Watching actions movies has always been my thing right from time. As a kid, after watching those movies in the day, the real action film would starts at night in my dream.
As little as I was, the part that trilled me the most was when the actor throws a knife from a far distance and its moves accurately to the bosom of the enemy.
That part go me so well that I swore on my honor to master such craft and guess who suffered the consequences? our poor plantains and Bananas.

After school, I would team up with some notorious boys in our neighborhood. those ones that the devil have sent to come and finish me kpata kpata with corruption.
We would all head to the backyard quarreling and arguing who was going to take the first shot.
And for the next 2 to 3 hours, we would all be busy sending tons of pen-knives into those poor stems.
For two weeks our practices went on smooth and successful and we kept extending our steps as we progressed.
Then one cool evening when the equator and the latitude and all the geographical components that makes up a whirlwind decided it was time to visit number 35 Tabanacle road, uyo, Akwa ibom state.
It was a Friday night, and the windstorm wasn't friendly at all. it actually made the night sweet, but little did I know that the morning would be bitter.

I woke up the next morning to an argument outside, I kept hearing:

Arh, what on earth is happening in this stupid compound, who is this person that is among and not among at the same time?
well, I didn't even bother because I knew I could never be among anything, even my class teacher told me that.
Why won't she when she has spend all her precious time teaching my big head so I could at least be among the first 5.
But No!, I always derive joy is taking the last position, I mean, who should I leave it for? I am saving those people from depression, You're welcome.
Two second, I was dragged out of the house like a criminal that stole fish in mile one. when I finally gain my balance and looked around, I saw my fellow babarians... F*ck that shit, e don be. I sigh.


We were all paraded to the backyard, lo and behold, all the plantains were bowing to us, what an humble creatures.
I was the first person to shout: "I did not"... before I could complete "do it", I received a triple impact slap from my dad. I was Dumb, Deaf and Partially Blind. Triple Action indeed!!!
The man that had a small mechanic workshop in front of our compound was the Chief Executioner, and my dad? Lol that one was the assistant Major General and one of my uncle that was staying with us was the Brigadier General.
That day was bloody, oh sorry, "TEARY", because our tears flowed like a river.
Have you heard of the weeping and gnashing of teeth the Bible talked about? Yeah, I think we were the one that inspired that portion of the Bible.

Even till date, anytime I hold a knife and I sight a plantain stem, I'm always tempted to throw the knife at it. but then I'll remember my dad's triple action slap, then I'll just walk and pass.
One would think it's maturity, lol... Maturity fire!

That awkward moment when your elbow mistakenly touch your barber's shakabula and you begin to wonder if the guy is an hausa man or nature just had a way of compensating him with a big cassava.
So there was this guy that used to chase my little cousin. I have seen them together like twice before and in each occasion they were always in a very close range despite the fact that the government have warned them about social distancing.

When she got home I tried asking her about the guy I saw her with and she wanted to deny maybe for fear that I might beat her up, but I just smiled and hugged her. I told her it's cool. I told her I'm not against her having male friends but i advised her to be careful if not for anything for corona virus.
She was shy, she thanked me and smiled like a sheep.
"Get out of my side joorh, be smiling like a goat, if you get belle na you go carry am no be me" I teased her.
Initially I used to like this guy o, he wasn't from a rich home or something, but I just loved how responsible he looked.

He dresses neat and had a very nice smile, so I thought within me, why not allow these love birds just have their fun.
So they started seeing each other once in a while and everything was cool.
The love I had for him even increased the more when I learnt he was a barber... free barbing mood activated!
I was impressed though, I mean such a young dude doing something reasonable for himself, so I started patronizing him.
But after I came back from his saloon one day after my elbow mistakenly touched him, I had a change of mind.
That faithful day he had turned the sit 360° round and bent over my side to pick a comb from the mirror's drawer and at that point my heart suddenly went into panic attack.

At first I thought it was the head of his belt but when I stylishly dropped my hand down to his thigh, I realised I was wrong and I had another panic attack.
He noticed it and asked me if everything was fine, I just nodded my head while starring at his eyeballs because I was still in shock.
The first thing that came to my mind was my little cousin. I knew that girl was in serious danger
I swear this life no balance! How can this guy be this wicked. How? I mean why?
Well, after he finished I gave him HIS money but he insisted as usual, you know trying to form good in-law. but I gave him the warning of his life. I told him I don't want to see him near my cousin again.
I could see the confusion on his face. I felt guilty but then how do I start to explain to this young man that he is a threat to my family? eh? It's not as if I was jealous of him o, but I don't support bad thing rara!

After two weeks I saw them together again. "Is like this boy have titanus in his head oh! " and when he saw me he retracted his steps and took to his heels.
Which kind of wahala is this one na? is this boy not a terrorist like this? I have warned him to stay away from this little girl he will not hear.
Or did they send him to come and destroy her for me?
The next time I see him around her again I'm definitely appearing on insta blog.
