HealthObamacare Microchip RFID Myth Debunked by AndreOgara(op): 9:20pm On Mar 24, 2013
Having Adele's hit track 'Rumour has It' play in the background of this article would have been great but I will get down to business either way. Rumors making the rounds for some time now as we all know is that by 23rd of March 2013, everyone in the United States will be required to have a chip implanted in either the forehead or hand. As disturbing as this rumor is, I had to ask myself, 'Has man's quest for hope made him become so gullible?' I didn't wait until today to write this because I wanted to wait it out and see if it'd turn out to be true. I didn't because I thought it was a big joke not worth looking into. I was right however.
So how did this rumor start? This rumor was started even before the Obama HealthCare Bill was still in development. A scare tactic thought up by an unknown source to take advantage of people's lack of understanding of the bill to persuade people against it for their own gains. It is often linked to the 'Mark of the Beast' as referenced in the book of Revelations 13 : 16 - 18, warning that the government will ultimately require everyone to be implanted with a chip in order to buy and sell and in this case, receive health care.
So what's the defense against the overwhelming 'evidence'? Here's an excerpt from an article I found on one of the 'End Time' websites that I won't be mentioning their name for obvious reasons:

" ...that healthcare reform legislation passed by the U.S congress in 2010 would require this
sort of device be implanted in the majority of people who opt to become covered
by the public health care option"

First off, the referenced information was not part of the ObamaCare health care legislation actually enacted by the congress. Obamacare bill is numbered HR3962 and HR3590 and in none of the many pages was it mentioned that a device would be implanted into any one. In other words, even if a bill like that existed, it has nothing to do with Obama.

Now this isn't to say that there isn't fire where there is smoke. Indeed a bill numbered HR3200 which was never passed by congress did have elements from the cited information above. A replacement bill for HR3200 named HR 3590 was eventually passed as the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and all references about a device implant was jettisoned. It is important however, to note that nothing in any of these unpassed bills mandated anyone to be implanted with any type of micro-chip otherwise known as RFID-Based device, for any reason.

Common sense tells me that If anyone is going to get chips implanted in them, it would not be a government forced project instead, it will be voluntary. There isn't going to be a deadline! Like whose idea was that any way? That said, shoving and attaching enough importance and benefits to a chip will actually make people get implants. This isn't what Obama-Care would do fortunately.

P.S the pictures are that of a chip that measures glucose levels in diabetes patients. Don't read too much meaning into it.

It's a huge complex and people get to choose when to take their exams lol. I guess few others were littered across the building...
Yvete: Lolz. Where was everyone else? Seems like you enrolled in a hybrid class.

@ Prince: HCCS is not the cheapest. Its a well reputed CC and very diverse with over 20-something campuses plus distance Ed.

I agree. I had an exam yesterday for one of my courses that I take online and it was even more boring than listening to the actual lectures online. I was all alone in a huge lab! damn...
Yvete: Pretty good. Got one take home exam left - due midnight. Learned never to take an online class again (zero motivation plus boredom with slow monotonous professor videos) angry Hope you did alright.

GRE Takers don't fail to download the official prep software from their ETS website. It's free and gives you a clue of your strengths and weaknesses. Learn as many new words as you can, search Google for GRE current 3000 words and study them diligently. Print them out, take it with you anywhere you go and study even while in buses. The English/Verbal is way harder than the Maths/Quantitative section. Doing well there pays off well.

This is good news....Greetings nairalanders... It's been a busy spell for me this past weeks but it's good to be back where it all started. Please people, if you find a way to sponsor yourself over here to the United states, by all means please do that. There are literally thousands of available jobs for computer science students/Programmers, engineers too!!! So many vacancies left and right... You cannot fathom how desperate they are to get qualified people. This is an investment on your own part. Of course if you are here on this thread, I would assume that you are already making plans to come over. Don't listen to people that say there is money in Naija...that is true, but you know what is really really true? This place is a Diamond Mine. Wish you all good luck in your endeavors.

