A woman that doesn't want to be told what to do by a man has no business being married to a man..
Let her remain single and be a boss lady and let the ones with no issue being under a man enjoy their marriage..

Just condemn Domestic Violence, and leave all this needless talk...!

A real man should never beat up his wife! NEVER!

If a man can't earn respect from his wife, he should divorce her and stay single or marry the one that will submit to him.

Honestly, I wonder what kind of mentality a lot of you guys were taught...!

Marriage is not by force!

A woman is not a child or animal you need to mend or break!

kettykings:
Buhari would have managed the economy better than Tinubu. Tinubu knows little or nothing about the economy except how to use thugs to extract money from transport companies

Stop this please...!

Buhari buried the economy, and laid the firm foundation for anyone coming after him to fail woefully and carry the blame.

Not even the best brains in the universe could have performed any miracle after Buhari's treacherous 8 years.

A more intelligent and moral person might have done better than Tinubu, but it would still be a very long and tedious way back to the top.

The truth is, fuel Subsidy should have been removed as far back as 2012...!

This is why Tinubu can never be forgiven!

He helped hamper that smart and futuristic economic move, and went on to help install a generational fraud to bury the already ailing economy.

Part of the problem is the Corps leadership...and the other part of it is that governments over the past 3+ decades didn't consider road safety a priority. And because they didn't prioritize road safety, funding suffered and standards declined.

People will not believe there was a time in this country in the 1980s when the FRSC had patrol vehicles (not just Hilux pick trucks), bikes, radar guns, breathalyzers etc. and marshalls actually used this equipment to do their jobs.

In those days, FRSC peugeot station wagons were a common sight on federal highways, driving at exactly100km/h...and all other vehicles were expected to comply with the speed limit and maintain lane discipline. The patrol wagon would be at the head of a long line of impatient (but compliant!) drivers. You dare not overtake the wagon or you would get into serious trouble.

Sometimes, FRSC marshalls would wait at some obscure portion of the highway with their radar guns and set up their speed traps. If your vehicle was found to be travelling above the speed limit, you had no option but to quietly go pay your fine.

After years of appointing retired generals as FRSC Chairman, the Corps today is a shadow of what it once was. The patrol wagons, the radar guns, the motor bikes, breathalyzer kits etc. are all but gone completely. Targeted, effective mass campaigns such as the "Wear your seatbelt" campaign of the 90s (a campaign that forever changed the driving culture of this country) have vanished. It seems all the FRSC does these days is perform the grim task of giving press releases after some terrible accident has claimed several lives...with the cause usually listed as 'overspeeding'.

Nigeria. undecided

Wow! This is eye-opening... Thank you.

Sigh... Even the truck and trailer drivers are more reckless than Danfo bus drivers.

The day I saw a fully loaded petrol tanker overtaking at top speed was the day I knew most Nigerian drivers and road users have a death wish!

I ask yet again... What exactly is the use of FRSC?!!

They haven't shown they deserve to even be paid salaries or be in existence.

Okay... Have they also forced down prices of Fuel, taxes, electricity tariffs, etc?!!

No need trying to score cheap political points.

It's all cause and effect!

If the goods get to the markets at inexpensive costs, there is no way they would be sold at exorbitant amounts.

You can't demand that traders sell at a loss just to make the government look good.

After Joseph made life easy for the Israelites in Egypt, a pharoah that know not Joseph arose and tormented them.
Similarly, during Jonathan foreign rice sold at N8,000 but under this Nigerian pharoah's regime, Big Bull rice is now N80,000+
Dollar sold for N200, today it is N1,600.
Fuel sold for N97, today it sells for N1200 to N1300.
Electricity tariff is outrageous.
Higher education tuition is extremely expensive.
Super pack indomie was N40 to N50 in 2014, today it is N350 to N400.

God please send our Moses, this guy is terribly heartless, insensitive, clueless, cornfused, deceptive & divisive.

Well, your analogy is flawed...!

The Israelites didn't elect Pharaoh into office out of ethnic and religious sentiments.

So, no Moses is coming... Cos even if he were sent, many of you Nigerians will despise and even insult him.

Innocence there was referring to or meant for the children born out of wedlock to unprepared and irresponsible parents.

It is a logical opinion.

I mean , If these newborns did not choose the circumstances that they arrive on earth’s journey, then they should not be allowed to exist in circumstances that will make them suffer.

The challenge is, such a treatment might serve as incentives for irresponsibility by males and females. They will not be afraid of the consequences of their actions and will display indiscipline.

There must be some form of deterrent despite the care for these innocent children.

Asked to turn off my phone. Will come back and update.

Great points... That irresponsibility part might be an issue.

Foster parents in this economy?

Most people are struggling to feed themselves and would not welcome the idea of adding an extra mouth!

There are foster parents with more than enough resources to cater for up to 3 more kids...!

I also mentioned "Adoptive"... These are couples without kids who are interested and capable of taking care of kids born in such circumstances.

Unpopular opinion... Boys and girls shouldn't be compelled to take up parenthood.

Loving Foster or adoptive parents should be availed the privilege upon birthing of the innocent child.

There is really no sense destroying the lives and happiness of the young unprepared parents and the innocent kids.
