I have requested for multiple GCMS notes
I have sent mail to all the MP in my. Province,. Some even replied and wrote to IRCC on my behave but the truth is am still waiting

I have been waiting since 2021 December, just be patient your PPR is almost here
God will do it. I understand its not easy, but keeping busy and trying to remove ones mind from it can help a little

Apply for them when you arrive Canada if you use them as home tie while applying for study permit

Nobody can stop family unification when you arrive Canada but applying from here might not fly if you mentioned them in ur. Application as home tie but if you didn't mention any family as home tie then nothing stops u from applying for them immediately your stamped passport arrives

Sowp now has reduced to 36weeks from the update of yesterday 22nd feb while visit visa has reduced to 168days hopefully it will start coming down this way. Fingers crossed it will end in praise

Please I need your support/guidance on applying for Canadian Work Permit via Ghanian VFS.

I have an offer letter from a Canadian company but faced with a challenge of having to wait for 61 weeks to allow for the processing of TWP in Nigeria.

The company is not willing to wait for that long and I thought of applying through Ghana but don't know if there are some residency requirements I must meet.

I tried creating a TWP account online to start the application process but I don't know what to do to ensure the TWP is being processed via VFS-Ghana.

Please I need our help and guidance on this.

I am currently in Canada Sept 2021 intake, taking a 1 year PGD programme which will be completed on April 30th 2022 same day my visa expires, I'm applying for a second program 1+1.

My spouse applied for OWP since April 2021 but no PPR yet. I was told by a classmate that there is a 6 month's rule meaning if SP's current status is less than 6 month it will affect OWP visa application even tho he filed is application immediately i got my approval. What can i do, is this information true.

Ppl get SOWP easily .. Getting visa Approval is a product of Gods grace and at the discretion of the visa officer nobody can stop family unification except for low family ties to home country and financial inabilities ... The delay is due to backlog of visa application.

Hello gurus in the house,

Please I need your advice. I saw a sponsored ads on Facebook about Canada Jobs. It also captioned that the company will sponsor the visa. I picked the number and chatted on WhatsApp. I was asked to send my CV to their email and after 24hours, I was mailed that my qualifications met their requirements. I was offered job as a Drill Engineer for the Oil and gas company. I was later sent Temporary Residence Visa Form to fill as well as Labour Market Impact Assessment(LMIA) form and Job agreement letter(that have in it that I will be responsible for the biometrics fee while other cost till arrival will be handled by the company). I filled and signed where necessary and returned them with my International passport as requested.

After few days, I was mailed to send the LMIA , Visa Form and my International passport to the lagos embassy of Canada through the email they gave (lagos@vfsglobal.g-c.online, so as to book my biometrics. I did as instructed and after few hours, got a mail from the said lagos embassy mail that my documents have been reviewed and i should proceed to pay for my biometrics through the payment link supplied so I can be given date for the biometrics. The biometrics fee is $116 CAD and processing fee is $91 CAD, bringing total to $207 CAD which amounted to #66,549.89 or pay same into one CEDI SIGNAL ZENITH BANK account and send receipt to them.

I am confused as to being real or not which is the reason I seek your genuine and honest advice.

Runnnnn oooooo .... It is scam.... I applied for employer specific work permit.... And i started since 2019 .... With WES evaluated documents, IELTS.... And other ....and am still on it moreover they don't advertise jobs on Facebook its almost always on indeed or job Bank

Let me first start by saying e jor i didn't advise anybody we are all adults, i answered the persons question. nobody should hold me accountable for what happens to them.
However they are both temporary permit applications and dual intent is when you apply for 2 different classes of applications. they are both same class and you are expected to leave at the end of both of these applications.Finally me sef i did it waiting for a decision i will let you know how it goes when i get it. SOWP is reading 58 weeks to get a decision, i will not spend Christmas away from my spouse and waiting for IRCC to answer that SOWP will amount to that.

