You can write a passionate sop to prove to the visa officer your reasons for denial isn't a justified.

You have 30days from the day of denial to do that

I contacted an agent to help me process a Canada study visa for my self. To cut the long story short, The visa has been approved and the agent has been fully paid, i have my passport with me already but she has refused to drop all log in to both the visa portal and to the email for receiving messages from IRCC. She has even refused giving us letter of introduction which is an important document for traveling. I don't have the LOI I remember asking her about it earlier on but she declined to provide it to me, I have gone to VFS twice but they said they can’t help. although they verified the authenticity of the visa because i gave them my passport to verify, they asked me to go and sort things out with my agent, i am due to travel for my program by January, but as it stands i am helpless, this is already freaking me out guys! she has refused to pick my calls, she is nowhere to be found, all efforts to reach her has proved abortive and even sent a message, claiming to have traveled out of the country,
please what can be done? Help me out here

You can try to reach out to an MP representing the province your school is located.

Then while on that, you can apply for your notes using CBSA.

That way, you can know the cause of delay.

You can ask your bank for this information but please know that paying for tuition via form A takes a long time and might exceeded the given time to pay such tuition. So, always have a plan B when the payment is taking forever.

Just checked the site now. What's the difference between the three on the side:

1.GCMS Note
2. Full File
3. CBSA

Gcms note is same as notes from IRCC. Takes longer time now .

Full file means retrieving your notes plus the docs you applied wity in your previous application.

CBSA is notes from Canada border service Agency. The notes are the same with notes from IRCC.

For those seeking to get their gcms notes, gcms notes from IRCC is taking longer times then usually to have it released. I currently have backlogs same as others using other note retrieval site..

So, I will recommend you apply for your gcms note from CBSA (Canada Border Services Agency). It's the same note as IRCC but the only difference is, it's coming from a different department other than IRCC.

Anyone that wishes to apply through me, I will be giving you a different form rather for CBSA rather than that of IRCC. I have already gotten that of someone that applied on the 15th of October last week. So, I can say CBSA is faster for now. Thanks

It's called ghost update. It means they are or they had a review of your application. It happens alot to everybody.

I think you have a 30days period to submit you passport for stamping. What I will advise, is you submit your passport and get your visa in your hands first. Then wen the admission drops, you send to Ircc but it also means you will have to wait till nov or December to fly if your update admission letter start date is January

I didn't notify ircc about this change.
But not that my visa has been approved will this be an issue for me?.

You made the mistake of not updating IRCC of changes in your admission start date or even told them you have started classes online with your enrollment letter.

You just have to submit your passport as the embassy will issue a visa start date from the date of that September intake.

It will obviously not cover for the entire period on the updated admission.

Apply for your notes if you can or you can start disturbing IRCC.

In my opinion, no.. Since you do have an updated LOA from the school that should suffice at the POE.

This will not work cos at the POE, you will be asked why are you coming in December when your admission letter states September.

That's when your issues with Canadian immigration starts.

It is not an issue.

You must update IRCC with the actual school and period you are startung classes.

Besides at the port of entry, you would be asked for your admission letter.

You said you finished with a 2:1, you should put in for a masters programme and not a PGD programme. PGDs are mostly for students who finished with a 2:2 / a third class.

2.1 graduate going for a PGD.

I have also secured a study visa for a 2.1 graduate and a masters holder going for a PGD.

A 2.1 can go for a PGD if he or she can do justice with their SOPs.

My question now is, I plan on going by December would this be an issue for me.

If you application has been approved and you are traveling in Dec, i will advise you send the updated admission letter to ircc and also present it at the port of entry.

Now, he’s planning to go back for his masters but the issue is that he overstayed his previous study permit. Will it be an issue if he applied for this new study permit?

It will be a bigger issue if he does not declare himself that he overstayed because IRCC already knows.

It is not possible to have two different UCI numbers. You can have different application numbers but not UCI.

Your biometrics information and application are stored in your UCI number hence why you can not do biometrics twice

Kindly be informed that your passport is not ready for collection; it has been received at the Embassy and still under processing. You will get a notification from VFS via email when your passport is ready for collection

You have to be patient. VFS will always update you when there are changes to the location of the passport
