FredUmar: Good morning house. Pls am kinda confused but need ur opinion on this pls I got admission this summer to greifswald and have gone for interview..i planned using SL but was disappointed by my aunt and have no means for raising the BA fund..so after my interview I gave up my quest for Deutschland..and started processing and have even paid for another migration package (Canada) thinking I will be given a conditional AM . Then monday to be precise i got AM without funding or BA and no condition attached that I should send my passport and insurance to d embassy and specify my date of travel..first I was sceptical but my agent handling my recent migration package told me to get the visa since i have a virgin passport and travel for enrolment at the school, then I should come back and continue my biometrics for my new migration plan..he said if I book early I might not spend more than 450k , since my enrolment ends 29th March.. so he suggested going to Germany for my enrolment with a return ticket will boost my on going application (so as to hv a travel history)...however, I have sent my passport & insurance to d embassy awaiting their stamping...i have b4 my interview applied to several schools for winter 2019 (Godforbid, just incase the new migration plan flops) and hv even gotten an admission from one of the schools for winter ..the issue is I really need the opinion of the house about my current predicament ..should i travel to Germany to acknowledge my "to be"stamped visa and how much it might cost to spend a week there for my enrolment and flight ticket (return ticket, if it's cheaper)..cos if my new plan flops, I will still resort to Germany again during winter, So I wouldn't wana go and jam paulinus for another interview this winter..thanks for ur kind opinion Try and get the proof of funds... very important... Ignore Canada (my opinion) Even if you get your Visa stamped you will still need the proof of funds. How will you enroll without City Reg How will you do city Registration without Proof of funds..... Spending that money and going to Germany without proof... Seems like a waste.... The seniors in the house will offer more advice |

Ndydy: Hello all, Been a while I posted well life happens when you have school work and German language class to balance. So just decided to give an update FROM MY PERSPECTIVE about life in Berlin Germany. Please it's not for generalisation, it's my own opinion so do not attack my post. Instead share your own opinion and we would all learn.
25) Be nice to each other especially your fellow Nigerians and share information when you have it. Quit your hoarding info habit, don't bring it here. Asian people dominate in most places because they have a good information network and share with each other. God Bless you for this The Asians and Indians are succeeding because they don't see it as COMPETITION unlike Africans. Indians have so many avenue for sharing information like Jobs... Africans rather hoard information.... It will get better I know |

Eldeee: Please madam I think you need to be more specific on what you actually want. When you say health courses it entails a lot, I want to believe you understand what am saying. What range of courses are you looking at cos that will give me an indication of what to look out for. Thanks
NB: Please I will like to sound a clear note here cos i would not like to be misunderstood so to speak. Moreover i would not like a situation where this will turn to an abuse of process. All i have done here is selfless and nobody has paid me a dime whatsoever. If I somehow noticed you have not done your homework well but you want me to go do the work for you by spoon feeding you, am sorry you just have to count me out. Am very sorry. Thanks in all. Most people asking actually want u to do the work for them. God bless you for the assistance you are rendering. |

Mystique20: "lose admission"? One you haven't even gotten and CANNOT be certain that you'd get? So you'd rather have someone already admitted miss a date because it's "survival of the fittest" way to go! It's a wonder anyone is surprised that we are still treated like savages by the western world. That the option to book online was made without requesting for the applicants admission letter is because you're EXPECTED to be REASONABLE and already have a resumption date, you can't clog a system because of a "maybe" case in point; I got admitted in December for a program in March, couldn't get a date until February, now people are getting dates in December because bookings are being Canceled If only people with admissions were making bookings, the whole back and forth wouldn't be. if you still don't see the problem with this, then there's nothing I can do for you, selah! Survival of the fittest has made this country like this... If you see the cooperation among the Indians and Asians.... But Nigeria everything is competition.... You spoke my mind.... |

Chriswazo: So what exactly is ur point? Haven't you noticed the declining rate of answers given even from those in Germany, simply because the questions d see are continually repeated and no one likes to repeat himself forever. I am not against questions asked, I ask too and answer the few I know, but some u read and pissed with like someone asking you how to go about raising block money etc? We need more of interview transcripts, Germany experiences and tips as much as we need relevant questions or confusing issues asked. I actually do get ur point... was just saying, you know people will always ask questions. relevant and irrelevant. Won't bother to read a little. I have personally researched on every city and school I plan to apply to. The Indians have gone far in providing information for their people. They have YouTube videos on every aspect of moving to Germany for studies (I have watched a lot) Hoping Africans... Nigerians can emulate that |

Greetings to everyone on this thread. i have been a silent follower of the thread. thanks to all the senior colleagues for the valuable information. This thread is a like a mini "bible" for all things German Student visa. For newbies, when they say read, please do read. Haven read this part and the previous parts i 'feel like' i know it all know a lot ;Dl, because almost all issues have been addressed and you could learn from experience of most seniors. At first i was almost discouraged because most applicants were applying for STEM courses and it seemed as though those of us who are not were not really serious or there were no opportunities for us in Germany. i have come to see otherwise. Moving to DE is a big step in life and a very serious choice one has to be mentally and physically ready for. Thats why we are all encouraged to read previous pages and prepare our mind and also budget properly because most people are always asking about HUSTLE. Please dont forget the major thing taking us there. EHeem... its not like i dey Germo O... Just my own thoughts. All the best... AM smile on us all 2019 Hopefull |
