iammo: Listen to what Dr Goodluck Jonathan has to say about Jagaban the slayer of PDP
former President Goodluck Jonathan felicitated with Mr Tinubu whom he described as a patriot and political leader who has contributed so much to the growth of the nation’s democracy.
“As a patriot, politician and leader, you have contributed so much to the advancement of our nation’s democracy and nurtured many individuals to greatness. I wish you more years of sound health, peace and glory, as you celebrate. Happy birthday, Your Excellency,” Mr Johnathan said, through his spokesperson, Ikechukwu Eze. You are a JJC Learner. So sad. https://www.eis.co.za/image/cache/catalog/WELDING%20-%20OTHER/Product%20Image/SIGN150VLEARN-800x800.jpgchiwetaluAGU: A national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has asserted that Nigeria needs people like former vice president, Atiku Abubakar to make life more meaningful for Nigerians.
In a letter to felicitate with the former vice president on his 70th birthday, Tinubu described the Turakin Adamawa as a man of faith, saying faith has kept him going and waxing strong.
In the letter he personally signed, the former Lagos governor urged Atiku to accept that “there is a tide in the affairs of men”.
Tinubu wrote: “I write to felicitate with you on the attainment of the proverbial age of three scores and ten, 70. Your life has been a life of service to your people, your country and the causes you believe in. Nigeria has been well-served by your stewardship and leadership.
“Your steadfastness in walking the democratic path sets you apart as a leader with substance.
“Your passion for education has seen you invest your time and resources in education, knowing full well that when you educate people, you educate a nation.
“You are a man of faith. Your faith has kept you going and kept you strong. I urge you to accept that there is a tide in the affairs of men. You must continue to serve Nigeria well even as a private citizen and a notable leader.
“Do not relent because Nigeria needs you and others like you to continue to make life more meaningful. We must continue to explore common grounds towards promoting the common good.
“I pray for a long life and continued good health for Turaki Adamawa, Atiku Abubakar”.
Recall that reports recently had it that both men are allegedly plotting to float a new political party ahead of the 2019 elections.

iammo: I hope this your wailing job is lucrative, posting smiley faces about with nonsense and ridiculous image links
now to school you like my child.. it was very necessary for Buhari's regime to cut down excess spending when he inherited an economy in recession from shagari, shagari already owed many contractors, he was so desperate that he was making counter productive policy like Shagari's famous "Ghana must go" someone had to step in, cancel future project, and complete the few essential ones, while paying contractors and that's what Gen Buhari and Idiagbon did
as for the nonsense of jonathan starting it, my child that nonsense lie need to stop... Saraki approved the counter part funding for this project and Chinese loan was used to mobilise people to site, Osinbajo did ground breaking and Ameachi graciously supervised the project Keep justifying your failure forever idol.Your barawo bubu himself knows it is not easy to defend his incompetence by the miserable N30,000 BMC crew. It is not easy to defend me, my government – Buhari June 2, 2018
President Muhammadu Buhari has said that it was difficult for anybody to defend him or his administration.
The President said this on Friday when he received members of the Buhari Media Support Organisation at the Presidential Villa , Abuja.
Buhari noted that members of the group, and other Nigerians who have been defending him and his government , had been doing so as a sacrifice.
He said, “I don’ t think I can thank you enough for your steadfastness under very difficult circumstances.
“It is not easy to defend this administration and more in particular to defend me. But your consistency has given me a lot of confidence.

SocialJustice: Petrol should be selling for under N100. If not for NNPC greed and fraud, this is the time to truly deregulate petroleum products. NNPC and fraud ended in 2015 when Diezani was replaced by a new minister of petroleum with plenty integrity. Despite Being Dormant, Refineries Receive N80.74bn Crude Oil March 9, 2020
A total of 4,084,560 barrels of crude oil valued at N80.74bn were supplied to Nigeria’s refineries for a period of 13 months despite the poor performance of the often dormant facilities at various intervals.
Latest industry figures obtained from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation on Friday showed that between October 2018 and October 2019, the country’s refineries under the management of the NNPC got N80.74bn worth of crude oil in six out of the 13-month period.
The refineries are the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company, Port Harcourt Refining Company and Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company.
For several months, the facilities operated far below expectation. For instance, in November 2019, the refineries processed no crude oil and their production of finished products was recorded as negative.

chozzy: You're just ignorant of how the rail projects work. It's not about PDP or APC.
Remember, these projects are not funded by Buhari's FG. The Chinese govt finances them directly from Beijing so, what will make them delay? China is not known to abandon projects.
The Ajaokuta - Itakpe - Warri line was over 75% completed when GEJ left office. Chinese CCEC were still working when Buhari/Amaechi took over in 2015.
The Abuja - Kaduna line was nearly 100% completed when GEJ left office. The only remaining thing Amaechi did was the completion of the Idu terminal which the Catholic Church filed a law suit against FG for forcefully taking over their land.
GEJ started the Kaduna - Abuja line in 2011 and by December 2015 it was fully completed. The Chinese govt did not delay that project. The project did not last 10yrs, you lied. GEJ also started the Ajaokuta - Itakpe - Warri line in 2013. It's been completed since 2018. China does not unnecessarily delay projects. Why are you bursting the zonebees and their filthy lies so easily? Please don't make them cry too much o |

