Hello. Good afternoon everyone.
So my Redmi note 9S earpiece is having issues. When I'm on a call, I can't hear anything the caller is saying unless it's on speaker. Noticed it this Monday. There's no pending or recent update, the phone is always up to date.
Phone had a slight fall last week though, but there was no crack or anything that remotely suggests there was any damage from the fall, till I noticed the earpiece ish this week.
Please is there anyway to check if it's a software or hardware issue before taking the phone to phone engineers? Would really love to avoid having anyone open up the phone.
Please don't air me. Thank you �

Try to clean the earpiece grill with a soft brush. It could be clogged with dirt/lint. This worked for me when I had a similar experience sometime ago..........

Restore the thermostat and radiator fans back to factory settings after rebuilding or replacing the engine.

You can search for 'Remote Control for DSTV' app on Play store, it even works for GOTV. Enjoy.

If you are having battery issues after updating your firmware, go to storage and clear cache if you don't want to factory reset and lose your files. It works for me.

Hello guys, well done with the good job you all are doing here.
I currently have a notification of 9.5.9.0 update on my Redmi 5 Plus but the phone has been amazing so far. Battery life is exceptional and the UI is buttery smooth. I'm on 9.5.2.0.
Should I update? I'm particular about battery life and overall performance.

I just took delivery of a 1999 model Golf MK 4 with 1.4 16V Engine. What are the things to look out for as regards preventive maintenance and how reliable is the engine?
It's a 5-speed manual tranny.

. It's pretty scarce in my area. If only I can download the map folder via ovi or better still if u can email me the map folder for just Nigeria. The pre-loaded maps were for 70 countries but I don't really need all of them apart from d one for Naija sad

Nokia Care:
Make a back up with Ovi suite including applications, with a similar memory card (working) inside.
Put your original memory card back in phone and restore using OVI.
Restart phone and try updating maps from OVI.

Well done Nokia care & Amasha. After 2weeks of using the maps on my 2710 navigation edition (imei 358294032286954) which has a free lifetime licence, d preinstalled Maps folder became empty, hence i cld no longer use d GPS/NAVIGATION function. All attempts to get another map folder using map loader & ovi suite have been in vain as they keep telling me that my fone came preinstalled with Maps each time i select my device! Now that d folder is empty/lost, what can i do? I tried transfering from a similar device bt i cldn't find it either, pls help. God bless u

hey guyz, i'd reaaly appreciate any useful info on how i can restore the pre-installed maps on my 2710 navi. the phone fell on the floor and the shock must have affected the memory card cos i lost most of the file on it including the pre-installed maps. thanx in advance.
