I applied for SOWP 29th of last month and have passed medicals and have done biometrics as well. Please does my wife need to write IRCC this letter to hasten the application? Though I did the application myself from Nigeria. Thanks as I await your response.

My questions are :
1) After registry, how long can someone wait before applying for spousal application? For instance, let's say the registry was done in May, when can one commence the spousal application?

2) What fate does the couples have if both parents aren't present at the wedding? However, the friends of the couples will be on ground to take pictures and stand as witnesses.

3) Is doing only registry okay? Do the couples need to hold tradition wedding and maybe a party? Can only the registry certificate and pictures be enough ?

4) For a relationship of 7yrs (one of the couples travelled when the relationship was about 6months) and they've been in communication since then and everyone around them knows that they've been dating for about 7yrs, they have few photos evidence to prove that they've been in a relationship since 2014, what's the fate of the visa application? What's are the chances of the visa being denied?

5) How long does the visa processing take? It's 12months on CiC website. Is the 12months accurate ?

Please i would like to know how feasible this is.

Asides this affidavit, someone was saying I have to do another NIN and then take both to the immigration office to effect the change on my passport
To get NIN now is like gold not to talk of international passport.... I don't even know if I'm doing it afresh

Guys I was sent this today...how can I tackle the 3rd part as there is no way I can pay the full tuition and accommodation when I am not guaranteed an approval.

Yes is a closed work permit through a Canadian immigration consultancy.
But information from IRCC Is that processing application for non essential work is on the slow.
Is it true that I can not process study visa,unless I cancel work permit that is in processing since February 2020?

Please i would need a clarification on this.
I applied for Canadian temporary work permit last year. I received the LMIA in january
then i applied for work permit in febrary, 2020 and the the covid lock down came up .
Till now my permit is still in processing. I feel i cant wait any longer so i have decided to apply for study route. But
some one just told me that canadian embassy do not process two temporary visa at the same time.that
they normally work with the old application unless i have to cancel the work permit in processing already.
MY concern is that i dont the outcome of the previous work permit and i cant just sit and keep waiting not knowing when
covid will be opver.

pls kindly advise me on what to do.

I'm so sorry if this question has been handled before but please oblige me once again. I applied for spousal open work permit in February 2021 and at that time the processing time was 19 weeks but last week I checked, the processing time is 39 weeks. Which of the processing time should be applicable to me
