Remember what happened on October 10 2020. Remember the day that Nigeria murdered her citizens and denied it. What a shameful fact that Nigeria is not the issue but the Northern leadership is cruel. Not crticizing the North, but none of their sons has ruled the nation without corruption. Why not try the South East and the game will change from bad to good. Mr Obi says Nigerians want a president who will secure lives and property; make the country productive; pull the citizens out of poverty, among other capabilities.Peter Obi Peter Obi Nigeria needs “problem solver” as president, not consensus candidate – Peter Obi Mr Obi says Nigerians want a president who will secure lives and property; make the country productive; pull the citizens out of poverty, among other capabilities. ByAgency Report April 19, 2022 1 min read Nigerians should stop looking for consensus candidates and look for “problem solvers’’ as presidential materials for 2023. Peter Obi, Labour Party’s (LP) presidential aspirant, made the declaration at Abakaliki on Tuesday, while addressing journalists during his consultations with PDP faithful in Ebonyi State. “Nigerians want a person who will start solving the myriad of problems facing the country. “They want someone who will secure lives and property; make the country productive; pull the citizens out of poverty, among other capabilities. “This is not an issue of delegates because those with large numbers of delegates are still affected by the nation’s problems,’’ he said. Mr Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, was running mate to Atiku Abubakar on the platform of the PDP at the 2019 presidential election. Mr Abubakar has also indicated interest to run in the 2023 race. The former governor stressed that the sentiment of consensus candidates should not be brought to the front burner at this time in the nation’s political history. He said the geo-political zone of a candidate should not also amount to much as “what Nigeria needs is to salvage the country. “It is important to consider where people come from in a diverse country such as ours for equity’s sake.he said. Do you think IP (Internet Protocol) addresses as an item within the network? No, it is something that is outside of the network leading it. The word “protocol” demonstrates the rules and regulations that are essentially followed while utilizing the network & internet. IP ADDRESS FINDER TOOL Everyone who uses the network has distinguished IP numbers allocated to them. Millions of e-devices connect folks. And every mobile, laptop, tablet, etc. have an IP address uniquely that is not your IP address. But it is your device/machine’s recognizing factor.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk ignited a firestorm on social media by suggesting that he might die "under mysterious circumstances." While some on Twitter rushed to the conclusion that he might fear the Clintons, it seems the CEO may have been referencing a potential threat from Russia. "If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowin ya," Musk, who is also the CEO of SpaceX and who recently acquired Twitter, posted on the social media platform. SOURCE When Musk's mother Maye Musk responded, "That's not funny," her son replied, "Sorry! I will do my best to stay alive." Many commentators suggested that Musk might be afraid of former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, playing off of the conspiracy theory that the Clintons were involved in Jeffrey Epstein's suicide. "Do you have dirt on the Clintons?" digital strategist Greg Price asked. "Wait… what do you know about Hillary Clinton?" comedian Tim Young asked. "The Clintons" began trending on Twitter, in part due to Musk's tweet, which garnered more than 52,000 "retweets" Sunday night. Others referenced a tweet from John McAfee on Oct. 15, 2020, in which the computer programmer and anti-virus software producer stated that he had no intentions of committing suicide after he was arrested in Spain on tax evasion charges. "I am content in here. I have friends. The food is good. All is well. Know that if I hang myself, a la Epstein, it will be no fault of mine," McAfee tweeted. McAfee was found dead on June 23, 2021, of apparent suicide by hanging in his cell shortly after the Spanish National Court authorized his extradition to the U.S. Yet unlike McAfee and Epstein, Musk has not been arrested and is not in prison. From context, it seems Musk was not referring to the Clintons as a potential threat to his life, but rather the Russian government. Shortly before his cryptic tweet, the Tesla CEO cited a message from Dmitry Rogozin, a former deputy prime minister of Russia, who sent a statement to Russian media condemning Musk's Starlink satellite company for enabling the "Nazi Azov Battalion" to access the internet. "From the testimony of the captured commander of the 35th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Dmitry Kormyankov, it turns out that the internet terminals of Elon Musk's Starlink satellite company were delivered to the militants of the Nazi Azov Battalion and the Ukrainian Marines in Mariupol by military helicopters," Rogozin wrote, according to a translation Musk posted on Twitter. "According to our information, the delivery of the Starlink equipment was carried out by the Pentagon," Rogozin added. "Elon Musk, thus, is involved in supplying the fascist forces in Ukraine with military communication equipment. And for this, Elon, you will be held accountable like an adult – no matter how much you'll play the fool." "The word ‘Nazi’ doesn't mean what he seems to think it does," Musk tweeted with the message. Musk's Starlink has indeed been connecting Ukrainians to the internet amid the Russian invasion. The Azov Battalion is a unit of the National Guard of Ukraine based in Mariupol in the region of the Sea of Azov. It first saw combat recapturing Mariupol from Russian forces and pro-Russian separatists in June 2014. Russia has repeatedly cited the battalion as justification for its invasion of Ukraine in a "denazification" effort (despite the fact that Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is Jewish).

