confusedworld17: I just want to learn Ooo... What if after asking around and nobody around seems to be the owner of the money, wetin make I take the money do ? See the bold below for the answer to your question. Be good, boss. okiyi: Going by your story the money is obviously yours but next time bro at least try to ask people around (You don't have to reveal the amount to anyone in case you come across someone claiming ownership) cos if the story was different that may have been someone's monthly salary you picked up you never know and losing it in such a manner'll have spelt doom to such a fellow. At least if you had asked around (assuming the money wasn't yours) and you were unable to locate the rightful owner u'll have had a clear conscience spending the money. My Opinion tho |

omenka: The problem with most of you ipob supporters is that you're too emotional and hardly understand how politics and national security works.
It doesnt matter if he travels elsewhere freely, in NIGERIA he is a terrorist!
The Kurds for instance are US allies and helped in no small measure to defeat ISIS. The Kurds are indigenous to Turkey and Turkey sees them as Terrorists. Yet the US works with them.
Israel takes Hezbollah to be terrorist organization, yet it is a registered political party in Palestine.
The Muslim Brotherhood was once a political party and only recently produced the PRESIDENT of Egypt through a CREDIBLE ELECTION, yet, after the last coup in the country, the military designated it a terrorist organization. Notwithstanding, her members still travel around the world unimpeded.
The point is, a country reserves the right to designate non state actors as terrorists if they view them as inimical to its existence and sovereignty. That a country labels an individual or group terrorist doesnt necessarily mean the world must follow suit. The reason why every other country takes as a terrorist organization any entity labelled as such by the United States is because of the influence US wields across the world.
So cut the crap and get some enlightenment. Nelson Mandela was a terrorist in the US for many years. US government considered Nelson Mandela a terrorist until 2008

Thegoodone13: Benin Republic has a population of 12 million people. But it is the worlds 5th importer of rice. In 2018, it imported rice worth US$996m.*
*Benin is also world's largest importer of _used_ _cars_ and __second_ - _hand_ _clothing_ . All with a population of 12m people.* *DO YOU WONDER HOW?.........* *Don't!*
*98.2% of these imports into Benin are only on transit; their final destination is _NIGERIA_ !* *Nigeria is world's largest consumer of used cars and second hand clothing, and is also Africa's largest consumer of Asian grown rice.*
*The problem here is that all these imported goods attract appropriate import duty and trade tax, which are paid to the Beninoise Government while the goods are thence SMUGGLED into Nigeria WITHOUT ANY PAYMENT to the Nigerian Government and, thereby, adding zero value to the Nigerian economy!* *Sadly, THIS IS ALL DONE BY NIGERIANS!*
*Granted, ECOWAS/CEDEAO charter allows for free trade between member states, but _on_ _goods_ _produced_ _in_ _member_ _countries_ , and NOT on imports from other economic blocs.*
*Where foreign goods are transiting through a member country, and ending up in another member country, the ECOWAS charter stipulates that the country of transit MAY collect a token trade tax, and its Customs officials should then escort the goods to the border of the importing country and hand it over to the Customs officials of the importing country!* *But what we see in the case of Benin Republic is that it collects _CUSTOMS_ _DUTY_ plus _TRADE_ _TAX_ , and then allows the goods to pass through its hinterland for onward smuggle into Nigeria!*
*This is a clear violation of ECOWAS statutes and no nation can condone such costly infraction.*
*Nigeria has tolerated this nonsense from Benin for far too long and it is time to stop the malpractice if we want Nigeria's economy to grow.* *(Therefore, whoever cries foul because we have closed our borders to smugglers while we're putting our act together, IS AN ENEMY OF NIGERIA!)*
*Nigeria makes up about 74% of ECOWAS population and about 71% of its economy. It is ECOWAS that needs Nigeria and not the other way round!*
ANY RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MEMBER COUNTRIES MUST BE BASED ON EXTANT REGULATIONS! In summary the retired soldier in Aso Rock and his fellow pensioner in charge of Customs have failed to police our borders appropriately.Anything else beyond the glaring incompetence that Nigerians must pay for dearly? www.nairaland.com/attachments/6267651_1510641139934_jpege8dffaed6f52da138b21556e4465e5b5 |

Is that what the president who closed the border is riding? Innoson? What of the senators and representatives? Are they spending billions on Innoson? Get wise and stop the self deceit and self hate. RichDad1: He should come and say it in Nigeria. If he joins the Alliance of Past/Present Crooks, APC his sins will be forgiven. So says Oshi-omo-Ole. www.nairaland.com/attachments/2773141_osioinlove_jpeg19f5c22a1acf79a34119ea684a80d78fFactBoyz: The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, has said politicians’ sins are forgiven when they join the ruling party.
Oshiomhole made this statement on Thursday, while welcoming new members to the party, at the APC presidential campaign in Benin.
As he reeled out names of those who have defected from the PDP to the APC, he said: “I am told that there are a lot of very very senior people from PDP who have decided to join forces with President Buhari to take the broom to sweep away PDP and to continue to ensure that APC continues to preside all over Nigeria.
“It includes my own brother, my friend who comes from my own clime, Henry Duke Genebe. He is the former organising secretary of PDP and we also have former vice chairman PDP and leader of Edo North of PDP. We also have my brother Chief Esheshi Godwin. He is also former council chairman and my very dear friend. We have quite a number of other leaders who have come.
“We have quite a number of other leaders who have come… in fact, once you have joined APC, all your sins are forgiven.”