OMG Shoggie sorry I have been out of touch since yesterday. That's just plain crazy. I thought they said Abuja was the better of the two US consulates in Nigeria. Please keep calling them till this issue is sorted out. They also reply on twitter and facebook. You'll be surprised. Hit them on twiiter @USEmbassyAbuja or facebook http://www.facebook.com/usembassynigeria . You need to disturb them. Please remember that everything is working out together for Good. Nothing good comes easy they say. Hang in there and keep me posted on facebook.
shoggie: Yes, very first time!
I called them & one Nigerian guy called Lawrence told me that computer will not allow me to chose the emergency date until that wednesday but when
I scrutinized the email sent to me It was a contradiction to what he said because it reads "Your Emergency appointment request is valid until Jan 09 2013." So what can I do NOW?

please apply to other schools and if possible, get admitted there even if you don't intend going to those schools. People that I overheard yesterday at the embassy saying that they only applied to one school were turned down...then again, that might not be the reason but there can't be loop holes.

V.O: Okay, you're going to collect your visa on monday at Ikeja >>>>etc
Me: Thank you sir!!!
I was so excited i fell sideways to the protruding wall beside me and let out a huge sigh of relief. It was a surreal feeling. The crowd there understood and most of them laughed and congratulated me at the same time because I can honestly tell you that it wasn't a good day today for most people. I'd generalize and say that out of 10 applicants, 8 were denied. I sat in the front row seat next to the V.Os and their interviewees. I had the pleasure of eavesdropping into their conversations and boy shocked pressure got the better of most of them. Some guys in my humble opinion answered well but with stutter occasionally. Most of them surprisingly were not even smiling!!! at least I learnt from you guys that smiling is a must. People with poor English command got turned down except for a man that was going for some sort of poultry keeping convention. You'd be amazed how most of the young guys and chicks there couldn't string together a couple of correct sentences. Maybe there are other reasons completely different that's getting most people turned down today like not clearly remembering what they filled inside their DS-160 form online. By God's grace, I was able to do these few things well thanks to nairalanders:
Eye Contact, Smile, Heard correctly, answered articulately and straight to the point without stuttering. Again, prayer changes things. My interview looks pretty straightforward but it wasn't by any means. Please if you're going any time soon, make sure you remember clearly what you filled in your DS-160, SMILE, BE ARTICULATE AND WORK ON YOUR ANSWERS BEFORE HAND SO YOU DON'T STUTTER.
I'll be glad to provide further info if anyone so desires. God's grace and speed to you all.

usermane: yeah, thanks 4 d compliment. I 'd b sure 2 link up with u on facebook though i keep a low profile.
And for DS, i want to get it too. I hear its very scary. Hmm survival horror is one genre am really curious about. What i 've learnt recently is that resident evil is now more of action than horror considering Re5 & 6. Can't blame capcom as many gamers r more into action than horror.
I got RE2/3 but my Ps2/3 wont play them at all. Perhaps there could be remake for Re2 just like Re1 got it remake on gamecube.
GamingRe: Which Video Game Scared The Hell Out Of You. by AndreOgara(m): 10:28pm On Dec 27, 2012
I think you are talking about RE3. That's Jill Valentine of S.T.A.R.S and her survival journey out of racoon city. Do you remember a particular part where Nemesis suddenly jumps out of the window to ambush Jill while she was going downstairs? Now that's a hair-raiser moment!!!

*Kails*:
OH MAN!! DS is top of the LINE in the survival horror category!! grin
go for it man!! you won't be disappointed!

Of course I've played RE4 smiley
I don't know though, I just don't find the new gen. RE games to be scary. They are more action than scary. Now we talk about RE2, then hell yeah!! grin The first RE had me turning on ALL the lights in my house! grin grin And even then I'd get so scared esp. when Nemesis was coming to get me that I would literally throw the controller! grin grin

Dead space? That's a first. I think I will give it a try. Time to explore new territories. I have RE6 but have been unable to get it to work cos I haven't been able to unlock it but RE5 ωąs a slap in the face... It just has gorgeous graphics. I will try dead space and see if it beats RE4.

I honestly would like to know you man. I'm drooling over your articulate analysis. Just as no game would be able to match the horror and monstrosity of RE4, I doubt if any one can match your review of the game. You have even reminded ♍ε̲̣̣̣̥ places I forgot about totally. It's easy to see the flaw in some games' graphics once you start playing next gen console games but RE4 has remained relevant even with the recent release of RE5 and RE6. Fans of the franchise still hail RE4 as the best ever. The stages, the bosses, the weapons, (chicago typewriter), the characters (Ada wong is S̶̲̥̅Ơ̴̴̴̴̴̴͡ sexy) and the storyline are all frighteningly good! Hit ♍ε̲̣̣̣̥ up on facebook amigo.