It’s seriously affecting me now.” Olatunji is tired and exasperated because he hasn’t been paid his monthly salary since December. PAY ME NOW Nigeria has a culture of not paying workers and it’s not about to change anytime soon AP PHOTOS/SUNDAY ALAMBA “No pay, no work.” FROM OUR OBSESSION Nigeria Now Yemisi Adegoke By Yemisi Adegoke Published April 20, 2016Last updated June 6, 2019This article is more than 2 years old. Lagos, Nigeria Taiwo Olatunji is tired. Tired of waiting. Tired of excuses. Tired of not knowing exactly what he needs to do next. He’s been teaching high school financial accounting in Nigeria’s southwestern Osun state for the last decade. He enjoys his job and gets on with his colleagues. “I’m not angry,’’ he says. “But what we are experiencing now…if one is not careful it can lead to hypertension. It’s seriously affecting me now.” Olatunji is tired and exasperated because he hasn’t been paid his monthly salary since December. Last year, as many as 23 of Nigeria’s 36 states left their civil servants unpaid for months on end. Last year, it was reported up to 23 states of Nigeria’s 36 states left their civil servants unpaid for months on end. Olatunji, 57, was one of them. After being owed his salary for eight months, he received half payments for the rest of 2015. Even after the federal government agreed to help out the indebted states with a 338 billion Naira ($170 million) pay-out to resolve the matter, Olatunji has yet to receive a single pay cheque this year. “They [the Osun state government] have asked us to submit our documents [for verification],” he says. “I have submitted them four times but they keep asking us to come back. It’s just another way to keep delaying us. If the funds aren’t there, they should just tell us, for how long will it go on?” Although there are no concrete statistics on the issue of salary delay in Nigeria it is not uncommon for employees in the public sector to be owed their salaries by the government.Thousands of school teachers, nurses and other civil servants are forced to turn to other private means of earning a living to survive doing everything from taxi driving to petty trading. This ends up leaving many state-run schools and hospitals without qualified professionals in attendance which in turn makes parents and patients turn to private institutions they can barely afford. Explanations range from the non-existent to the hollow. Last year, thousands of government workers in Imo state went without their salaries for up to eight months, the exact reason was unclear and didn’t seem to matter much because it didn’t stop state governor Rochas Okorocha from, allegedly, spending 600 million naira on Christmas decorations for the state. Over in the oil-rich southeastern Bayelsa state, which former president Goodluck Jonathan governed from 2005 to 2007, the government hasn’t paid local civil servants for 10 months. The locals find this particularly galling given its relatively small population and large oil wealth which probably should mean paying workers shouldn’t really be a problem. |
Nigerian comedian, Debo Adedayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, has cleared the air on the wedding-themed photos he earlier shared with fellow skit maker, Kemi Ikuseedun, also known as Mummy Wa. Mr Macaroni had on April 23 and 24, shared wedding-themed pictures of himself and Mummy wa, who always acted as his wife in his skits. The pictures, however, caused a lot of uncertainties among his fans, as they wondered if it was a real wedding or a skit. But in a tweet on Tuesday, which is also Mr Macaroni’s birthday, the comedian noted that he wasn’t married to Mummy wa. The comedian who just turned 29 said this while thanking his fans for their wishes. He wrote, “Thank you all for your kind messages. 29 feels good! Confession: I’m not married ooo.”
