Success1020: I read this 10x, just trying to know why she was arrested. What is the job of EFCC? I didn't see where she committed any fraud. Why parade her when all these are allegations? Why not do your investigation like FBI before arresting and parading her? If her offense is simply malfeseance or neglligence; not having the appropriate license to conduct financial center, does that warrant this? Lady, lawyer up. Or pm me, my law firm can handle this pro bono!
I decided to point this out because someone of us can't read, and will start shouting "rot in jail" like the one below me. So for your mind Ponzi scheme is not fraud |

Validated: There is absolutely no positive in this APC and Buhari government. Nothing is working, just lies, propaganda and corrupt media blitz. As it is now, we do not have NASS and Judiciary. Civil society is dead and the youth are docile. If Buhari decides to change the constitution to run for a third term, nothing can stop him. To some extent, this is very good so that our ZBs will be sensible next time. Atleast OP brain is now reset, perhaps more hunger, unemployment, insecurity and detentions without trials are necessary to reset other ZBs brain. maasoap: You are so much afraid of recession and poverty, why couldn't you tell Mr IB of Otuoke who negotiated the settlement deal in 2013 but refused to honour it until he left office even when crude oil was selling above 100 dollars per barrel? Don't let hate lead you into speaking out of ignorance when reading materials are easily available. Mr Quinn said the contract was conceived during the tenure of the late former President Musa Yar’Adua, who doubled as the Minister of Petroleum Resources.
He said the idea of the project was first introduced to the then permanent secretary at the State House.
The official said he was advised to forward a proposal to the president in his capacity as minister of petroleum resources, while the then permanent secretary in the ministry of petroleum resources also proposed the need to seek a formal meeting with the president.
When P&ID proposal was being considered, Mr Quinn said he identified the Special Adviser to the President on Energy and Strategic Matters then as the late Rilwanu Lukman.
He said he also approached Mr Lukman and discussed the project with him.
On August 7, 2008, he said P&ID wrote to Mr Yar’Adua on a formal proposal for the project to be implemented.
The company was subsequently invited to meet the president, who, he said, directed that a presentation be made to the Minister of State at the Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
He said P&ID made the presentation to Mr Odusina and the Ministry of Petroleum Resources in October 2008.
Following his reappointment as Minister of Petroleum Resources on December 18, 2008, Mr Quinn said Mr Lukman in early 2009 directed P&ID’s proposal be further examined by the government.
P&ID was reportedly invited by the Special Technical Adviser to the Minister, Taofiq Tijani, to represent to the Minister for Petroleum Resources on February 24, 2009.
After the presentation, Mr Quinn said several top-level meetings were held involving the Ministry, NNPC, DPR, NAPIMS and Addax Petroleum to come with the gas sales and purchase agreement.
On January 11, 2010, Mr Quinn said the GSPA was executed by him on behalf of P&ID and Mr Lukman on behalf of the Nigerian government.
However, the setback to the contract, which may have laid the foundation for the dispute and arbitration was the call to Mr Quinn in the final week of June 2012 by Debo Spaine of Addax Petroleum.
Mr Spaine informed Mr Quinn that Addax’s headquarters in Switzerland had unilaterally decided to withdraw their cooperation and wished to “undertake the development of the NAG [non-associated gas] themselves”.
On February 10, 2012, Mr Quinnn said he wrote to the then newly-elected President, Goodluck Jonathan, to solicit his support.
He did not say what Mr Jonthan’s response was.

DrNueLpureHoney: Sure thing
late General Sani Abacha na action man unlike Buhari who is also a RTD General but I wonder where he got his own rank from....cos he doesn't act like one.
God will surely make a way for us.
South Africans can never stop us. Jonathan was not considered an action man. In fact barawo bubu and his fellow APC crooks called him clueless but he made the South Africans beg us publicly. Have you heard that sense is better than brutish power? That is why an executive controls labourers. South Africa apologies to Nigeria over yellow fever row 8 March 2012
South Africa has apologised for the deportation last week of 125 Nigerians over suspicions that their yellow fever certificates were fake.
The action quickly turned into a diplomatic spat - with Nigeria refusing South Africans entry and the foreign minister branding Pretoria xenophobic.
South Africa has rejected that claim - and promised new procedures to avoid a repeat of the "regrettable incident".
At one stage Nigerian carrier, Arik Air, suspended flights to South Africa.
Yellow fever is spread through infected mosquitoes and has a wide array of symptoms from nausea and vomiting to kidney failure, jaundice and bleeding.
According to the UN World Health Organization, about half those who develop severe symptoms of the haemorrhagic illness and are untreated die from the disease - about 30,000 people each year worldwide.
'Regrettable incident' "We wish to humbly apologise to them, and we have," South Africa's Deputy Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ibrahim said.
"We are apologising because we deported a number of people who should not have been deported," Mr Ibrahim said - adding that he does not expect an apology from Nigeria for the tit-for-tat deportations of South African nationals.
He blamed airport authorities for what a joint statement with Nigeria described as a "regrettable incident which the South African government believes could have been handled better".
The Nigerians were turned away on 2 March because the yellow fever certificates were not check properly, according to the deputy minister.
South Africa is considering reopening a travel clinic at Johannesburg's airport - so that travellers without a yellow fever certificate can be vaccinated on arrival rather than deported.
And from now on, mass deportations will need the permission of foreign ministry officials, the deputy minister said.
On Tuesday, Olugbenga Ashiru, Nigeria's foreign minister, said the deportations was evidence of xenophobia.
"What you see playing out is what we call xenophobia by South Africans against all Africans - not just Nigerians," AFP news agency reported him as saying.
In 2008, South Africa saw a wave of xenophobic violence which shocked the nation and shook up the world's view of the "rainbow nation".
Mr Ibrahim said on Thursday that South Africa is not a xenophobic country.
The two countries say the yellow fever row will not undermine bilateral relations - and they are moving to strengthening them.
Nigeria is one of the biggest markets for South Africa's MTN mobile phone operator, while retailer Shoprite and Standard Bank also have profitable operations there.

