sandammy: always be optimistic. You're not the one to choose the subjects to answer. It has been programmed on the computer. Just login, click the combination you wanna answer and it will load. Bt i dnt av econs .i did eng,govt,crk,literature in jamb. Coz accordin 2 requiremnt eng,govt wit any othr social/art sbjct... So diz post jamb nw fit turn 2 gobe coz na d7 b my ecnos .bt i gt commerce a1...mayb ill remove d crk 4 commerce. |

sandammy: patience they say, is a great virtue. The sch will give u almost 3weeks or a month for your putme exam preparation. You can get the past questions by either buying it from the bookshop in the campus at the cost of 1000 or you wait for the putme to be available for sale which will be sold to you with the past questions booklet. Last year putme form and past question booklet was sold at the cost of 4700. The sch will notify u guys when it is available and where u can easily get it outside the sch campus. I got mine last year from the Post-office at secetariat in ibadan and was admitted for Political Science. Gud luck guys.hy, Pol.science my choice of course.pls wat shud i b xpecting in dier exam... Sm skuls dont set qustns on d subjcts one picks. Is lyk they av som particular set of qustns for each course. Pls enlighten me more on diz. Tnx |

Lionel Messi has prepared complementary tax returns for 2010 and 2011 and has paid the tax authorities in Spain an additional €10 million, according to the Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia. Sources connected to the case have confirmed that the player's payments correspond to taxes owed for image rights income in 2010 and 2011. They have also said that the payments were made through a complementary tax return, which consists of a correction to the tax return originally submitted. Messi is also looking to strike an agreement for the 2007, 2008 and 2009 financial years. Sources claim Barcelona's Argentinian striker has accepted that he must pay tax on income from image rights and wishes to clear up any issues with his tax returns for the three years under investigation. Barcelona's financial crimes office filed a complaint against Messi and his father, Jorge, on 12 June, accusing them of tax fraud. The Messis are accused of three crimes against the tax authorities corresponding to the 2007, 2008 and 2009 financial years, when they are alleged to have used tax havens to avoid paying more than €4 million. Messi is due to appear in court for questioning in Gavá near Barcelona on 17 September, although his lawyers have said he "scrupulously complies with Spanish legislation". |

Below are a few things believed you need to be aware of in order to sit for and pass the Adekunle Ajasin University(AAUA) post- utme ______________________________________ ___________ • AAUA has a post-utme cut-off of-180(1st choice) 200(2nd choice) • AAUA post-utme examination is a Computer based examination. • The AAUA post-utme consists of 100 standard questions which is expected to be answered in 90minutes (I.30hrs) AAUA time. • AAUA post-utme just like JAMB also contains the paper type(A,B,C,D) which you would be required to indicate. • The AAUA post-utme requires you to write four subjects in which you registered in your UTME examination, (*not mandatory) so you are to come fully prepared. • AAUA post-utme is a total of 100 marks. AAUA POST-UTME QUESTIONS FORMAT The structure of the questions for various faculties at AAUA are highlighted below. • if you are an aspirant of social sciences, in AAUA, Such questions like, - who is the vice chancellor of AAUA?, - secretary general of the united nations?, - where is akungba located?, should be at your Finger tips. • most questions as always in AAUA post- utme will be pure general knowledge questions, with few calculations of maybe 10-12 simple questions. • For science students of AAUA, most of your questions will be calculations. • For art students, 70% of your questions at AAUA post-utme would come from english, mainly covering synonyms and antonyms, close passage (registers) • Prepare fully well. Nani4all: Ok.... Op Next pleaseHello, you called me. The 'next' is that: Those favoured should apply for their choice of institutions with their marks. But believe me this decision by the minister for education is a reason to deduce that education in Nigeria has lost its values. Upon all the proofs from dibu that the candidates failed to reach 200marks was due to examination malpractise, now, the minister for education is letting us know that Nigeria's educational level is at 'let my people go' standard. The question now is; how will this decision affect candidates? , because- some candidates has gone ahead to buy the change of course and institution form. This decision, to me, is like another way to make money for the institutions that complies to it. Thanks |

A 33-year-old administrator of the Lagos State University, LASU, Onipanu Annex, Lagos State,was recently charged before an Isolo Magistrate’s Court for stealing, after he allegedly bolted with students’ tuition fees. The accused, Mr Olusesan Oduwole allegedly stole N5 million after printing his own receipts and collected fees from other students. According to information made available to DailyPost, Oduwole was employed as an administrator by the institution and was allocated some receipts to use to collect students’ tuition fees. Instead of doing so, he secretly printed his own receipts and was diverting some of the money to personal pocket. This had been going on for a while, but unknown to him, the new receipts he was given were secretly marked. However when the management eventually discovered what Oduwole was doing, and he got wind that his game was up, he fled. He was later arrested by the police at Area ‘D’ Mushin and allegedly owned up to the fraud. He said he committed the crime to raise money to solve his personal problems. Oduwole was handed over to the police. He allegedly made confessional statement to the police and said that he did not divert up to N5 million. When he was arraigned, he pleaded not guilty. The presiding Magistrate, Mrs Kayode, granted him bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum. He was remanded in prison custody at Kirikiri pending the perfection of his bail. The matter was adjourned to 20 June. |

Bwari (FCT) - The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Monday reacted to the 192 complaints received from candidates who sat for the 2013 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The Registrar, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde, at a meeting in Abuja with some of the candidates who filed the complaints, said it was imperative to clear the doubt of the public about the UTME. Ojerinde said that there was an open complaint from the media which amounted to a threat to the integrity of the organisation. He said that out of the 192 candidates who filed their complaints, 132 candidates requested that their examination scripts be remarked, while 63 requested to see their examination scripts. “We are sure of what they scored, we are sure of the situation and we are sure of the true position of things, even with those who claimed that we did not release their results. “But in the final analysis, you can see that they did not shade their subjects correctly, how can we release a result that is not known to us?. “That was why we told the candidates to come on June 10 to see their papers and here we are, together with the complainants. “We have been showing them their papers and so far, nobody has won. I can bet you, the damage done to our integrity is what we have come to protect.’’ The registrar, who reiterated JAMB’s determination to ensure transparency and accountability in the conduct of its examinations, added that “we have to be able to tell the people how we conducted the exams and how we scored them. The JAMB boss said the organisation was not responsible for the failure of any candidate in the 2013 UTME, stressing that rather, the failure was due to double shedding and not following proper instructions as required. He commended the aggrieved candidates for their boldness in writing their complaints to JAMB. He directed that any complainant who must have paid the requested amount for the verification should be refunded. Meanwhile, some of the complainants told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) after the meeting that they were not pleased with the way and manner the UTME was conducted. A complainant, Miss Chiamaka Nnadika, said she was not satisfied even after seeing her examination script. Nnadika, however, commended JAMB for the steps taken to call for such an exercise. “Such a meeting should also be held in the states, instead of people travelling from the east and the north to come to Abuja. “It will be better if JAMB will organise such meetings in the 36 states of the federation so that people will understand their issues better.’’ Another complainant, Mrs Queen Wuhu, said she was not happy about the turnout of things. “I was wondering why I failed my JAMB, that was why I wrote a complaint letter to JAMB that I wish to see my answer script but I was shocked with the findings that I was actually the one who made the mistake by double shedding. “That means I am going to lose this year again, I will work harder next year.’’ Also present at the meeting were representatives of the Public Complaints Commission and the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC).
