Combine your keyword research by checking new releases, customer also bought and then short reads. It will help.

Green Niches

Getting a green niche will make you hammer more than you can imagine and it starts from some daily actions that you take.

1. Always check your new releases. Here you can have an eye on books that are coming into the store and some of them that will become bestsellers. If the book is selling well with Good ranking and the author isn't a celebrity author, he uses organic sells and not ads, that keyword is a killer. Jump in as quickly as you can.

2. Customers also bought. Check it. An also bought can you lead you to great keywords. Click the also bought and check the other also bought.

3. KINDLE short reads. This will help you uncover great and astonishing keywords. Just go to Google and type Kindle bestseller short reads. Click on 30 minutes then check each category. You will be surprised by what you will find there.

4. Spend more time researching for keywords than writing. A good keyword for a book is better than 10 books with poor keywords.

Write your version and use keywords. Check if the author of the book is a celebrity author or not. Read the reviews of the book and check to see if there are complains of customers. Ensure that that in your book, you cover those complains. Unsaturated niches are always the best to write on.

5 Things you wished you Knew About KDP

1. DON'T start until you have enough info about the business. Read this thread from page one to the end, and all your questions will be answered.
2. Get a mentor. There is no self-made person anywhere. People learn from others. Even if it was Google, someone put it there.
3. Write and keep Writing. More good books, more sales. The more you write, the more sales you will make. If you are lazy, KPD isn't for you.
4. Do keyword research O. Keyword is like book address for kdp. Get a good keyword and one book, can make you $500.

5. Good Cover, Description and Killing title. If possible, go to YouTube and learn content writing. It will help you.

PLEASE, DON'T GIVE UP.

Book is not selling. I know. But keep writing. It will shock you one day. Believe me, some of us have been through that.

Am feeling so discouraged about this Kdp Publishing. I am still wondering whether those making it big are telling us the truth... I make between 10$-20$ every month for the past 3 month.. I have just 3books and this is my 5th months..
Also am beginning to believe that those gurus that says that their sales are organic sales are lying to us. How come u are making up to $1,000 to $3,000 just with organic sales.. they should tell us the truth.. I know some will come here and tell me that I should do keyword research.!!!..
My next plan is to venture into email listing and AMS.. am seeing it has if am still very young to start that.. I want to get the organic sales first before I venture into such.

i don't think its about copywriting. The site is straight forward, they have a huge reader base (writtenwordmedia,com) and you pay them to advertise your book on their webpage on a selected day(s). I did that and the the money spent didn't yield expected result. I have always been a firm believer of organic sales and having an email list. For me, AMS and other paid adverts/marketing requires indepth understanding, else one will just be throwing money away. Its 20th August and my wife's new account isn't doing badly. Considering the fact that its all pure organic sales. (image attached). If i must do ams or paid advert, i am willing to learn from people with better experience and indebt knowledge of how it works and i am ready to pay for the service.

Congratulations for all your strides sir. More Sales to your account and to Madam too. It has been long O. I have been busy with a lot of things.

Amen. But beyond prayer, work also. This business requires consistency to succeed. If a book didn't sell, move to the next and continue. If you are hardworking and committed, in 6 months, you can make up to $1k.

d2d is not that profitable compare to kdp oo from my own experience although I don't have many books on d2d am even thinking of pulling them out for more page reads on kindle unlimited

Please I have a challenge with formatting my ebook. I've linked the table of contents to the various pages, but my challenge is organizing it on Kindle.

Your body text should be left align. Use font size be 12 or 14 depending on the number of pages that you have. Google it please.

I've put my everything into it.

Don't hesitate to to respond if you think there's something wrong with this strategy based on your personal experience.

Check the prices of books in your niche to determine your own price. If they are selling at 5.99 and you out yours at 10.99, you won't make sales. Finally, I heard you said you put in everything into that book. Don't carry that type of mindset. It kills like wildfire. Some of the books you put in the best of the best might not even sale. While those with just little effort can change your financial story. So, take it calm and do your best.
