TheMan3: Mr President, Nigerians are known all over the world as hard working, innovative and productive people. Take an average Nigerian out of Nigeria and see how productive he becomes.
Stop shifting the responsibility on the citizens telling them to be more productive. Have you done your part?? Is this how a country should be??
It seems that you have not know his style since 1983.
Umartins1: Ajimobi’s Daughter Labels Protesting LAUTECH Students “Generation Of Mannerless Students” On Instagram
Ajibola, the second child of the Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has joined her father in lambasting students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho in Oyo State, who staged a protest over the continued closure of their school. The school is jointly owned by the Oyo and Osun State Governments and had been shut for about eight months. The students took their protest to the Governor’s Office in Agodi, Ibadan, where Ajimobi addressed them, using what many have termed uncouth language.
Ajibola’s father told the students that they lacked manners for not respecting constituted authority. He said he remains the constituted authority in their case.
The video footage from the students’ encounter with Governor Ajimobi, courtesy of Sahara Reporters Television, can be found below.
However, apparently in anger following the booing and jeering of her father, Ajibola took to social media network, Instagram, to further lambast the students.
Ajibola, with the name: conceited_csj, wrote: “Generation of mannerless children, they don’t respect their parents, how will they respect the constitution.”
Reactions, have however started trailing the comment by Ajibola, with the response by Bernibeth saying: “Who is this animal again?”

FIXED. Even his daughter is as useless as her father. Bunch of educated illiterates.

JustCurious: It was Darey Art Alade who did bring this to the attention of the government via a viral post three days ago. I am wondering why his name wasn't mentioned.
He did a good job with that post. Thank you, Darey. Thank you, LASG.
It is great to see our celebrities step up and lend their big presence in the public space to community matters. Let us hope that we will see more of such.
mulante: One thing about government is that when it says it is not doing something, it is doing exactly that thing it says it is not doing.
When it says it is doing something, it is not doing anything about that thing it says it is doing.
This is even more true when the herald of such information is Mr. Lie. I have never seen anyone more aptly named.
They are just exhibiting the CHANGE that they promised. Simple. Thanks to the sponsors of Barawo bubu and his Alliance of Past/Present Crooks, APC. They are reaping the harvest of what they sowed.
nuban07: If not for our backwardness, why will they be removing a man hole cover, something that can lead to a major accident or we now need security to be watching over man hole cover again
No, we don't need security. All we need are prayers.
jwillng: Havnt been everywhere in America-but I have visited at least 10 states. This place is the best in the world o! My research (and I have done a lot of research) showed me that most if not all Americans who are considered poor are poor by choice. And even what is considered poor in America is well to do in 90% of the world.
A poor American gets the following:
i) Up to $800 or more welfare like food coupons ii) Subsidized housing. I meet a girl who is paying $100 for an apartment that is normally $800. All the government asks of her is to pay her electricity bill and not fight. iii) Almost Free health care . By just going to the emergency room-hospitals must treat anyone and bill later. Bills that they may never pay. iv) 24 hours power supply (that is gold in Nigeria). v) 24 hours pipe borne water. vi) Constant security provided by the best Police Forces in the world. All you have to do is call 911-no need to bribe or beg oga police.
Many who are poor choose to remain like that so that they can collect free benefits. If they decide to work-they will loose these benefits. Many of them also keep having children so they can claim benefits.
If you have a goal or dream to be wealthy and successful-of course that is not the life one would choose. But for many-there only dream is to become rap stars-not knowing that for every Lil Wayne-there are 20,000 others who are just rapping on the street-no album, no deals, no money for their rap.
All the places you have mentioned have more infrastructure and facilities than VGC and Ikoyi (24 Hour light and water), good roads, security. How can that be bad?
The same is true for communities, societies and countries- those groups that are poor are poor by choice.
naptu2: The Lagos State Government is currently replacing manhole covers across the state and they replaced the missing manhole covers on Eko Bridge yesterday. The question is, how will they ensure that these new covers are not stolen?
Education for everyone and enlightenment on civic responsibilities consistently coupled with exemplary behaviour by the leaders - religious & political. If China and Singapore can change the crude behaviour of their people, why not us? India is also on its way doing the same thing.
Cutezt: Victims of last week's fulani herds men attack on Kwatas community, Bokos local government area of Plateau State were buried amidst tears today.

sixtuschimere: According to a social media user who shared the photos before PDP confirmed it, the multi billion mansion of Edo state governor Adams Oshiomhole will blow your mind. The palatial mansion has lion's den,French bridge,French Lounge, artificial lake and more.Below is what he wrote....

