The matters are difficult because we live in difficult times but buhari would really have to take a long thought on the matter.

What should be banned?

Since bh would easily move from using the hijab to other clothing, so the question remains what or when will the banning stop? Maybe until we walk uncloth. The problem is really not hijab but how we identify potential attackers and detecting bomb. We should remember suicide bombing has been mostly undertaken by men. Do we ban bags? Big skirts? Etc as a solution banning the hijab is very pedestrian because it fails to take a more holistics look on the matter and attributes cause to the wrong sources.

Implementation: the how?

How do we intend to implement such ban? Arrest and demand fines? I suspect we would face wide violations of such law, if the violators in a single day runs into 1000s do we have the capacity to arrest so many people talk more of compelling them to pay? This would once again lead to isolating individuals and civilians who would be key to winning the war.

The Way forward

The solutions maybe include more of persuasions rather than banning, Improved system of detecting would be suicide bombers, preaching about the unacceptabiity of suicide bombing, deploying bomb detectors in public places, restrict availability of bomb making materials etc

The solutions requires more of critical analytical thinking rather than hysteria and panic measures. Banning the hijab in a region mainly muslim will hand bh a strong propaganda tool, we should be wary of such.

If anybody comes out to protest the ban on hijab, they should be shot to pieces. We are in a dictatorship, let's all grind it out together!

I will like to say on the following fact, someone take note as it may help him or her get the basics.

1) Igbo's are not the only ethnic group in SE
2) SE is a region and never an ethnic group.
3) some states can be reoriented into other existing region as you have seen in the case of delta and Edo, they have been Midwest but was later lumped into SS.
4. Cross-river is more east than it is south, if need be part of cross river can be split to make up the 6 States of the present SE region. While calabar will remain regarded as being in SS
5. Regions must not split itself to create manageable States.
6. Part of an existing States from another region can make up another region as was done in kwara state.
7. If SE region is mid SE then rivers state should be part of the region without bias.

With more observation and investigation I can go on and on

Meanwhile, With this limited fact shown above, I will authoritatively say that SE region is still being marginalised in terms of state creation.


Also saying that a lifespan of road in SE region is low to compare to any other region when equal attention is given to it, is the height of hypocrisy, mediocrity and hence a baseless fact that can never be justified.

If you are sure of this, then let the number of roads being rehabilitated in northern region be applied same to SE region let's see how region will fair less than the other region.

SE has little or no federal presence in her roads that's a fact. And SE doesn't end in Onitsha or Anambra other hinterlands are also involved.

The op actually lied about the road part. The reason why the north has better road is because of the low population density compared to the SE. The pressure on Onitsha-owerri road is higher than that of abuja to keffi or even arid desert kano-kaduna.

Another testament that the East is more populated than the north as against their fraudelent census figures and therefore needs greater attention.
