Not true... Theyll invite u for aptitude test if you meet d requirements.. If u pass d test u will b called for an interview.
What counts is how rugged u re. Will u end up tying wrapper n nursing or ull sit up after nursing to hussle like ur mates.. What counts is ur determination.
Remember u ve ur NYSC Yr to get pregnant n gv birth.. After which u can hussle like ur mates. I have friends who did this successfully.

Thanks for the advice and encouragement.
Jobs/Vacancies / Are Married Women Hardly Employed In Most Companies? by AngelJennifer: 4:46pm On Oct 28, 2014
I was having a gist with my course mates on the issue of getting married as a student and they discouraged me not to. According to them, most companies in Nigeria hardly employ married women because they believe they have losts of responsibilities. They said the best thing a lady can do is to graduate first, get a job before getting married, so as not to remain unemployed. How true is this?

Does working in a bank makes your sister an accountant. Are you sure she is not a cashier. Accountants work everywhere; accounting is the language of business.
Bank is one of those establishments that employs accountants to work for them.

ITbomb:
If you are very sure that the person you are dating is really serious about marrying you both in words and actions (seeing your parents and not just saying it), AND YOU ARE NOT A VIRGIN, I don't see any reason for you to keep hoarding the v .

I would answer this personally, I would never marry any girl I have not slept with and if necessary is already carrying my baby. These days when girls take all sort of chemicals as contraceptives and destroy their body then claim born again and prevent the husband from knowing the sad reality until after marriage is really scary.

Each man for himself though. Selah

I get it, but not all girls claim born again just because they have lived a slutish life before. Some actually started from childhood. And as regards the vaginity issue what if the girl was abused as a child, and despite that never had premarital sex, would you still insist. You know in some cases it is a thing of the conscience as regard to waiting till marriage. For instance watching nude scenes at times makes me feel guilty. So please dont judge eveyone based on the way some girls behave.

ITbomb: There is no satisfaction anywhere, if you ain't ready for sex avoid dating

Can i ask a question, i have been seeing if you are not ready for sex avoid relationship. What if you are old enough to get married, but do no want to have sex until marriage, should you stay off relationship as well.

Has anyone being abused amongst you? I truly feel sorry for ya but that doesn't exclude you, I mean have you met one of them? They've got issues with everything, not to talk of relationship.

Yeah I agree, once you've tasted that fruit, there's no going back.

Hmm. What if the person was abused as a child sexually, will you still insist. Or what will you suggest in such situation where a girl was abused, but decide to stay away from sex.

Adewunmi84: I know some university degree holder who graduated with cgpa below 2.5/ some who are still battling to know their CGPA in 400 level or below/ some who their scripts or marks are still missing will flood this thread and start spewing gibberish. The fact remains polytechnic students and graduates will never cease to remain the best in their field and I know that the government of this epileptic country will one day put a smile on the faces of polytechnic graduates and students.its a matter of time.I don't want to say much because I remember I taught a FUTA graduate where to locate start button on a keyboard in 2009 and also told a UNAAB graduate he cannot see a recycle bin on desktop CUG phone when I tricked him to find a deleted number on the phone which he searched for almost 45 minutes sweating. It is not a matter of professor or grammar..Its what you were taught and what you possess upstair..Back in UAC then,I worked with my ND and I trained at least 15 graduates on the use of excel, words, sage pastel,IDRS and so on.University graduates for that matter..Universities in Nigeria breed and produce semi-illiterares and idiots as graduates(imagine an OOU graduate of ILR asking a question"Am I ur children?"wink..Good night

Most of the computer programs/packages and keyboard shortcuts you stated here are the things i learnt in a computer school/business center after my SSCE. Even some JSS 3 students can do that. While waiting for admission i taught my aunt who is a lecturer some of this packages and keyboad commands. Does that make me better than her? It is not about being in a polytechnic or university. Moreso, knowing this few things does not make you a qualified graduate or better than those you taught, it is based on your experience.