Woke up with strength and vigour this morning and was up to face today with all hopes and aspirations but was sad & almost started crying after watching this video.
I've been an advocate of leaders been strong at all time with will power to carry out leadership responsibilities. And that emotional leaders don't go far but certainly not this way.
In leadership and governance, there's a place for 'Human face' no matter the circumstances. Widows to the best of my knowledge are integral part of our society and if we don't apply human face when dealing with them, am afraid we are far from getting there as a people.
Two wrongs indeed can never make things right and as such, can't fathom why the Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams A. O. will treat this widow like this and even tell her to go and die when she's struggling to provide food for her family. I think it would've been far better to make her pay a fine for her wrong doing than this humiliation.
naaija: The governor warned Oshiomhole to desist from his provocative activities or he may be forced, as governor, to invoke his powers to deal with him pointing that the national chairman would not condone a fraction of his misdemeanor when he was the governor of the state.
Talkers do nothing. He should talk less and do more otherwise he will be Ambode'd.
dman4mdmoon: This is exactly how things are done. There must be planning and consultation. Every stakeholder must be carried along. You don't put the cart before the horse. I am a Yoruba man and I subscribe to the idea of having regional security outfit to protect the region, but for me, what the south west governors did was a kangaroo arrangement. There must be proper planning like the south east governors are doing.
South-west governors to donate 100 patrol vehicles to regional security outfit October 08, 2019
Governors of states in the south-west will donate 100 patrol vehicles to a proposed joint security outfit for the region.
In a statement issued on Monday, Dapo Abiodun, governor of Ogun state, said each of the six states in the region will donate 20 vehicles, communication gadgets and personnel for the security outfit named Amotekun.
In July, the governors of Ondo, Ogun, Osun, Ekiti, Lagos and Oyo set up the joint task force to contain the security threats in the region.
In August, the office of the national security adviser (NSA) granted approval for the outfit.
Report: South-west governors finalise plans to float regional security outfit August 26, 2019
Governors from the south-west states have obtained an approval from the office of the national security adviser (NSA) to set up a regional security outfit.
According to The Nation, the approval will birth a joint task force code-named Western Nigeria Security Network (WNSN) to tackle insecurity in the region.
The six governors met twice in June at Ibadan, Oyo state capital, and July at Akure, Ondo state capital, under the coordination of the Development Agenda of Western Nigeria (DAWN), to draw up new strategies to curb the rising insecurity.
Rotimi Akeredolu, chairman of the South-West Governors’ Forum, had told journalists after the meeting in Ibadan that the security architecture of the region would change from August.
In preparation for the inauguration of the security outfit by October, the governors have reportedly purchased patrol vans to be used by each state.
The security outfit, which is reported to comprise local hunters and members of the O’odua Peoples Congress (OPC), has a team that will coordinate intelligence gathering.
The operatives are to monitor neighborhood activities and also comb forests in the region.
Members of the team are also expected to work with traditional rulers and other security outfits in order to ensure they work within the ambit of the law for effective operations.
Speaking earlier in the month, Dapo Abiodun, governor of Ogun state, had said the joint security team would patrol major roads and provide adequate security for residents of the region.
There has been a growing clamour for state police following the high rate of insecurity in the region and other parts of the country.
Among the high cases of insecurity in the region this year are the murder of Funke Olakurin, daughter of Reuben Fasoranti, Afenifere leader, in Ondo; abduction of Yinka Adegbehingbe, a professor at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, in Osun and kidnap of five ministers of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
The governors met with President Muhammadu Buhari in June after a presidential panel on human rights abuses by special anti-robbery squad (SARS) recommended the establishment of state and local government police, but the governors did not reach an agreement on the matter.
Ogun, Oyo, Ondo, Ekiti, Osun and Lagos are the states in the south-west region.
