If it is a hodge-podge of talents then know that it will take extreme patience, the kind Arsenal gave Arteta to rid his team of Madrid like players such as the Ozils of the world in favour of his kind, the kind that play like Barcelona or Man.City, tiki-taka, false 9, short passing midgets like Saka and Odegaard.

Chelsea will have to go full Galactico and give him time to purge the team if they want Alonso to bring trophies. I look at that team and immediately see the kind of players that don't fit this philosophy but most Chelsea fans will not take theur ejection....

Time is not a luxury most big clubs can afford for coaches like Amorim and Alonso to build or instill philosophies and patterns.

If United, for instance, were like Arsenal, Amorim would be in his 3rd season by now, and who knows, his team might be doing some serious damage too.

Our roads are a death trap, not necessarily because they are bad, but because those that ply them are reckless with little to no knowledge of proper and safe vehicle handling and road use culture.

That bus above, for instance... You would be shocked at the high speed the driver was on even at unclear curves or bends.

Nigerian drivers are the main reason we constantly pray for "Journey mercies" even when our destination is within city limits.

I visited and lived abroad for over a year, and not once did I pray that prayer... It never even occurred to me to do so while there.

But as soon as I landed in Lagos, just the airport taxi back to my family, I suddenly started panicking and praying for safety... Even while on the Air Peace flight back to Abj days later.

Sigh... One would have thought that a state being governed by a man of the cloth would be far ahead in every aspect and sector.

There might truly be no hope for this nation if clergymen can become no different from corrupt politicians while in power.

The only way you can enjoy your marriage is e.g You're staying in Ibadan with your family, wife working in Ibadan and you working in Lagos. Meaning you're not staying together every night and day and weekends, that's when you both will miss and cherish each other.
