ArcFresky: Funny thing is we can't really blame the police. The Nigerian system is to carry majority of the blame. If police men, are well trained, well paid... Stuff like this won't happen. How can a man with such potbelly be a police officer? Then you arm a poorly trained, un educated bully with an AK-47 that is meant for war....? He will feel like God. You know sometimes, I read about police gun battles with criminals that last 30mins-2hours.... And when you see the guns of the criminals, local dane guns.......... ☹.. Its shows poor training, both in tactics and weapon use. Even though the guy is devilish and a stupid moronic murderer, the society is to blame.
I hope that the confusion in your post above does not characterise your architectural work. It would be a disaster for your clients.
Mutemenot: You can't give what you don't have. Northerners are naturally meant to be the way they are. Most of the alhaji you see parading with water bottles are worth millions of naira ...
What is the percentage in the whole population of these Alhajis worth million of naira
ursullalinda: You are on point......most northerners rush back home to bring their brothers over as if they have seen the light and want to show their brothers the way......northern leaders are the worst set of human beings on this planet.......for keeping their people backward , God will punish them severely.
Lyoncrescent: I can't knock someone if he's qualified but I'm worried about precedence. If all the major revenue generating agencies are headed by northerners then it's a cause for worry. Firs, custom, nnpc( these big three each generate trillions of naira annually), DPR, NPA , NCAA, nimasa. Even the minister of finance is a northerner. With exception of the CBN governor and BOI boss who is from the south and CBN is not really a revenue generating agency, I don't know any major person from the south heading anything relating to revenue generation
If they are the best hands for the postions no problem. But come 2023 if an emeka or seun or bassey becomes president and fills southerners with these same positions, I just hope it won't raise eye brows.
Did you just say qualified? You should have found out his profile details na.
Jamoh, who hails from Kaduna, is also the current president of the Chartered Institute of Transport Administration of Nigeria (CIoTA).

He also holds a master’s degree in management from Korea Maritime and Ocean University, a post-graduate diploma in management sciences from Bayero University, Kano and a diploma in accounting from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.
TheCable also understands that he has 32 years of professional experience in the transportation and maritime sector.
He is also the author of the book, Harnessing Nigeria’s Maritime Assets: Past, Present and Future.
Jamoh joined NIMASA in 2003 as an assistant chief commercial officer, eastern and central zones.
He served with the Kaduna state government before transferring his services to the then National Maritime Authority (NMA) in 1994.
How virile has NIMASA been since 2003? What was the performance of NMA from 1994 to 2003? How many southerners transferred their services from their state governments to the federal in the Fulani Republic of Naijeriya, FRN?
arinze198: She was told that she will embark on some spiritual work to enable her to manage the millions of Naira they will hand over to her which involved sleeping with her one after the other. She equally believed them; they gang-raped her and asked her to come back on an agreed date to carry the money.
solmus: unfortunately for Ibo people they cant even get vice presidency again because no sensible northerners would waste his or her money on joint ticket with national election failure specialist
Go through the cut off points below and point out how the north has benefited from their hold on power since forever. Continue your self-delusion.

After 50 years of Independence, the government of the so called disadvantaged regions ought to have done something to address the situation. You cannot continue to spoon-feed a child and expect that same child to grow, mature and be independent. A student from Abia scores 130 in the Federal Commonwealth Entrance exam, yet it's almost impossible to gain admission in the school of his choice, yet another child from Zamfara will score less than 5 and gain same admission seamlessly. How do you encourage such a child that hard work and merit pays?
Look at all the appointments the president has made so far, over 90% from the north. They are telling us they are based on merit. My question is how comes, when it comes to appointment, they are hiding under merit to appoint only their own, but when it comes to exams and admission into Federal institutions, they bring in Federal character. I'm an advocate of merit, hardwork, transparency, objectivity and emperical selection process. That way you encourage everybody to work hard for whatever he/she wants. After all, the Bible says, "he who does not work, let him not eat". It's against natural and spiritual justice and principle to take from those who work and give to those who don't work. That in itself is the root of corruption Nigeria.
I support the President's fight against corruption. I advocate the enthronement of merit and objectivity in our national life. So, Mr. President, if you are serious about your anti-corruption mantra, If you are serious about this your new "merit" policy, let's go back to the basis. Start by eliminating all forms of quota system and federal character in the admission process into Unity schools, Federal universities and recruitment/employment into all federal civil service, agencies, parastatals and let's see who will be qualified. That's my humble submission.
solmus: Stop fooling yourself, North is not a single entity from voting parttern of 2003 , 2011 , kwara isn't arrewa same as kogi, Taraba , Platuea , Benue and if a s an Ibo man you still think benue would follow ibos to vote another Fulani man then you are sleeping on a bike
Racoon: And how have the exclusive right of producing most of Nigerian presidents by the core north helped the cause of the region itself & the country as a whole? It's not the same shithole since 1966? So Bleep you all power mongers.
GetItRightniger: The All Progressive Congress, (APC) rally in Gbagada area of Lagos State yesterday was interrupted by violence as political thugs clashed at the venue leading to the death of two people. Dailypost learnt that trouble started midway into the campaign when one of the speakers was addressing supporters.
The rally that started on a peaceful accord saw members dressed in the party attire. However, problem started when opposing group took up weapons against each other.