Go and read a comprehensive report on this case on the front page. Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, which I cannot do for you. You need to do a lot of reading before you advice others to do the same. Do you know why your barawo bubu is keen about wrecking us into recession and keeping us in extreme poverty $9.6b judgment: How P&ID snubbed Buhari’s $600m offer
According to the fact-sheet, President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo separately approved negotiation with Messrs Process and Industrial Developments (P&ID) after the Arbitration Tribunal awarded $6.597billion to the company. The two leaders at various times offered $250million and an improved offer of $600million to the Irish company.
The Vice President gave the approval on April 18, 2017, following the recommendations of the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Mallam Abubakar Malami (SAN), which included a negotiation with P&ID.
Also, President Muhammadu Buhari directed the Federal Government’s team to meet with P&ID counsel on July 12 and 13 in New York.
Based on Osinbajo’s approval, the AGF and the then Minister of State for Petroleum Resources Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, and a delegation along with counsel Chief Bolaji Ayorinde, SAN, on May 16, 2017, met with representatives of P & ID and its counsel to negotiate the judgment debt.
The government team initially on May 16, 2017 succeeded in negotiating the judgment debt from $8.4billion, to which it had risen, to $600million.
But P & ID rejected the offer on the grounds that what was agreed on to be executed was a Draft Stay of Enforcement Agreement and not a Settlement Agreement as proposed by the Federal Government.
The Federal Government offered $250million which P&ID rejected.
The document said although a former Attorney-General of the Federation, Mr. Mohammed Bello Adoke (SAN), recommended an amicable settlement with P&ID, the “ proposed settlement broke down.”
The government said the “settlement could not be reached before the time for report of settlement elapsed, therefore proceedings resumed at the Tribunal for determination.”

Meritocracy: Education is never free, anything free is dangerous for future. Always speak from a point of knowledge and not from ignorance. How many people are fleeing England, because it is dangerous due to free education, to come and live in Nigeria because "education is never free" Education in England
Full-time education is compulsory for all children aged 5 to 18, either at school or otherwise, with a child beginning primary education during the school year they turn 5. Children between the ages of 3 and 5 are entitled to 600 hours per year of optional, state-funded, pre-school education. This can be provided in "playgroups", nurseries, community childcare centres or nursery classes in schools. + + + Some 93% of children between the ages of 3 and 18 are in education in state-funded schools without charge (other than for activities such as swimming, theatre visits and field trips for which a voluntary payment can be requested, and limited charges at state-funded boarding schools).

You don't value what you don't pay for. And the fees are affordable. Hopefully there will be less truancy in the schools. How on Earth will a party do its primary in the mid-night, if u have nothing 2 hide in an opposition leading state.
From my investigation, I learnt the delegates after collecting huge DOLLARS from DINO now went back 2 vote their IGALA candidacy. And u expect the process 2 be peaceful.
My sympathy 2 d victims of the violent attacks and the Governor of Adamawa state.
Before u come here blaming GOV. BELLO even if he has a hand, PDP should know they have less than 48hrs to field a candidate or lose their opportunity of changing d state 4 good as a result of this Irregularities....,

35824L: PDP cannot do without rigging. It is their identity. Please ensure that you have something tangible to say before exposing yourself to ridicule in public.Symphony007: Buhari reveals how APC won Osun governorship with ‘remote control’
President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, while appealing to traditional rulers in Osun State to support his reelection to enable his administration consolidate on its achievements, revealed that APC was able to win the state’s governorship election held months back with the aid of remove control.
Buhari, who failed to provide details of what he meant by remote control, said: “I know how much trouble we had in the last election here. I know by remote control through so many sources how we managed to maintain the party (APC) in power in this state.”
The President said this while interacting with the monarchs led by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan at the banquet hall of Osun State Government House.
Buhari, received on arrival along with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo by Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola and his entourage, said the APC has recorded gains in the areas of infrastructural hence the need for the people to return the administration to consolidate on the achievement its has made in the last three years.
He urged the traditional rulers to join hands with his government to tackle the menace of insecurity, assuring that his government was working towards providing social service programmes and soft loans to farmers to boost the agriculture sector of the economy. Oba Wahab Kayode Oyedotun, speaking on behalf of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi who arrived later, assured President Buhari of victory at the February 16 Presidential election.
