No wonder Jonathan made the call to concede rather than call almajiris to soak dogs and baboons in blood.

FG, States, LGs Share N568.4 Billion for Oct
15 NOVEMBER 2013

Also, $1billion was proposed for distribution to complement shortfall in expected revenue." The $1billion is a compromise by the FG over its words in September not to augment shortfalls anymore.

Responding to the presentation, the chairman of the States Commissioners of Finance and Ebonyi State Commissioner of Finance, Mr Timothy Odaah, lamented that the statutory allocation was getting smaller and smaller. "It appears this is the worst in terms of returns. This is the least in allocations as far as this year is concerned. We are mourning the dearth of funds and this is a wakeup call for states and local governments to buoy up their internally generated revenue."

While appreciating the "magnanimity" of President Goodluck Jonathan to approve the $1billion from the excess crude account and to be shared among the federal, state and local governments, Odaah expressed disappointment with the returns made by the NNPC.

He said that the states had requested for $2bn to complement for the shortfall in revenue but got only $1billion. In September, Odaah and fellow commissioners had walked out of the Accountant General of the Federation (AGF) when the federal government said that the framework of the 2013 budget was no longer realistic and it won't augment shortfall in revenue. Odaah raised issues with the statutory allocations of previous months.

Revealed: How Buhari Budgeted N39 billion for Propaganda

In a bid to launder his already battered image, President Muhammadu Buhari has allocated a whooping sum of N39 billion in the 2016 budget to the Ministry of Information and Culture, a sum higher than the paltry N29 billion allocated to the Ministry of Agriculture.

This is a direct inverse of the 2015 budget, where Former President Goodluck Jonathan allocated the sum of N23 billion to Ministry of Information and N39 billion to the Agricultural Ministry.

The meager allocation to the Agricultural ministry has left political stakeholders wondering if the present administration aims at diversifying the economy or thriving on propaganda.

Buhari had in August, 2015 stated that Nigerians must stop paying mere lip service to agriculture, as crude oil and gas exports will no longer be sufficient as the country’s major revenue earner.

“It’s time to go back to the land. We must face the reality that the petroleum we had depended on for so long will no longer suffice. We campaigned heavily on agriculture, and we are ready to assist as many want to go into agricultural ventures,’’ Buhari stated.

However investigations by Post Nigeria revealed that Buhari’s words did not match his action following the lean budgetary provision for Agriculture.

Is not as if Jonathan didnt do anything. The problem is that his every good idea was countered and destroyed by corruption and impunity.

Look at the abuja-kaduna rail that simply became a conduit pipe to siphon billions without completion. Same this with East-West road in the south south. His friends and cronies became billionaires overnight and their every looting seemed to be endorsed by the president. Abuja-kaduna rail would have been jonathan legacy but for massive scale corruption. He cannot now claim to be happy with "achievements" that never existedb

Abiola's case was truly pathetic.
After he was used, along with his defunct newspaper- The Concord- to rubbish Awo's chances at the presidency, he was coldly told in 1983 that the presidency was not for sale by Alhaji Umaru Dikko. Stubborn goat that he was, he went ahead to contest in 1998, which led to his incarceration and death. A similar fate befell Ladoke Akintola.

Bola Tinubu's Heroin-Tainted Assets Forfeiture Judgement

Sahara Reporters has obtained original copies of a judgement in the case of United States v Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos State, in which Bola Tinubu was charged (along with other defendants) in a case of massive drug trafficking and money laundering. This judgement directly relates to (and further documents) the September 16, 2008 "How U.S Federal Agents succesfully Linked Bola Tinubu to drug Trafficking Ring in Chicago" report by Sahara Reporters

Snippets of the case and subsequent judgement are presented below. The complete document (VERY LARGE pdf file - 4mb) can be downloaded at the end of this report.