Maybe just maybe ...it will rapidly come down because i no some health care worker ( nurses ) who submitted application since February 2020 ....when they start attending to..... the application things will move fast rapidly

Let's keep praying and believing God because its only God who can bring us out if this dilemma...of serious backlog that TRV / PR application is

At least it looks like someone is trying to be truthful about processing time and not that fake and falsehood of the previous processing time..... making someone feel that something more than IRCC 'S incompetent is the problem

whats funny is that the open work permits they are attending to always have an attached application to it. i really have not seen any stand alone PPR yet. and that processing time when i saw it i realised just how rude IRCC is �. i done tiya

On checking processing time today i saw something unbelievable, a processing time of 87 weeks

But I think this is applicable to mostly closed work permit since they are already responding to Open work permit

Requested for 1st GCMS note in August received on the 30th of October in that GCMS note eligibility was blank, medical and criminality passed while my info sharing was still in progress

Second GCMS on the 27th of October yet to receive it

IRCC requested for consent letter and birth certificate for my son 19th of November ,sent same day

Eligibility review started for my son and I on the 19th of November

Sent all sorts of emails and enquiries contacted a couple of MPs (Kitchener and London Ontario sent enquiries to IRCC on our behalf too).The MP in London ,Ontario contacted IRCC for us in October and they came back to say they would finalize our application in January 2022 ,I said abi they were joking ni, well instead of getting mad at the messenger sebi na help he kuku do me. I took the response and processing time he mentioned to Jesus.

Before then, i requested for travel exemption for my son and I got an authorisation as per subject of the email in September 2021 for my son only. In the course of this application, i also renewed my Nigerian Passport because the one i applied with was meant to expire January 2022, after the renewal i updated it with a webform.

If your spouse has a Study TRV for now abeg apply ooooooooo ,i did and God did it for me and my son, he will do yours too.Waiting on God to come through was not easy, i was strong and weak at the same, seeing people share their testimonies here i did wonder when mine would land ,finally it has landed and i just want to say thank you to Abba Father.

I am writing this to encourage my peeps that are waiting because our peeps that shared their Sowp journey also encouraged me while I waited for mine. I would not say you should not worry cause arghh mo worry gan ni but try not to worry too much which I know is easier said than done and I prayed, I stopped praying and I continued praying again,God i prayedddddddddd .(KO FUNNY RARA)

School is better, and nobody can help you secure or guarantee visa approval except you want to fall victim of hisa fraud, study the process understand it first you will realize its not a cumbersome thing all you need is a dom account ATM card, laptop, a scanner and all the right documents, but anything fraudulent will only mess u up

Please my school MP seems to be wicked. I contacted him and he said my wife's sowp is still fresh (applied oct 11, medical passed already) that we should contact him back in May 2022. But now the timeline is at 51 weeks. Really losing it and want to drop this Ph.D.

But its not changing it
Its just that you will apply for open work permit from inside Canada...if u check there website you are actually eligibility for that...its just that you still have to wait ..... for your work permit to be approved before u can work.

it seems like more people are joining this thread and little to no one is leaving because IRCC is not prioritising stand alone SOWP at all. will it be possible for us to highlight our application dates? So we can have an understanding as to how far back this backlog is. i am thinking if we all send a webform at the-same time or email to the kenya office or anything else as a group to instead of all individually doing our own things because this is getting ridiculous.

I received my GCMS notes yesterday after submitting application in December 11, 2020....they have only done criminality check and info sharing, eligibility has not started and it looks as if a phisical visa officer has not even access it at, all i see is movement of file to different visa office,..i think at this point its beyond serious....it to organize corporate prayers o..... because in as much as we are losing sleep...and unhappy i don't think God is Happy with all this so is tine to call upon the one who is able to solve it as a body o

I couldn't hold my tears ...all this canny stress is because of the children and presently they are almost beyond the age where they can be called dependent
