Politics / Re: Violence In Kaduna By Buhari/CPC Supporters by Anybaba: 5:20am On Apr 18, 2011
yeah, i knew it would come to this and yet they expect other nigerians to cast their ballot for them in elections. It is attitudes like this that will eventually turn these folks up there into perpetual  political minority. let them keep up.

naijaking1:

All the other Hausa presidential candidates lining up behind Buhari as a last ditch effort to win the presidency for "northern" interest has long been expected by many observers.
I'll be disappointed if GEJ 'brains' don't have a contingency for such a situation.
Come win, come lose, this election will make more people understand that "One Nigeria" actually means, "One Nigeria, if only northern interest is served"

Let them line up. They are failing and failing woefully even with the almariji underaged voters. The election is not about PDP nor GEJ. It is about squashing the born to rule, "its our power and we want it back" mentality. Buhari will hear wee !!

yeah yeah, bla bla bla. . . . .check the trickle down your legs. . .is it Buhari making you all piss in your pants like this?hahahahahhahaha grin grin grin, we don hear the analysis, lol

The political tendencies in Nigeria is such that people won't vote for parties on saturday. To that extent Ribadu's exit is good for GEJ. Shekarau should equally step down to make it even better. The age bracket of Nigerians south of the Niger that will give Buhari votes are kids ( teenagers and early 20s) and not older Nigerians that understand the political dichotomy that operates in this country. I make bold to say that GEJ is winning the majority of votes with a possible 60% SW, 100% SS, 100% SE, at least 60% NC and at least 25% in  NE. Buhari will take  100% NW and so saturday,
Politics / Re: Ribadu Stands Down by Anybaba: 12:07am On Apr 13, 2011
Nuhu Ribadu was not even a Presidential material. His purported withdrawal is just good riddance to an unworthy Presidential candidate and a pretender. Now for folks advocating change through CPC, they should ask themselves what manner of a party it is, its basis and tendencies. From all indications, CPC is not national at all as it is a Buhari child for the sole purpose of serving as a platform for his Presidential ambitions. Equally, CPC as a party, is akin to the ANPP which only served the interest of a certain section of this country. It will be foolish to hand over the affairs of this country to a party with such a narrow political spectrum teemed with people with a born to rule mentality.
Having said the above, any Nigerian that thinks this sudden cry for the annihilation of PDP from the core north is about change is either a child or unobservant of the Nigerian political terrain. It has nothing to do with change. It has nothing to do with corruption but has everything to do with a myopic sense of self entitlement by a certain section of this country that has held the fulcrum of power for 38 years; annulled the freest elections of June 12
; bastardized the economy through the worst form of clannish corruption. A vast majority of Nigerians know this, and if votes will speak on saturday, then Buhari will fail and fail woefully.

Sagamite:

Don't mind the silly joker.

He is blaming us for mockery of Nigeria's Presidency. The office of the Presidency is not already one of mockery considering we spent about 2 and the half months without a President. Didn't kow where our President was, not even knowing if he was dead or alive, and who signed the 2010 budget. And the Silverback Gorilla that was treated like a dunce by the First Lady and inner circle of Yaradua when given the powers of Presidency had no guts to investigate and fish out those responsible. The Silverback Gorilla has not help made a mockery of the Presidency? That is the person I AM suppose to respect? You must be having an effing laugh!

People open their mouths and chat shyt and think it is intelligent. Pisses me the F up!