According to an eyewitness, one of the groups, which arrived at the venue late started causing pandemonium as party members were seen running in confusion. Men of the Nigerian Police force were drafted to the venue to help bring some sanity to the area and in the process they were able to revive one of the thugs stabbed laying helplessly on the ground.
mackay37: No fewer than ten people lost their lives on Monday evening in two different incidents in Katsina State. While six people were killed by suspected poltical thugs in Sabuwa council area, four others lost their lives along kankara-Dutsinma road in the state. The victims were killed shortly after an election campaign rally held in Sabuwar LG area by the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC). The second incident happened along the Kankara-Dutsinma road, near the new site of the Federal University (FUDMA), Dutsinma. Daily Independent learnt that four people were attacked by suspected bandits while traveling late evening from katsina to an undisclosed destination. The incidents are coming on the heels of reported cases of the security siege perpetuated by kidnappers, bandits and rustlers in some areas of the state. Governor Aminu Bello Masari had some days ago lamented that the state was under siege by kidnappers, bandits and rustlers. This had led to the constitution of a high powered committee involving all stakeholders from affected councils, and heads of security agencies in the state, to ensure lasting solutions to the menace. The situation had also seen the Inspector General of Police, Idris Ibrahim been ordered to deploy additional police units and Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC) to the state. Efforts to get the reaction of the state police command proved abortive as calls and text message to it’s spokesman, SP Gambo Isah went unanswered.
magoo10: Apc have turned their campaign grouds to killing field, yesterday it was one agbero in Lagos today it is katsina Buhari's home state. Destruction and confusion awaits the scam party
LegendHer0: Children of hate have been gallivanting all over Nairaland shouting Tinubu hand is clipped just because of the toothless court case against Oshiomhole. Now Ajimobi, another member of the Tinubu caucus might eventually be the acting chairman of APC pending the time the appeal court decides Oshiomhole case. I’m 100% sure that Oshiomhole is going no where, he will still retain his chairmanship position and Obaseki is just venturing onto a fruitless cause. Now they have cut short the orgasm of these Tinubu haters by this news. Nigeria Tribune why nao?
Why waste time hating on someone who hates himself in a wholesome manner? Na so you dey waste ya own time
Freegift75: Code Of Conduct Tribunal Freed Bola Tinubu In Error – Rotimi Jacobs . . . Rotimi Jacobs, a senior advocate of Nigeria and the Federal Government prosecuting counsel in the 13 count charge of false assets declaration trial of Senate President Bukola Saraki on Thursday said the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) was misled to discharge former Governor of Lagos State Bola Ahmed Tinubu when he was arraigned before it in November 2011.
daewoorazer: Stop showing ur stupidity to the world... As you wey be concerned Nigerian, how about you go tackle buhari, do just 1% of what Sowore did and let’s see how buhari will teach your papa ass lesson as he failed to buy condom which would have rid our community a retárd like yourself
daewoorazer: It’s a pity your demented brain cannot comprehend logical deductions...what does being a Nigerian has to do with the fact that this shithole is doomed? Arindin
Timil: Chap... the dude is stating the obvious. Nigeria is doomed and beyond repair.
That was not my issue, irrespective of whether that is absolutely true or not. He said "wetin concern me" as if he is not a Nigerian. Does that make sense
Timil: This party is unserious, how would you make another blabber mouth your acting chairman. There's no much difference between constituted authority and oshiomole.
This crisis will finally make the Alliance of Past/Present Crooks, APC deliver their promises to our jobless youths whom barawo bubu turned around to call lazy.
Iyiataata92: This is to show that Oshiomole has truly been decimated. This were part of the grievances of the members that sued him. His refusal to inaugurate the new officers. And with this inauguration, Oshiomole has lost it all. Even if the court reinstates him, the party will impeach him
Woke up with strength and vigour this morning and was up to face today with all hopes and aspirations but was sad & almost started crying after watching this video.
I've been an advocate of leaders been strong at all time with will power to carry out leadership responsibilities. And that emotional leaders don't go far but certainly not this way.
In leadership and governance, there's a place for 'Human face' no matter the circumstances. Widows to the best of my knowledge are integral part of our society and if we don't apply human face when dealing with them, am afraid we are far from getting there as a people.
Two wrongs indeed can never make things right and as such, can't fathom why the Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams A. O. will treat this widow like this and even tell her to go and die when she's struggling to provide food for her family. I think it would've been far better to make her pay a fine for her wrong doing than this humiliation.
ProWalker: Nigeria can’t survive with this sort of open nepotism by this president
Does he care? He and his Fulani co-travelers know they have all other ethnic nationalities on lock down in the slave dungeon of crumbs with the many traitors we call leaders looters in the south west, south east, south south and the middle belt.
Cherez: I agree with you but read up the arguments of most SW people here; first it's Igbos who are against the bill even leaving out the northerner and excluding the Delta narrative they bear when they wanna say some part of SS isn't SE.
One should not join the senseless, mud-loving crowd in their shenanigans. Many think I am not Yoruba because I don't join the herd mentality but focus on governance matters that is better when we have autonomous regions as was the case before January 1966.
yeyeosoronga: You have a very valid point. Every region should have their own commission, and funding should come from a percentage of whatever they contribute to the center.
Why should their money go to the centre first before it returns to them? What is the logic behind such a circuitous journey of Israelites in the wilderness
Perhaps, that will make every state to sit up, and not just continue to wait for handouts from the center. But most Importantly, we have to start holding our leaders accountable to us, and every kobo spent must be accounted for.
If the money first goes to the centre before returning to the source in the region, will that enhance or endanger the control and accountability that you rightly wish for?
northvietnam: I just love these new politicians from south west... they don’t ass lick the Caliphate , then no send any son of a bitch from north side... Only if Tinubu and Obj was like them
Thiefnuibu cannot as he thinks he will be allowed to be president by the owners of Naijeriya in 2023. He did not learn from Afonja, Akintola, Awolowo, Abiola, Azikiwe etc who were used and dumped by the Caliphate.
