mdchikezie: Who is afraid of the Nigerian Youths Revolution?
Last night the Federal Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed was on the National Television, the NTA, ostensibly to educate Nigerians on what the Buhari government has done to pacify the EndSars Nigerian Youths protesters.
Maybe due to the weight of the subject or the scare most the government people have received since the protests started, Mr. Lai Mohammed, looked pale and sickly. He was beside himself without his usual gift of sophistry. And he, of course, laboured hard to do justice to the topic.
I was not convinced in the least. I do not know about you.
During the course of the programme, Alhaji Lai kept repeating the fact that the government had granted all the requests of the protesters and yet they have refused to leave the streets and allow for a free flow of human and vehicular traffic.
He even went as far using the unfortunate incident at Osun State involving Governor Gboyega Oyetola as a case study that the protests have been hijacked by what he called, " the enemies of the country". And he, like other highly placed Nigerians and the beneficiaries of the lopsided system Nigeria operates, is frantically looking for the the sponsors of the EndSars Movement.
In a note of resignation, Lai Mohammed who eventually occupied a major portion of today's Radio Nigerian news with his preachment on the futility of continuing with the protests, asked, "What do the protesters want?"
I will answer him right away.
Mr. Lai Mohammed, Nigerian Youths are tired of the system that has made Nigerians fugitives, refugees, and victims of government insensitivity, in their own country. And there are thousands of reasons for such a protest to go on and on.
While the problem did not start with the Buhari government but an objective analysis of his administration will reveal a sinister plot of the gradual *Northernization* of the Nigerian Federation.
Never in the history of this country has a President been this insensitive to the plight of Nigerians. Nor is there any comparison in our history of the kind of ethnic agenda the Buhari government is a champion of.

Buhari has *captured* Nigeria for his people.
What Othman Danfodio could not do with his sword. What Ahmadu Bello failed to achieve despite his aristocratic posturing. What IBB never contemplated even with his guile. What Abacha never thought of with his brashness and devil may care attitude.
*But Buhari has done it.*
And will someone inform Mr. Lai Mohammed that none of the federations that were structured the way Nigeria is now ever lived to tell their stories?
Nigerian Youths want besides a holistic *Police Reform*,
*Judicial Reform* *A People's Constitution* *Electoral Reform* *Civil Service Reform* *Access to opportunities* *End to Quota System* *Reduction in the Cost of Governance* *Health Sector Reform* *Education Sector Reform* *End to the State of Origin Requirement* *Transparency in Government business,* among others.
If President Buhari cannot guarantee the fulfilment of these demands in record time, then let him resign and go home.
In the meantime, *Let the Protests go on. Nigeria belongs to the Youths!*
*GoldFacts...the truth as it is*

donestk: Scenarios of Nigeria's disintegration
Phase 1. People protest
Phase 2. Government repress protesters. Soldiers fire live ammunition into crowds killing protesters.
Phase 3. Mob retaliate and burn down government and political leader assets.
Phase 4. Army and police withdraw due to international pressure to guard their own barracks only.
Phase 5. Mob go after assets and houses of prominent political leaders. Politicians flee abroad with their families.
Phase 6. Mob go after assets and lives of middle class or anyone that has semblance of wealth. Estates housing the middle classes are attacked. Remember no more police or army to protect them.
Phase 7. Full scale war as opportunists with group interests and egos to live up to take over. Competing interests and internecine wars end up tearing the country apart.
Phase 8. Refugees flee the country in thousands to become beggars in neighboring countries
Phase 9. This is not 1960s- external forces will not quell the fighting. The internal wars will be a continuous recurring decimation. With no uniting force ( no military or police or politicians)- Libya scenario. If that will return the country to normalcy, so be it, Nigeria, as it currently stands is not working, it is a failed state after the order of Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, South Sudan and Libya |

