Trying to make an argument on the basis of insults is fallacious. Raining insults on GEJ will not add substance to your arguments. FBI coming to investigate the bomb blast? How can that undermine Nigeria's statehood? If we leave it to the SSS, it is these same insolent folks, our famous intellectuals that will claim SSS has no equipment or requisite knowledge and to that extent, the President is daft or clueless for doing so. The FBI that has experience and in depth knowledge in this kind of thing is invited and our intellectuals, that are good in calling a spade by its name, are up claiming threat to sovereignty. Its all what it is; online idiocy by the majority.

A typical sample of the insolence,

[b]WAs he wrong for stating the obvious fact that the level of insecurity under GEJ is at an unprecedented level in recent times. Nigeria as a country has never experienced terrorist bombings, terrorist bombiongs started in GEJ´s home state of Bayelsa last year, MEND attacked Abuja GEJ absolved MEND and tried to link IBB, kidnappings every here and there .

A president that says publicly that the nation should pray for terrorists to confess their action is not just a fool but a celeberated fool of unrivalled standing.

Everyday Dumb GEJ and his equally dumb wife  continue to embarrass our beloved country of many intellectuals. Inviting the FBI to Nigeria is his biggest mistake as wikileaks have already shown the US level of spying in Nigeria, who except a dumb person would now invite the US 24 hrs after a bombing without first gathering your own evidence as a country. The FBI and CIA are not supermen and they still have bin laden at large. GEJ is about to mortgage Nigeria security to the US who are only after their own interest.

@ Lagosboy, these insults are actually very repulsive to some of us. You can make valid arguments without being insolent. You do not call the President of Nigeria a fool so you can appear smart. Its not smart.

GEJ = nigeria's must insulted sitting President.
A sample of some of the insults;
he should go back to the creeks,
clueless fisherman,
are we sure he has a PhD?,
Badluck Johnathan and the list goes on,
Those of us the understand this country perfectly know these insults, which are so often bandied here on Nairaland, are a part of the Majority complex that has ruined this Nation. Even at the height of poor Governance that Yar adua depicted, he was not insulted like GEJ.

Nigerians that have suddenly found it a worthwhile attitude to target innocent people with bombs and mayhem should understand that they are equally millions of Nigerians that will stand very firm to resist their evil. In the minds of cowardly people, they think that their ideas be there religious or tribal will thrive if they employ the tool of mayhem; but they should know that they will be resisted as a majority of us Nigerians want our peace and will fight for it if need be. These new terror tactics will fail and their agents will be consumed in its failure.
Politics / Re: I Am A Victim Of June 12 -IBB Says In Exclusive Interview by Anybaba: 5:34am On Nov 20, 2010
I have this feeling that this man, IBB, still thinks he can rewrite history. He is so false that he believes the falsehood of his being. It is only in Nigeria that characters like him still offer interviews and are insolent enough to attempt to contest elections in a democratic dispensation. I recall vividly events of 1993 and how he was chased out of power on August 27th. I recall vividly numerous ASUU strikes under Prof. (then Dr) Attahiru Jega. The transition program he ran was tailored to fail though he spent so much money on it and yet deceitfully was backing the the Association Of Better Nigeria led by Aurthur Nzeribe that was canvasing for him not to leave power. In short, he ran a deceitful government! Where was he when Justice Oputa invited him? That would have been the best forum for him to explain his side of the story about Dele Giwa. I still recall my Dad' pay slip then. I recall the number of vehicles that passed my home on major road in my state then. In other words his SAP resulted in economic strangulation. Nigerian poverty began with his SAP. Automobile assembly plants and textile mills declined and Tokumbo joined Okirika in Nigerian lexicon. I could go on and on. However, what is obvious is that this man has not come to terms with the fact that he is no longer in power, hence he is refering to himself as the boss in present tense. It is obvious that he knows no enterprise apart from power and is completely oblivious that this is a democracy where votes will count and people's antecedents matter. The joke is on him that after annuling an election that was clearly won, resulting into confusion in the country and the death of the winner, he wants to use the same route to power. In his case, no amount of zoning, tribalism and ethnicity will pave that way. His antecedents is and will keep working against him irrespective of is silly submissions in interviews.
