Hunnn am a graduate of food science (25 years ago) ....and I think food science is very good ( my opinion)

But to do PGD with food science as background studies you can only go for food related courses like microbiology, ( food industrial) or become a nutritionist, or a dietician... something food related
Psychologist does not have any relationship with dat except there is something food psychology maybe management for ppl with functional way of eating.( Do ur research)
But if there is nothing like dat then it's not possible

What they are saying is I should come through studies, applying for a degree, is that your stand too?

A degree at what age? If age is on ur side( below 23)..if not graduate first and go for PGD or masters after NYSC ( if u have not graduated)

My dear take it easy, just take a deep breath and sleep over the many advice you have been given

Anything that look to go or easy to be true naturally needs patience and caution, before a small favor will turn you to an international criminal or something worse

It could also be Help from God am not ruling it out , even at that it's important to tread cautiously

mr man you never ready travel you hear. Go and do express entry instead. One million is just a conservative estimate of the immigration consultant fees, there are still other fees to pay. If the so called man wants to help he knows what to do. The whole process is long and tiring. He has to prove he cant find someone in canada to employ too before government can approve the work permit LMIA.

I used them, they are in Alberta u can ask someone you know in Canada to check them out ( that was what I did before engaging there services)...they are not cheap o but they can deliver if it's not going to work they won't even take your job.

Hello everyone I’m about to start my visit visa process but I’ve been hearing Canada isn’t issuing tourist visa I didn’t do my due diligence before paying this agency their deposit she insists they’ve gotten for a few people but I’ve seen 3 people talk about this not issuing tourist visa . They are still issue tourist visa but processing time is 447 days about a year and half

Apply and wait until things improve after covid thingy

Am still expecting ooo, today makes 33 weeks, Nigeria work permit timeline have been reduced to 39 weeks. The webform I raise to Nairobi shows the application is still under “Active Review “ Let’s keep hope alive all will end in praise.

Why is Nigeria processing time different from all these countries. Kenya and Ghana is even faster. We need help!!! Kenya, Ghana, India (7 weeks processing time as at March 23rd) while Nigeria is 52 weeks.

Please have you heard anything about ur application from IRCC. Am on my week 20 and just tired of dis waiting this is really getting to me as a lot of things is attached to it.

Honestly, is only IRCC can answer this questions.

My files was transferred from Canadian VAC Abuja to Nairobi Kenya VAC maybe to fast track the work permit processing am on 29 weeks against 18 weeks timeline. Last webform response was processing is under “Active Review “. MPNP with valid job offer.

Pls have you heard from IRCC... about ur application just wondering maybe am the only one remaining

It's almost impossible

Yes
But it's employer specific that is back up with LMIA

Tha problem is that it a very cumbersome process and a lot of fraudulent guys have abuse the process

So is a process that should be fine with a lot of caution

Your medical must be valid at the time you enter canada. Ircc can extend the validity at their discretion.

Sometimes, ircc automatically extend medical validity for some people

I don't understand are you saying after visa approval ur IRCC medical request must still be valid at the point of entrance?

Because I know employer specific work permit holder who traveled one year after visa approval

I applied for SOWP June 2020
Medicals passed September 2020 ( Though I did it in March 2020)
Work permit approved December
I was just checking my CIC account and I saw a document status showing "your document is invalid" , despite having approved work permit and documents have not yet expired. Was planning of goin in few weeks time.
Please what is the meaning and implications invalid document in the document status? No mail was sent and no correspondent except the one that was sent to tell me my work permit was approved. Is there steps i should take?

Hunnn, is it LMIA route
Maybe one of the documents submitted is no longer valid due to expiration
Or it has pass it's validity
But I don't think it affects ur visa

And is ur employer still operating the business if it is employer specific LMIA

To clear the air you can write ur employer
And if it's spousal open work permit then
iraisee a web form about your enquiry

All is well, just Know if it's a big issue you would have received there mail it's just a misinterpretation on ur part

Please I need clarity on something.
So i submitted hubby's application last month. With the new timeline for 52wks i.e. 11 months, vis a vis the validity of a written authorization being 3 months, I am wondering if to send the email to IRCC for one or not? I have read in previous posts that the written authorization helps the SOWP application move faster as sometimes they dont even treat your file until the request comes in. But if that is approved for 3 months and SOWP hasnt come out by then (which most likely it wont have given this 52 weeks timeline), what happens then? The written authorization would then expire? Please advise on what to do. Apply for written authorization now or wait for a few more weeks?

One thing am sure of is that dis crazy processing time will soon change back to normal. Which was always around 16 weeks before

U need ur work permit to apply and that can only be issued at the point of entrance

Since ur class is online would u be allowed in for the work permit to be issued yet? Honestly I don't know that dynamics

But if it is possible that might be good so you can apply on time due to dis crazy processing time of 52 weeks

One thing am sure of is that it would soon go back to the usual 13 weeks because last month Ghana had that crazy processing time of 45 weeks and it just drop to 7 weeks all of a sudden and it has been stable since then

Just work around anything that would enable you apply as soon as possible

I submitted my application in Sept 2020 up to date nothing has been heard from them.
Before the submission processing time was 186 days, the STANDARD PROCESSING TIME has elapsed can I write them to know why they have not attended to my application or should I still wait.

Let's just pray everything goes back to normal because process time presently is about 338 days or over self

But I know that things will soon change and revert to the usual processing time

Since u did not apply with them you should be able to do that since it was PhD and it is likely you have grant or scholarship

Anyway I think you have to be in Canada to apply for them because some of the documents you need to attach ( study permit) to there application will be issued at the point of entrance.

Appointment letter? Is it to do biometric or what..if you are confused ask you agent to show you your application online or give you ur login password to check your application..since you paid for the service of an agent then it is ur right to ask for anything you are not clear about just be decent about the way you communicates with her / him ..hunnn if anything goes wrong it's you that will be rejected...worst case scenario ....I have seen agent mess up ppl to the level of a 5 year ban ...even when you have an agent (if need be ) still be on top of ur application it's ur right