And who are you to describe me as a silly joker? People like you who are so quick to insult are actually and in reality so low in thought and behavior. In reality your self esteem must be zero hence your knack to reduce people to your low level of existence in an attempt to make a point. I tell you, freedom comes with responsibility. If in upholding your freedom of speech, you do it irresponsibly by insulting the next person, maligning him/her, injuring him/her with spiteful words, then such freedom needs to be curbed and it usually is. That the President has not investigated the period of Yar adua's sickness is not enough reason for this odium that is thrown at his person. I make bold to still say that irresponsibility permeates this site, especially from characters like you and if this is a reflection of the larger society, we have no business hoping for a responsible leadership. If what Nigerians, as typified by your type, exude is irresponsibility then where will the good leadership come from. For every insult and invective you use, you are writing out your character; which through your words is debased and uncultured.
Politics / Re: Describe The Term "job Security" In Your Own Words by Anybaba: 5:22am On Mar 20, 2011
At the rate we are going, with the level of impudence that is exhibited by Nigerians, I can say without any shadow of doubt that we will succeed in not just making a mockery of what the office of the President of this country represents but would have exhibited to the whole world how indeed we have no regards for any constituted authority in the land. Responsibility is a two way thing, for the leaders and the led. We do not need to go further than Nairaland to see the irresponsibility of the Nigerian followership. And if leaders are a product of the larger followership one equally does not need to go beyond Nairaland to see why our leaders are irresponsible. Lets keep piling the insults, afterall it is Nigeria.
Politics / Re: Describe The Term "job Security" In Your Own Words by Anybaba: 5:13am On Mar 20, 2011
After reading through all these comments and the headline of how the President could not define job security, one is bound to ask a few reasonable questions, namely:
1. Was the President asked to directly define the term Job security in the interview?
2. If the answer to the above is no, and I believe it is a no, then what was the context in which the job security question was posed to the President?
3. what was the context of the above quoted 'reply' of the President?
These are questions that deserves answers from the fellow that opened this thread.
It is very easy to pick one liners, without a context, and elaborate it in a negative sense with the intent of maligning a person. Or better, we need a video clip of the said interview for those of us who did not get to watch the interview to understand the question posed to the President and the context of his reply. And those who jump on the bandwagon of insolence without watching the video clip of the interview to understand the question and the context of the President's reply are a let down both in thought and in behavior.
Politics / Re: Pdp Opts Out Of Presidential Debate by Anybaba: 6:28pm On Mar 12, 2011
^^^^^^ did you just write all that putrid rubbish about the President? I keep saying that internet consensus and ability to insult online is different from reality. The elections is few days away and I think some of you insolent internet warlords can hold a little longer for the reality check that is eminent. Nonsense !!
Politics / Re: South Africa Defies Nigeria On Nigerian Soil by Anybaba: 6:33am On Mar 09, 2011
Nigeria is the undisputed Gaint Of Africa. Anyone that does not like that should go and eat sand. Our music and videos are all over the continent. Culturally, we have Africa under lock down. Our army kicks butts and we have proved this in Liberia and Sierra Leone where we stationed troops for more than a decade. In terms of human resources, the most qualified professionals are found in Nigeria. These are facts. Our banks, wholly controlled by dark skinned negros have gone continental. 33 billion barrels of crude reserves is enormous. Yes, 150 million people, some crazy, some mean hustlers, some fanatical preachers and world class tele evangelist, some renowed artist, some world renowed playwrits and authors, some so brillant that you can't just suppress them. Yes Nigeria is the Giant of Africa. Though we have our issues, but so far the Federal Republic of Naija is still in existence no African nation or any African can deride our swagger.

Dont mind the 'olodo'. The next time some Nigerians , from the majority ethnic groups are arguing , even if erroneously, that minority groups are not sophisticated enough to lead Nigeria , they will use the 'area champion' utterances of folks like Beaf to buttress their point i.e Patience Jonathan is "another man's wife" when she effs up but she is "her excellency" first Lady to all Nigerians when Jonathan needs to cited as an effective President.

DID A NIGERIAN MAKE THIS FOOLISH STATEMENT (EMPHASIS ON THE BOLD PART)? IS THIS WHAT THIS THREAD IS ALL ABOUT ? WHAT IS THE LEVEL OF EDUCATION OF SOME OF THE FOLKS THAT COMMENT HERE? IT IS QUITE SAD THAT AT THIS POINT IN OUR NATIONAL LIFE, SOME FOLKS ARE JUST THIS silly ( I HAVE NO BETTER WORD OTHER THAN silly). IS IT WHY ATTEMPTS ARE MADE TO VILIFY PATIENCE?  I HAVE LISTENED TO HER SPEECH AND SHE COMMUNICATED EFFECTIVELY. I DARE SAY THE PENCHANT TO INSULT JONATHAN AND EVERYTHING HIS MAY JUST BE AS A RESULT OF THE' SOPHISTICATION OF THE MAJORITY' ! HOW SILLY ! HOW INANE !
Politics / Re: Patience Jonathan Unable To Read Own Speech by Anybaba: 3:46pm On Jan 28, 2011
YOU GUYS ARE IDIOTS ! WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER SPEECH? UNA MAMA FOR HOUSE FIT READ LIKE THAT? OR IS IT JUST A KNACK TO INSULT ANYTHING JONATHAN? IDIOTS !
