do.

So it's either Him in charge of the church or man, and since the church had chosen the spirit of the prophets which was subject to the prophets, as they usually say in observation of this error of Paul's teachings, the church has what the church asked for, even the spirit of the prophets instead of the Spirit of God which it needs.

And though Paul tried to used the idea of God not being the author of confusion to justify this gross error, what he seemed not to realize was that confusion in the sight of men, could be orderliness in the sight of God, for the ways of God are very opposed to the ways of men.

For what transpired when the Holy Spirit first came upon those of the church where men were speaking in different tongues at the same time as the Spirit of God gave utterance would be seen as confusion and disorderliness in the sight of men, for some men were said to have mocked those of the church to be drunk to describe how chaotic the scenario was.(Acts 2:13)

But because the church was not subject to the order of men but to order of the Spirit of God, who was allowed to have His way and to fully express Himself, the confusion and disorderliness in the sight of men led to the salvation of thousands, as the Spirit of God was able to draw the world to the church by Himself, even before the church had left the building to begin to bear witness to the world. (Acts 2)

So that can only happen when the church is not subject to the spirit of the prophets but to the Spirit of God, for the difference could be illustrated by the result of that church which was subject to the Spirit of God and this church which is subject to the spirit of the prophets.

Therefore today's church cannot expect to produce the same results when it doesn't let the Spirit of God which was sent to help the church, to have His way in the church as that church did.

And something happened in a church gathering related to this, where the Spirit of God was having His way, but in other to bring man's idea of order to the place, the saying of Paul "the spirit of the prophets is subject to the prophets" was immediately applied.

And I heard the Spirit of God say to me, "that's how they chased Me out of the church."

And it really made sense, for the same Spirit of God that came upon the church at the beginning was still here on Earth, so why is the result different with the church?

It is because this church would not allow the spirit of God to have His way as that church did.

So if the church truly wants the Spirit of God to perform to the extent of His capacity as He did when He first came upon the church, there no other way but for the church to fully subject itself to the Spirit of God and let Him have His way, just as the church at the beginning did.

For it's only then they could get to see the Holy Spirit do what He knows how best to do, which is to draw the world to the Truth.

You need to understand the bible well before u speak. There is the human spirit and there is the Spirit of God.The spirit Paul was referring to was the human spirit, and u need to understand the context he was speaking.Don't just take a verse and isolate it.The Corinthians Church were behaving disorderly, because when they receive from the Spirit of God,many of them were trying to speak at the same time thereby causing confusion and what was suppose to bless them was causing problem. So Paul told them that God is not the author of confusion, that they should speak one by one. Moreover, their human spirit is subject to their control.,it was not the Holy Spirit he was talking about. It is the human spirit that u use to receive from the Spirit of God first. When u receive a word from God, how do u receive? is it not by ur spirit. Can u decide to share it or not? Is ur spirit not under ur control ? So get the context.Paul was referring to the human spirit, the one he referred to in 1 Cor 2:12, Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God;that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.Don't yield to the teachings of demons, purge ur thinking.Do u know much Jesus is jealous abt his church, why would God permit error to be part of the scriptures. Paul was a man tested and trusted by God,someone filled with the same holy spirit DAT u claimed told u it was an error. If Paul, that is publicly approved of God and set as an apostle, could be wrong(according to u),how much more u.Let us be humble. The bible says knowledge puffs up....And if any man think that he knoweth any thing,he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Knowledge indeed puffs off...
bayodaniel:

So what has that got to do with the newly ordained, installed, anointed Apostle of correction?

His Holiness most Senior Superintendent, Doctor, Pastor, Prophet Junior Jesus all protocols duly observed!
Who is CORRECTING the inspired word of God in order to lead us to a better place than where Apostle Paul who made so much mistakes that counted up to seven as in SEVEN!

Don't you know how many people would have been misled by this Apostle's mistakes?

Please leave Jehovah's Witnesses matter out of this for now because Jehovah's Witnesses only insist on whatever the Bible says. They may go for thorough research to discover how it was penned down or what exactly was the inspired writer trying to say, but they're not as intelligent as in they no get liver to CORRECT the original writers! cheesy

For your information, this is the time to revise the Bible and correct all those mistakes of Apostle Paul, courtesy Junior Jesus!

So start cramming, writing or typing now because we're about to make another Bible that has NO mistakes, therefore any other INSPIRED corrector is welcomed in the house so that we can also get the corrections of other ancient inspired writers like Moses and co. Mistake No. 8 of Apostle Paul's teachings coming soon!

Go on CORRECTING the works of the WORD of God! wink

If Jehovah's Witnesses are ready to educate you, you'll be arguing blindly and arrogantly over nothing.

For your information Sir,

Everything written in the Bible was inspired by JEHOVAH God himself. But he never connected the writers directly, it's Jesus who stands as the transmitter of all inspired words between JEHOVAH and every other intelligent creature be it human or spirit, that's why he is called the WORD of God! John 1:1

So if all these inspired expressions found in the Bible passed through the office of Jesus Christ before getting to you, what you're now saying INDIRECLY is that Jesus is not capable of his job as the WORD of God! 2Peter 1:21

That's why after the completion of the whole information and screening everything to ascertain that it was well documented, Jesus the AMEN said 'don't add, don't subtract' Revelations 22:18-19

President told you the bitter truth but you useless arrogance wouldn't allow you to reason for a second that the devil has entered you! Matthew 16:21-23

So get it into your stinking skull that nobody as in NOBODY is authorized to correct what Jesus {the WORD of God} has confirmed!
