Not when he is a Nigeria Citizen. That is why he is being prosecuted here. He is far more a Nigerian that UK.

You are the one allowing your imaginations to run wild - that Nnamdi Kanu can commit treason against Nigeria, float our laws and get away with unhurt.
Stop running from pillar to post, you were the one who mentioned coming to nigeria illegally without a passport. You see him as a foreigner, so you can deport him instead of breaking your own laws. I'm sure even you illiterate buhari is not aware of the immigration law.
CultureRe: Igbos Land Grabbing Philosophy by anticabal1: 2:47am On Jan 02, 2016
vicadex07:
If the Yoruba is not careful, say like about 70 or more years to this time, the Igbos highly populated in many areas of Lagos like alaba and so on will claim to be indigenous members of those places cos many generations of their ancestors has spawned their. They already have Nze Ndigbo, a local King installed in those places
to accomplish such purpose.

That their is the current predicament of the indegenous Niger delta people. Theirs was able to occur rapidly within a century due to their geographical proximity to Igbo people. Today we know the end result.

The only disadvantage that might hinder the Lagos land grabbing is the geographical location of it in the South West. If not Lagos would have been taken over too due to proximity just like rivers state, and parts of Edo, Benue state and some other SS states.
So who were the occupants of the ss before igbos "took over"? So you telling me the Aniomas of delta and Ndoki of rivers where not original occupant of our lands just like the ngwas of Abia and mbaises of Imo. you well at all?
PoliticsRe: There Are Igbos In South South- Buhari by anticabal1: 2:39am On Jan 02, 2016
vicadex07:
Are there not tens of millions of Igbos in the SouthWest?

Are there not millions of Igbo even in the North?

So is it safe to say those places are both part of your Biafra too. According to your logic, I guess so.

Am not surprised anyway, due to your teaming numbers in the South west, Lagos to be specific, you're already claiming it to be no mans land.

That there is the evidence of the greed and the filth that is Igbos. They naturally have limited land resources but due to their gradually explosive population, they always develop the habit of populating strangers land and then when they have the numbers, decide to overtake the economic and political structure of the ancestral lands of their hosts.

They have already overtaken the Niger Delta economically and Politically, hence why they don't need to argue about the fact but usually flaunt it in front of the indegenes of those places how powerful they are.

They have partly taken over Lagos economically and were aiming to also do so politically by supporting PDP enmasse during the last elections not until Yorubas realised their endgames albeit almost a bit late and then reversed the equation. I don't need to inform you all about the Oba Akionlu saga.

Igbos are simply greedy. They can't help it sod its ingrained in their DNA.
What is this one really saying. wetin concern yoruba for this matter now.

1. I totally disagree on this portion above.

2. Neither the DSS or the President has committed any offense by Re-Arresting Kanu on fresh charges. It is as legal as Kanu being a UK citizen.

3. No court has free or acquitted Kanu of the offenses he has been accused of.

4. Finally when we are done with Kanu, Nigeria's National Anthem will be his favorite song.

Bonus, Kanu will go to jail. If not for anything, it will be for coming into Nigeria illegally despite having 2 international passports.

So OP, don't start crying yet - because after playing him the Reggae, Nigeria will still force Kanu to dance the Blues as well.
Your immigration law say you deport any person who comes to your country illegally after a stipulated holding time of 7 days. you guys just sit and write down your imagination as law.

OfoIgbo:
The only correction I will give in this very intelligent summary of the OP, is that Bonny is NOT ijawland.
The first settlers there were Igbos from Abia state.
Bonny is the anglicised version for UBANI and their royal family till date remains Igbo, even though he is referred to as Amanyanabo, but that should not throw you afterall there are Igbo traditional rulers that are addressed as OBA.
Igbos are good at adapting to neighbouring communities. Even Europeans who visited Bonny in the 1850s attested to the fact that Bonny's first inhabitants were Igbos, and that Ijaws came there as artisans much later on
When i said it that on Ugomba's thread, they claimed i was lying. Before Ijaws sailed ashore, Igbo, Efiks, Ibibios have been living on the land bordering the atlantic.

I think liar mohammed and his cronies are testing waters to gauage the possible acceptability of a pesudo-dictatorship where the constitution can be suspended so that Buhari can unilaterally hang or jail his perceived detractors. His lack of respect for the judiciary has made him a laughing stock among the comity of nations.

Suspending the constitution will gave him the leverage that he craves for but first they must guage feelings by testing waters on the social media.

The commander in chief needs kanu's head on a plate and he will get it. All you can do is rant online and get shot if u decide to have street protest. Remember Idi Amin's quote; " you have freedom of speech but freedom after speech I cannot guarantee"

Kanu used his freedom of speech stupidly and it's time to pay for his so called bravery

Eastlink from his write-up i can deduce that within the Ekpeye ethnicity there are elements who stand on the Igbo side. The ones on the Igbo side take their stand primarily as a result of their historical connections with Igboland.

I believe that that is the same situation with some few Ikwerres maybe from Elele, Isiokpo and Igwuruta who due to historical reasons will side with Igboland.

This set of people are a minority.

Either way I think he should just take Fayose's advice and close down the courts. Period. Let him be the jury, the judge etc.

I used to think an accused is innocent until proven guilty at the court of law. With the president doubling as the judge, jury and executioner, an accused is guilty until proven guilty at all costs undecided
I have said it before, let Buhari close down the courts since they of no use, so we know we are in a full jackboot regime.

