Education › Re: Education Minister Alausa Reverses 18-Year Age Limit For Admission by Angelfrost(m): 5:58pm On Nov 05, 2024

Yes that is true, but I know of some kids who entered university too early and did not make it. I also know of one guy who entered university at 15, was regarded as a genius and eventually broke down after some years.

Also most 15 year olds are not mature enough for university life. Let's not lie to ourselves.
You are very correct... That's why I concur on the area of Maturity in character and mental resilience.

A lot of parents just want their kids out of the house and will push them just to have the bragging rights that their wards became graduates at a very young age.

Still, the system should be properly designed to guide such very young kids, and protect them from pressures and negative influences.

Mind you, these same pressures can also pull down much older people.

nairalanda1:
Optimally 18 years is a good age to enter university

Some even say that 21 is better.

I said what I said. If you like, abuse me.

And if you like modify my comment

18-21 is best for university entrance.

Entering at 15 or 16 is just sending lamb to slaughter
That depends... Some 15 year olds are more mature than 18 year olds.

There really should be no need suppressing the genius of certain young people.

The part that should be given serious priority is the aspect of "Practical or Vocational Education".

This is what has been lacking for years now.

His political career is dead and buried.
Nigeria's current situation is beyond the political career of Atiku or anybody for that matter...!

This is a strategic appointment...!

INEC and Judiciary successfully positioned to deliver come 2027. cool

How exactly do you expect the government to go back after it has literally embezzled (and mismanaged the rest) the funds hat were saved from removal of subsidy, money(in addition to that saved from reducing government bloat) would have sensibly gone to implementing and sustaining Safety Net programs for the poor and disenfranchised? Where do you expect the government to get money to reinstate fuel subsidy of the kind that existed before the May 29th, 2023 debacle? At this point, why? undecided
Lol... People that borrow money to embezzle!

Sigh... The amount of funds stolen within PDP from Ibori down to the current rogue in that Delta state house will shock Satan himself.

States like Delta state are just lucky to hide under the financial crimes radar.

I seriously wonder how they have been doing it.

Maybe it's because they manage to do a couple of projects, and pay salaries.

Even this Elder Clark has eaten his fair share from the protracted era of lootocracy.

You Nigerians and Africans need to take mental illness and Addictions more seriously....!

That man clearly has a mental health issue with Sex Addiction and Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

He should be getting professional help, not unnecessary media trials and paparazzi... He certainly can't help or control himself.

As for the women... Nothing new or strange there.

Statistics show that many women in marriages desire more sexual adventures and gratification outside their homes, and most are more than prepared to risk it all to get them.

Una think say wearing a wedding ring suddenly makes men and women chaste! Lol...

Those days of pretending or faking faithfulness are over.

Marital Infidelity will continue to get worse as this generation continues to deteriorate in all ramifications.

So Milan and juve ain't proper teams grin.... its mid class Atalanta that's a top team.... all because u want to defend Osimhen, u decide to throw stupidity
Nope they aren't... And if you have been watching Serie A like some of us, you would know A.C Milan hasn't been in form for a while.

Juventus is on the up and coming.

Inter, Lazio, Atalanta, and Fiorentina are even more in form.

Not defending anybody, Chief, neither am I attacking you.

Just need you to quit making Napoli any more news than they need to be.

They win the title or not, no serious football fan really cares.

Victor Osimhen already achieved the impossible with them before they decided to disrespect and disregard him.

If they win the title, good for them... If they don't win it, good for them!

Everybody has moved on, including Osimhen.

Why are some Nigerians this dumb..... Napoli is still topping the league and arr favourites to win the league title... winning a battle is different from winning the war... why can't some shut up till the league is over and hope Napoli don't win it ... if Napoli ends up winning it, then they won the war... they will then say " 4k osimhen " and they still won it without him and Napoli made him and are still winning the league without him while he languishes is the retiree league
Go drink water and rest your head abeg!

Napoli faced a proper team for the first time and were found out!... More shocks await them later.

Season is just starting, and Inter aren't joking around.

Conte's team is not sound in the attack department... They haven't exactly improved since Osimhen left.

In any case, if they win the league, so what?!! That's not a big deal.

It doesn't change the fact or the mark Osimhen made there! He helped them win their first trophy after a very long time. He massively changed their fortunes.

...And abeg! Leave Naija out of it please. Nothing concern us with Napoli and Osimhen.

Neither club nor player is paying any of us anything... We aren't gaining anything from them.

I hate it when people just try to dampen threads or other people's moods for no real reason.

Don't mind him... Napoli faced their first real test and fumbled dismally.

Inter will likely overtake them to that title yet again.

Their team is not convincing attack-wise.