Jorgenvava: Thank God DJ Switch has finally made a video about what happened that night. For those who didn't watch it, she mentioned two forces; the Nigerian army and the police force. The Nigerian army came first, and when they left, the police force (SARS) continued. Perhaps, reason why there was an increase in the death toll and why the army also denies it.
Now, you may be wondering why DJ Switch and others took the bodies to the soldiers. Let me tell you what happened.
According to Brigadier General Francis Omata, who was alleged as the person who gave his soldiers, the command to kill unarmed protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate, he didn't do it.
Francis said he was not the one who gave the order. It was Lt. Col S.O Bello of the 65 Battalion Bonny Camp.
Why his name is being spread about is because when he heard the plot, he rushed to the scene 39 minutes later to pull back his boys.
He had to announce his name to prevent them from shooting him. This was how people got his name and thought he led them. Here is the link below to read this information:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.withinnigeria.com/2020/10/21/brigadier-francis-omata-clears-the-air-on-lekkimassacre-names-officer-who-led-the-operation/amp/
Yes, the Nigerian Army under the command of LT. Col S.O Bello, gave the command to kill unarmed protesters. Who sent Bello?
Now, the reason why DJ Switch trusted the army enough to lay the bodies at their feet was because of Omata. She thought she could trust him, since he came to stop his boys. So for those wondering, I hope you have your answers.
Now, in her statement, she said the SARS police came later. You know they are still disgruntled about their dissolution and took out their anger on the protesters. They've been killing before, it's not a new thing.
The bulk of the killing, the probable 63 dead youths were killed by SARS, the same people this protest is all about.
And...
They are silencing people from speaking the truth.
I found this out when someone made a post of one of the victims and how he was killed. When I got back to check the post, I didn't see it. I asked the lady, she said they told her to take it down.
Who are they?
Now, let's look at a time line of event since the Lekki Massacre:
Sanwo-Olu wrote;
"This is the toughest night of our lives as forces beyond our direct control have moved to make dark notes in our history, but we will face it and come out stronger." This was by 7:43 10/20/20.
Meanwhile the shooting continued until the next morning. Forces beyond our Governors control stopped him from directing the ones under his control to stop the shooting.
We also heard the military was looking for the survivors of the shooting to kill them off.
This was after Sanwo-Olu wrote,
"There are currently 10 patients at the Gen. Hospital, 11 at Reddington, and 4 at Vedic; with mild to moderate levels of injuries while 2 are receiving intensive medical care."
I believe he made this statement as a means of informing the military where the survivors are since making phone calls might leave trails when investigations begin.
Reno Omokri tweeted on 17th,
"I just got privilege information that there is division in the military about how to handle EndSARS protesters, with Burutai pushing for a Shiite scenario, similarly to the Zaria massacre."
This was on 17th October, 2020. The Lekki massacre happened 20th October, 2020 with the military and SARS hiding dead bodies so they can easily twist the story.
Do you know what these guys are doing?
They want to discredit the Lekki story and they are winning!
These people maimed the Nigerian Youths that went out to protest for a better life, they killed them, and threatened their family to keep quiet.
They are monsters! Very Sad and pathetic, may the blood of the innocent shed by the military hunt them and their lineage forever. NIGERIA is a failed state after the order of Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, South Sudan and Libya |

omanzo02: Unfortunately, Nigeria houses will have to do with burglary proof for the next 30 years or more, The security situation is too precarious to take the risk without one. Until Nigeria embrace community policing, restructured and equipped police service, prosperous economic climate, massive personal and public job creation, good educational system, better public utilities and most importantly mentality therapy etc, the security situation will never change.
The quality of glasses we have in Nigeria are also poor, in the pictures most of the glasses are treated and don't charter with one bang, the street, public transport, private compound are littered with security cameras that makes it easy to trace and identify suspect of burglar incident, fire and theft insurance is also security that ensure victims are compensated for their damages or property lost.
Yes, it's liberating and gives sense of freedom to live in a house without burglary, no dark curtain to shield indoor.
Sometimes we install burglary proof in soft target in the house, especially backdoors or hidden entrances. I agree with your post |

EgunMogaji2: Back in the USA I had a different idea of what living in Nigeria was all about. I’m wiser now. I think.
I have direct experiences.
Thief: A close neighbor said it took about a minute and a half for the thief to be inside his bedroom via the window with burglary. There are various types and sizes of metal used for burglary. There’s hollow and there’s solid. There’re small size and big size. In my humble opinion if you’re not using solid in big size then it’s a waste of money.
Fire: I’ve watched two houses burn to the ground here in Ibadan. Fire trucks eventually arrived but well after the damage has been done. If anyone was home they’ll have died from the noxious fumes. I don’t think our government tests building and furnishings for release of dangerous fumes in the houses.
I have burglary in my BQ. I’m not sure if I’ll have burglary on my main house.
I reall with that Nigeria would adopt liberal gun laws like we have a n the USA. I also wish that we have a Castle Doctrine.
What I have now is a staggered level of increasingly high levels of defense.
Level 1: High fence topped with razor wife. A casual thief will move to a softer target but a determined one will simply cut and slide them to one side.
Level 2: My Dobermans. I was all giddy as they grew up into terrifying defense animals but saddened to hear of dogs being jazzed to sleep during robberies.
Level 3: Burglary at the windows and allegedly armored entry door. Well I now know the burglary bars are a wishful item and sledgehammers made quick work of a similar door. Also folks have said homeowners end up opening doors for the thieves anyway.
Level 4: Safe room. If all else fails the. It’s to hide in the safe room. It’s hidden but they’ll eventually find it.
Level 5: Last resort is the scorched earth defense. My lips are sealed. Welcome to the real Nigeria, even with the scorched earth defense, defense pass defense, Na baba God hand we dey for Nigeria oo, I was in lagos when Funsho Williams was murdered, with all the security apparatus, police, his personal jazz, otumokpo, private guards in and around his house, killers were able to breach his security, tie him and killed him, Although, it was attributed to political killing but how they were able to get to his bedroom with all his securities is a wonder of the century, anytime l visit Nigeria, l don't sleep in any of my houses, I go very discreet, hide inside Zuma Rock daily, meet family members and friends, finish my business and disappear like a ghost, the insecurity in Nigeria get as E be ooo
