One of the difficult aspects of this job for authors is proof READING your book. When you have finished writing a good book, captivating description, moderate category and so on how do you proof read your book?

Even with softwares like Grammarly Premium, Paper rater, Ginger, etc., the softwares sometimes fail and mistakes ABOUND. They may fail to pick up small mistakes that they should have picked up. Even if you have the dollars to fund those accounts for those Grammer checkers, they can still fail you.

However, for a beginner, getting the money to pay about #30, 000 per month for a software like grammerly is a daunting challenge. The simple thing to do is to get a natural voice reader. Then paste your text in the software. It will read it for you. Then you will listen as the software reads. It will read it plus your errors. Once it reads a mistake, pause. Go back to your word document and correct. That is simple and easy. Do it until you finish your entire document.

Hey people, i have been following this thread for about a month now. I am done writing my book, but my problem is formatting to epub or the kindle format. I really need guidance on this please. And yea, i started reading from the beginning of this thread but i am still confused. And yea i know of a software calibre which is used for conversion but i dont know how good it is or anyone that has used it and i do not want to use my work for experiment

Epub keh. For at your book, upload as word or Html or Zip. Dont make this work hard for yourself. Easy, simple does it.

If you want to view the book as a buyer, you can't because Nigerian IP cant make purchases on Amazon for Kindle ebook. However, you can install epic browser on your pc or VPN Master on your android. Use it to go to Amazon and you will be free to see the book as a buyer.

Write on what is selling. You know this by doing research on Amazon. Know what people are buying every day. Check the bestseller. As you develop a steady income base, then you can move to your area of passion such as war and whatever you want. The reason for thissound wisdom so that your courage does not die out when you take your time and write on your core passion, and you made no sales.

The is no minimum and there is no maximum. I have seen a book of 13 pages and it is selling very well. If you provide solutions to the problems of people, they will buy your book even if it is 5 pages. However, caution is required. That does it mean to write worthless things and upload to Amazon. In fact, as a matter of principle, the more pages you have, the more your buyers are convinced that you have some quality to offer them.

Sorry for the late reply. Simply download this Do PDF 8. In your Microsoft Word, go to file. Then select file, then print. Then select the option Do PDF 8. Then click print. Make sure that the you check the box embed fonts and high quality print. Then print it. I hope this helps.

Both is owned by Amazon. It is just that you can't have two paper backs at the same time. Once you published on createspace, you can't do it through your kdp account.


But you make more when you published your book through Kdp. You get more percent.

Bros, why not go and open a Payoneer account
. Then use your routing number and account for bank deposit. You will avoid all these problems. I believe Cheque takes a longer time to arrive. Contact customer care and hear what they have to say.

Hello, use a a pen name. Because Oyinbo will readily buy book from one of them than from some they don't know. But you can also use your Nigerian name. I got to know revelry that once you have a quality content to offer, no body cares from where you come from. Overall, use a pen name.

If your books are not selling, chances are that keywords could be the problem. Go to your book Amazon KDP account. Log in to your dashboard. On the right hand side, you will see promote and advertise. Click on the small dotted arrows there after promote and advertise and then click on edit my book content. Once that is done, then change it to your well researched keywords. Let the keywords also be in your description too. And then in your title.

I don't know who started this photobook story on nairaland. As far as I know (from personal research), photo books don't sell. I'm yet to see someone who made any money with them.
Sorry for the effort you put into those books. Just forget about them, go and research better niches and publish books that will sell.

No niche that doesn't sell. I will urge you to begin with diet for the time being and in understand the market. Before you go into your chosen niche. This trial is important so that if you don't immediately see sales with a niche that you believe is your perfect category, you won't get discouraged. Arrangement. Tithe page combine with disclaimer page. Then introduction, then table of contents. You are good to go. Font size is 12 or 13. I hope this helps.

How many words make a page should not border you. Just keep writing until your page is filled then your cursor take you to the next page. The minimum size of font is 12. Depending on the size of your book, if you have a book of 12, 000 words or 13,00 words, use font size 13 or 14. But if you have a book of 25,000 words, then make it font 12.

Know this, whatever you have in Word, let us say 25 pages in Microsoft Word, it will give you 50 pages in Kindle. So. Kindle will double your page count from what you have in Word. I hope this helps. God bless you.
