Any believer knows the will of God always surpasses our own will. No matter how we struggle to change the course of action, the will of God will eventually prevail. Christians surrender to the will of their own God, Muslims surrender to the will of their own God, Hindis surrender to the will of their own God, etc.

Curiosity has led to me ask; “how do we know the will of God?” Is it that we realize it is the will of god when we can’t help the situation or there is always some amount of revelations along the line that would make us retreat and surrender to the will of God?
My questions raised above might sound crazy to some but may sound intelligent to others. Today, I followed a good number believers to know how the will of God is revealed and they told me how they know when it the will of god.

The first person I encountered told me that if it is not the will of God, the incident would have started in the first place. Another person told me it is the will of god when you look round and you can’t find a solution to the situation.

And then again, the response of the first person struck me and inspired this article. I went further to ask him if he usually pray for a change of situation which he assured me that there is nothing you can achieve without prayers. I came up with a case study, I asked him “Assuming your car is parked at one corner and all of a sudden, it started rolling with no human or any external force acting on it, would you let it roll till it stops since it wouldn’t have started if it not the will of God”. He quickly resorted “the will of God cannot come in such manner, that is Satan at work”. I was short of words.

I reasoned since nothing happens without God approving of it, it is only rational to think that the car started rolling on the approval God hence, it should be allowed to role since we all encourage the will of God to trump every other will.
After my investigation, I came to realize that human always look for an excuse for their incapacitations, instead of growing the courage to admit s/he has his/her hands tied, s/he would attribute it to the will of god.

During my investigation, I realized nobody really give a hoot about the will of God. We are only shy to accept our limitations. My study revealed that if somebody’s store is on fire and he tries to put out the fire, and God appears at the scene, telling the person to let it burn that it is his will that the store burns, such person would quickly label God an evil for force, Satan. He would say that is Satan speaking not God. The hypocrisy in accepting the will of God is just our way of submitting to our inability to keep the situation under control.

If a believer’s child is sick and at the point of death, I bet everything in me, that the believer would never accept as the will of God, the death of his child when there is an affordable treatment for the situation even if God appears to the believer to inform him of his will to have the child die.
In conclusion, before you submit to the will of God, first ask yourself if you would accept the will God if there was a solution and God says to you to leave the solution and allow the disaster that it is his will.

I was in a relationship for over 4 years and finally ended it less than 3 months back. What happened? That I don't bow to any god. I was living dead. I wouldn't post anything I like because it may offend her yet she was never okay with. I asked her how she developed her faith in god if she has never put her faith to work That I should be a good test of her faith. That this is the time she should pray for me since she is so convinced that there is nothing impossible for god. She said everything is possible for god but not this type. Obviously, everything is possible for god as long it is something can she is sure she can do but once she can't do it and the thing doesn't have 50/50 chance of happening, then it will become putting god to test.

Poster, if you need peace, end that relationship. If you continue, you will continue living in misery.

This is about a million times I am coming across people wondering what will happen to them when they are no more (dead). A lot of people I have met dread death so much that they would give anything to live forever. Albeit the inevitable nature of death.

I am not in to sugar-coat words here. The blunt truth is that we all will die. But then, there is this question of shall we all live? The answer is obvious. It is not everybody that is living that is alive. I remember a quote that goes this way; “we have added years to our lives but not life to our years”.

We are driven by our competitive environments. Through sciences, we have increased our live span. But what does it mean to be alive while living and to be dead while living? A lot of us lack the inner joy of life. These group of people merely exist. Some of them are even in the class of people we consider successful and made. We have traded happiness for competition.

If you cannot leave this article with anything leave with this; “life is not a competition”. Some people may ask ‘what of the struggle for survival?’. The struggle for survival is not a competition as well. When I say life is not a competition I refer to assumed rivalry among some people. Thinking that you are not meeting up like your colleagues that you graduated from the same college with.

Take for instance, somebody that finds joy in teaching but because his friends are making lots of money in the big industries, and trying not to be looked down on, decided to jettison his teaching career to make money just like his friends. At the end, such person keeps experiencing this emptiness within that the thought of death is so dreadful that he starts scrambling for how to add more years to his life, but the years you already have have no life in them. This is the type of person that live without being alive.

Millions of people have merely existed and passed through our planet without ever being alive. Look inward and search yourself. There is something you yearn for from within. Follow your path. Don’t be swallowed in jealous of what others are doing in other professions. Don’t be attracted to only the money, but find joy in what you choose to do. If you are unhappy in your profession, you need a rethink. Every minute of our life counts. Don’t add to the number of those who would beg for more time to be added to their life only to repeat the same lifestyle when that time is given.

The moment you have fulfilled your purpose in life, death is then the ultimate satisfaction. But when you find yourself in the wrong field, fulfilling your purpose becomes near impossible, and so, death becomes the most dreadful.

Life in spirit Heaven
Christians differ on what Heaven will be like. Some say, we will have our bodies restored to their peak condition and it will be like life on Earth... There are many problems with this idea but I want to think about second idea of Heaven, the idea that we (well, not me) will live in Heaven as spirits.

What will life be like as a spirit, I wonder? Without a body there will be no food or drink, no sex, no hugs, no beautiful women or handsome men.

You won't have senses which rely on physical organs and nerves so you will be in the dark, in silence, without smells, the sensation of touch or the taste of food—you won't even know which way up you are (and it won't matter because spirits don't have a right-way-up).

Will you be able to think? I don't think so—we know thinking occurs in a physical brain and you won't have one. You won't have memories either as these too, are stored in your physical brain.

And how would you be able to communicate with your fellow spirits (even if you could find them) with no sense organs and no brain to understand what they want to tell you?

How will you even know you are alive? You won't. And THAT will be a blessing; for to live like this forever and to be aware of the darkness and silence would not be Heaven—it would be the most intolerable Hell.

Spirit Heaven is a spectacularly stupid idea. Yes, you have to be epistemologically challenged to believe God is real, but it takes a special kind of dumb to believe spirit Heaven is real, and desirable.

I was so shocked when I noticed that the people are not collecting a dime for this service. I think this will help and improve the quality of students.