iammo: Thank you Buhari thank you ameachi, and thank you china.. death rate at the varioust express due to accidents can now reduce Thank him for not cancelling the project initiated and paid for by Jonathan, as he did for the Lagos metro line in 1984 Are you wise? Or trying vainly to be wise?www.nairaland.com/attachments/2045441_image_jpeg9f360c5ab7736510df54c882e9dbf188Splashme: The first civilian governor of Lagos State, Alhaji Lateef Jakande, on Tuesday, said that the cancellation of the Lagos metroline project in 1985 was a major mistake and disservice to many Nigerians.
Jakande spoke in Lagos during the launch of a book which chronicled his life in politics and journalism.
The book, entitled, ‘Jakande: Leadership in Action’ is written by Dr. Bola Olaosebikan, who told the audience at the event that the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), was not responsible for the cancellation of the project.
Jakande said, “Reflecting on the metroline project, I think it is a major disservice to many Nigerians. Imagine how many people would have benefitted. It would have made life easier and changed the face of transport in Lagos. Whoever cancelled it or gave the advice towards its cancellation didn’t do right.”
The former governor asked Nigerians not to vote for unserious leaders in the coming polls, saying the elections presented Nigerians with a good opportunity that should not be squandered.
Expressing the hope that Nigeria would soon overcome its developmental challenges, Jakande said hope would be actualised faster if credible people emerged as leaders in the next dispensation.
He said, “This book comes at a very auspicious time in Nigeria’s history as we need leaders who can act. We need leaders who would not compromise the standards of good governance. God has blessed this nation the most in Africa, although we have not reached where we should be; with the right leaders, Nigeria would overcome its challenges.”

KPMG: Nigeria’s high speed rail is ‘world-class’
Nigeria’s high speed rail project initiated by President Goodluck Jonathan has been rated among the global top 100 world-class infrastructure projects by KPMG.
The rail will connect Lagos, Kano, Kaduna, Warri, Bauchi, Abuja, and Port Harcourt and will cost the country $13 billion, much of which will be financed with a loan from the Export Import Bank of China.
The China Railway Construction Corporation has secured the contract to build the 3,218-kilometre network, which will be digitally operated using fibre-optic cables, radio communication and wireless services.
The project is designed to cover 54 stations and will take 25 years to build.

In the report, The Infrastructure 100: World Markets Report, the KPMG panel of judges said the project “will remove heavy freight from Nigeria’s stressed roads, could save the country millions on road maintenance”.
Other African projects on the list are: Khi Solar One (South Africa), Square Kilometer Array (South Africa), PRASA Rolling Stock (South Africa), Kudu Gas Field and CCGT Project (Namibia),Trans-Saharan Natural Gas Project (Nigeria to Algeria), Mombasa-Kigali Railway (Rwanda), KivuWatt (Rwanda), Jinja Bridge (Uganda), and Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Terminal (Kenya).
In its note, KPMG said the report highlights key trends driving infrastructure investment around the world.
A global panel of industry experts identifies 100 of the world’s most innovative, impactful infrastructure projects showing how governments are coming together with the private sector to overcome funding constraints to finance and build projects that can improve quality of life – both solving immediate needs and planning for future societal demands.
The report looks at infrastructure based on the dynamics of four key markets: Mature International Markets (like Canada, Australia, and UK), Economic Powerhouses (including the US and BRIC countries), Smaller Established Markets (like Chile, Sweden, New Zealand, Korea and South Africa), and Emerging Markets (including a number of economies in Africa).

JKisOK: This is for the deep. We are staying home today in Lagos and several other parts of Nigeria because the authorities so ruled. An act which you performed just last week suddenly becomes criminalised and even the religious bodies had to bow.
Psalm 82:6 says, "Ye are gods...."
So yes, God allows society to determine morality when it flows with His will and for the proper conduct of society when the man-made rules do not clash with His laws. Ye are confused..................... |

JKisOK: Actually, the principle is that of societal condemnation or approval. If the society comes together to rule a conduct as wrong, Heaven sanctions that rule and .
Mt 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Mt 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Mt 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
And in some communities, some spiritual forces, demons or angels, have been invoked to enforce the rules and punish violators. This is only for the deep! Are you saying that the voice of the people is the voice of (their) God?Vox Populi, Vox Dei |

youngvikthor: yes bro E be like sey toto story too dey sweet you. youngvikthor: Everybody was in shock yesterday at Ebelle community in Edo state as a man returns his wife to her parents saying the woman vagina is too wide. The community was amused at how the man identified as Osamudiame Iyobosa could be that childish as to return his legally married wife for such flimsy excuse.
The man who dropped his wife at her parent’s house in Ubiaja in a green coloured golf 4 told his in-laws that many people must have slept with Edeki for her vagina to be that wide.
The couple before now were living at upper mission road in Benin city. It was said that Edeki was merely recommended to Iyobosa.
However, a man who sells palm wine near Ubiaja market admits that the man may be right, according to him, Edeki was a well-known flirt in the neighbourhood and that no indigene would have married her.
He said they were all surprised when Iyobosa came from Benin to marry her. Some young girls even started flirting saying that flirts are the luckiest ones using Edeki as an example of a lucky flirt.
The parents of Edeki were said to have been very angry with their inlaw for exposing their weakness publicly. The mother of the girl according to a witness was said to have called Iyobosa half man.
They said this is strange as no man has ever done that to the community by returning his wife for having a wide private part. The worst was that Iyobosa told onlookers that his wife had expressway |