The United States of America, by its attorney, Michael J. Shepard, United States Attorney for Northern District of Illinois, for its verified complaint of forfeiture, states as follows:

1. This is a FORFEITURE action under 21 U.S.C , ss88 and 18, ss 981.....
2. The DEFENDANT funds are located in the above-described accounts and were SEIZED pursuant to PROCESS ISSUED BY THIS COURT....
...
4.... beginning as early as 1998, Adegboyega Mueez Akande, WITH OTHERS OPERATED a organiszation (sic) which DISTRIBUTED WHITE HEROIN, a controlled substance under Title 21 of the United States Code.
5.... this DISTRIBUTION OPERATION was conducted on a LARGE SCALE and the PROCEEDS of the operation SUBSTANTIAL. The defendant funds represent proceeds of this OPERATION of property involved in MONEY LAUNDERING.
6.... the defendant funds represent proceeds of NARCOTICS TRAFFICKING ... and ... MONEY LAUNDERING..... the funds are therefore FOREFEITABLE to the United States....

JUDGEMENT:

How U.S Federal Agents succesfully Linked Bola Tinubu to drug Trafficking Ring in Chicago

Facts have emerged that the erstwhile Governor of Lagos state, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu may have been involved in a white heroin trafficking network which operated in Chicago and some parts of Indiana and led by one Adegboyega Mueez Akande between 1988 and 1993. The source of the white heroine was identified as one Mr. Lee Andrew Edwards who was incarcerated for attempting to murder a federal agent while the agent was executing a search warrant on him.

Did his fyt against jonathan not enthrone Buhari's presidency?
No doubt Tinubu lyk every fyta has lost some fights ; He didn't engage d ryt persons in doz wars as seen in d Ministerial nominees, in d NA case etc . Mind u, against d wish of Atiku, Ali Modu Sheriff, Tom Ikimi etc etc, Tinubu single handedly made John Oyegun pati chairman.

Now, d cameleon has shown its true colour and d ryt man to engage directly is now known.... Buhari : d hand of Esua, d voice of Jacob.

If Jagaban fyts lyk himsef, Buhari will neva have a 2nd term! Nigerians are alredy fed up 2yrs into his presidency. Dis change may lead us into worse hardships n economic situations dan we had under Abacha.

Wat z a joke?

I dont get it still.
The joke is for any reasonable person to think and then say that Jagbajantis is fighting for anything else but HIMSELF.
Hope you get it now.
Now let me enlighten you from one highlight in your own post, in case you are still redeemable from wherever you have stuck yourself.

Did Tinubu not fight in Nadeco against Abacha?
He simply used NADECO as cover for his drug dealing business. He had to forfeit $460,000 to the US authorities so his CRIME could be wiped off.
No more, no less.

Our Journalists, intellectuals, human rights activitists both online/offline are for sale and to the highest bidder and the northerners especially the names I mentioned above have learnt how to use intellectuals to drive their agenda from Tinubu very well. Tinubu for years is the master of this.

If the rumours we hear are true, Amosun, Fashola, Fayemi, etc will be used to cut Tinubu to size by 2019. However, for the sake of our Democracy I sincerely pray Tinubu has something up his sleeve like joining the mega party that'll be formed ending of 2017.

I hate to admit this but Nigerian democracy needs a Tinubu in the opposition now more than ever before.

So who is the loser? Definitely not Tinubu!!
Buhari may have learnt his lesson from the national assembly and the politics of economic recession.
Is it an Oyegun that will deliver votes in Ondo?.Knowing Tinubu, I am least bothered about his political sagacity. One sure thing is that, APC will never win Ondo without his support.

Businessideas:
It's only if you live by the moral code of cheating that you will not look beyond Tinubu to understand the gravity of what Oyegun has done. If it's in saner climes, that criminal who altered the list of delegates should be in jail by now.
The real villain is that person who removed the names of legitimate delegates and inserted fake names to subvert the process. I am not worried about the capacity of Tinubu to weather the storm but the fact that our collective hope to redeem this country is once again being subverted.
Buhari must not keep silent. Aketi is definitely not going to win!!
Why are you exposing the underbelly of the "bastard" who has CHANCED the Yoruba nation for 17 years plus from being a pauperised, poverty-ridden former drug lord with forged name & qualifications to being the owner of practically all of Lagos state?
Anyway make I helep your memory small. grin