@anticabal1. After reading through your post here, it actually dawned on me that you don't possibly know the gravity of the offence allegedly committed by Kanu. I won't waste my time explaining here..You can ask anybody with a clarity of thought whether somebody who surreptitiously came into the country was not quilty of a crime. And not only that he came in with 'sophisticated equipments' mark the words by the president, which in a broader sense might be interpreted in a law court as equipments for espionage activities in order to relay or disseminate information about the strenght and weaknesses of sensitive security matters to an enemy. Even when his antecedent of not only running a pirate radio is tendered in evidence and all seditious publications are considered, then it would dawn on most of you that a political solution instead of media propaganda would have helped.
You zombies keep shouting gravity!, gravity! and the court keep telling you he is innocent! he is innocent! Are you going to be the judge and the prosecutor at the same time? Did kanu bribe the judges? He came with radio transmitters, how that amounts to treason only in your daura brains is beyond me.

Of course nature will take it's course. Buhari won't leave the seat in 2019 without dealing with some yoruba leaders like he did to awo by seizing his passport to travel for medicals which hastened his death.
No fulani despot have left power without jackbooting one or two yoruba leaders. They have short memories.

PoliticsRe: Southwest Myopia: A Case Of The Frog In Water. by anticabal1:

To further elaborate on the collective myopia and lab frog state of the SW; it is only the SW that is oblivious of the slow burning of this country.
There has been effectively a war in the northeast for 6 yrs now and a slow genocide is currently on going in the middle-belt.

Every other people in the south other than the Yorubas are worried about what is going on in the country. The yorubas like that fat frog sitting in that lukewarm water that is slowly being heated up, does not feel concerned because they are oblivious to what is going on.

So when they scream one Nijeriya I am usually dumbfounded at what they are talking about.

The frog theory has been used by the north against the SW in the past.

MKO Abiola was a fat frog that was slowly lured by the north only for him to end up boiled.

Tinubu another frog is oblivious of the north scheming him out and by extension the entire southwest.

The SW frogs are also not bothered with Buhari's lopsided appointments which is obviously leaning to the north.
Most yorubas i know are already tired of the govt. A family friend who is yoruba and retired from the NPA usually get his pension on 28th of every month during GEJ's time yet he was rabidly anti-GEJ and pro-Buhari.

Today he's carrying placards everyday at NPA office and asking buhari to pay them their pensions which has been suspended TILL FURTHER NOTICE. He now hates hearing about Buhari.
Only the e-yorubas here are pretending that all is well, majority are paid posters on lai mohammed's payroll.

Let me tell you a secret. There are many politicians in the east who actually want to decamp to APC but they fear one thing-Radio Biafra.
That radio have demonized APC beyond repair as an hausa-fulani party of oppresors. Ask rochas what he suffers and why he is no longer vocal as he use to be.
Ask Obiano why he has been itching to decamp to APC but can not because of his second tenure which IPOB can easily destroy. In rivers, APC headquater is like an abandoned poultry house.

APC will have to prove to the east that they mean no harm to the East, Buhari's statement and actions is not helping the party either in the East.

I don't think APGA will do a collabo with APC in the nearest future, not after they got burned in the last one with PDP and not with IPOB and that FM radio Biafra still blasting away. APGA will stand where they stand to save their reputation. Nobody wants to be seen as an okoroawusa in the East. my ten pence

I have also been thinking in that direction on why Kanu's case is being lumped together with Dasuki's. It maybe a sinister plot to create confusion in the minds of people who may not be familiar with the activism of Kanu and what he stands for.
Part of the motive maybe to make it seem like Kanu looted the fund meant to wage war against Boko Haram or that he has a share in Dansuki's loot.
Whichever even the recent arrangement of hotel witnesses against Kanu looks childish and probably adds no substance to the case against him. It merely adds more drama to the entertainment industry.
The president can only fool himself if thinks that kanu's activism can not be extricated from Dasuki's fraud case. Why he lumps them together is not because of activism or fraud per se. It is because Dasuki help to overthrow him in the coup that removed his jackboot government in the 80s and kanu on the other hand called him "a pedophile and a terrorist". Any other thing is superficial and just an excuse to detain them.

Go and ask your sultan if he feels comfortable with killing kanu. It's not bragadacio and it's not empty threat. It is clear that killing kanu will be seen as a slap on over 60 million pro-Biafrans worldwide. Will 60 million people take that collective insult from 10 million almajiri fulanis lying low? I don't think so.

This no be yoruba matter oga. Activist Kanu's death will usher in a redefinition of the geographic expression called nigeria, we both know that.

PoliticsThe Association Between Dasuki And Kanu by anticabal1(op):
I have noticed with disdain that Buhari and his Apc co-travellers now find it convenient to lump Kanu (a respected freedom fighter and activist) and Dasuki (an allegedly corrupt security chief) together in his fight against them.

Buhari conveniently spoke on the two lumping them together as if they commited the same crimes and exclaiming 'if you see the crimes these two people commited" and i ask why lumping Kanu and dasuki together? Are they charged for similar crimes? Was kanu a former nigerian corrupt official?

While i can't hold brief for dasuki, (i really don't fancy nigerian politicians in whatever form they may come), i will tell you why Buhari is trying to paint kanu with the same brush he painted dasuki.

The only similarity between them is that they once insulted buhari nothing more;

-Dasuki played a key role in overthrowing him in the 80s. Which he has not forgotten.

-Kanu called him a "pedophile and a terrorist".

These watered the common ground for which buhari hates them passionately, any other thing is superficial.

Buhari can keep promoting his feelings over the Judiciary because as history has taught us dictators don't live forever. They are mere mortals like the rest of us. Some even closer to their graves than the rest of us by natural order. Killing or hanging Activist kanu will not end Biafra according to Wole soyinka.

Thank you all for reading.
