5.Ighalo gave his best but he was selfish. Am still not settled with Onauchu. I think it's high time Osimhen is given a chance to start against Madagascar, dude had a better season in Belgium than Onauchu did in Norway
Onuachu has looked lost and slow in the two matches he has played. Surely Osimhen is sharper.

Prior to the transaction I was made to know that the exchange rate for Form A is cbn rate, I was also given a breakdown of the approved rate for different currency for the transaction by the bank customer care service(which I confirmed from CBN portal as their official rate, euro - 342, dollar - 305 etc) M

Form A cannot be used to fund blocked account. They might tell you that they can, once it's not school fees payment, it's difficult.
Best way is to source for Euro yourself and fund... you might get for a little less than Bank price.

I pray you are successful with your appeal.

Bro if you had read just 2 or 3 pages back you would see transcripts relating to this.
If you can risk it... Go with Cat A as you have a Bsc already.

Good day guys, i am trying to apply through uni-assist to a university whose deadline is 15th July, i will be notarizing my documents tomorrow and making payments to uni-assist tomorrow as well. I wanna ask if its not too late to apply as deadline is in about a month?
The most important thing is for your documents to get to Uni Assist before the deadline.

Congrats ..But how did you go about it...i am about to apply for the summer session cos winter is closed.

Bros please don't take this the wrong way... please calm down and go through the course website of the schools you want to apply to. Some of the questions you are asking are actually not it... Masters program require research, how exactly are you going to cope when you eventually get to DE if the questions you are asking is what documents do I submit and other absolutely easy to research questions.
Don't be offended Bro. Just do a little more reading and research and I promise you will get ALL the answers you need.

It is very much possible. If not, then you will get an enrolment extension from your school.
Don't stress yourself.

Bros what course do you want to study?
My Advice... Focus on Summer... Get all your documents and please do no avoid Uni Assist.. As it gives you better option
Or you can sit down and browse all the schools in Germany (someone advised this previously), you can go state by state you will definitely get 1 or 2 that you can apply to if they still accept applications.
All the best

Guys, please I if any school should offers you admission and it happens that you are no longer interested or you've got a better offer from another school. what you should do is to quickly write to them to decline and ask them to give your slot to another Nigerian applicant.

This is very important please.....

Holding on to a study place which you Don really need while other people who need it are being rejected is evil and wicked.

Truer words have not been spoken... Those waiting for 5 or 6 admission letters, what exactly will you do with it.
Hope no 1 takes this the wrong way.

What rate did they tell you? thats one of the contending issues.

If the rate is low as stated here, there must be a way out. This is because form A is not only for fees. We will surely argue this out

Please let the findings keep coming in. If naa this we wan chop small of the national cake, no wahala cos what we will save is worth it

Bros it's not matter of going to ask anybody... FORM A CANNOT BE USED FOR BLOCKED ACCOUNT. except you own a bank or the CBN governor is your brother. You are depositing to your personal account and not school.... so no Bank will process it. It has been discussed countless times even when euro was not this high. Best option is to buy from Aboki and use Dorm Account.

Good morning to you all. Please concerning the use of Form A that was raised yesterday, I travelled to Bayelsa and made enquiries from Zenith bank and was told the CBN rate using form A is 342.3581 per Euro.

Please can someone also confirm from any zenith bank or other banks. The different will go along way to reduce cost(403 - 343) = 60*8,640 = NGN 518,400. i.e 1,286 Euros

I strongly belive we can fund our BA using Form A since its not peak period. All we need to do is find out the avereage processing time with CBN and check if ok with your TIME. Max of 2weeks should be enough to get this done(which is worth it)

Lets hear your findings.....

See Ehn... They will tell you it's that rate, but when the time comes it's a different story. Some banks will even put it on their boards at 345 but will never do the transfer at that rate.... Hope yours is different. All the best

Just try it first, then you can judge. Check out “Learn German Original”.
You can also listen to what a professional and Bharat* of India have to say about learning the language. Check YouTube.
Enjoy.

exactly thank you very much, on one AL the enrollment deadline is boldly written as June 30th and the other AL the enrollment deadline is not written on it but on the email the enrollment fee deadline is written as June 21st, because my plan is to use one of the AL and show up at another school, if i use the second AL do you think my visa will be bounced back by the alien office, when they check with the school and find out that i have not paid the enrollment fees before the fee payment deadline

forgive my plenty questions, im just worried embarassed

Why creating unnecessarily tension for yourself.
Carefully see what each admission entails
Use a score map to choose a school of your choice and stick to it. Truth is if you don't enroll by those dates, your admission will be given to someone else (probably to others on their waiting list) which means the alien office will know you didn't enrol .
My advice.... select your most preferred school and stick to it.

Thanks man..I didn't apply through uni assist but got an AL already. I was offered a scholarship which covers part of my tuition fee,do I still need block account?

If anyone tries to explain to you, they will confuse you the more. My advice just go through this thread... not read O... just go through it.
If you are going to accept the admission and pay the fees. You need to book for visa and open a blocked account
But I still advice you going through the thread.

I'm currently in a fix right now. Just applied for appointment at the embassy but did booking with my expired passport and I'm yet to receive my renewed passport which should be around next week. Now I was just informed that my passport number will likely change( I wasn't aware about this) as against the one I used in booking appointment. What do you guys think I should do? The passport expired 2017. Should I cancel the appointment or mail them and explain.

Why do it in the first place?
Why the rush.... You could have just waited for just a week Oh....

I don't think this is possible. Considering the number of Student Visa applicant per day at the German Embassy and from transcripts... Not saying its impossible.... But highly unlikely... Have you been to US Embassy in the Morning

Finally, my journey to Germany has just started. I have some few questions guys.
1. What will this money in the blocked account be used for?
What if an applicant wasn't given a visa, what will happen to the money? Can I withdraw all the money in the account and send it back to my people in Nigeria?
2. Are there schools with law related courses. I am a lawyer to be and I wish to go for my masters programme?
3. I don't understand German, can I survive in Germany?
4. Things are hard in the country, like how much is monthly accommodation in Berlin or other cities?
5. After my 1 year programme hope they won't send me back to Nigeria like in the UK ?

Anyone with answers biko...
Lemme try
1a. It's for your upkeep for a year. So it's your money
b. You will apply to get your money back
c. No you cannot. You are paid 720 Euro monthly
2. Yeah sure. Law courses are in German but you will find English taught courses that are related
3. You can. But you are strongly advised to learn the language.
4. Accommodation is dependent on location. So you first need to get admission and know the city you are heading to.
5. Most Masters courses are 4 semesters (some 3) you get 18 months to look for a related job....
Hope I was able to help.

June is showing on the online portal for visa booking and there are no dates in June. Has June been booked out already? This naija sha undecided

Or do you guys feel people at the consulate purposely don’t release enough dates for Nigerians for one reason or the other. Cause I’m second guessing if people are actually hoarding appointment dates

The Naija factor always comes into play... some people without admissions and are not sure if admissions decision will be made by June will book Visa appointments and cancel later... meaning those who already have will get a much farther date ... Reason why they start using the email booking method.... We keep repeating the same mistake... It's not a competition....

I dont hav any level of german proficiency.i am to start from A1.1 to B1 level before studienkolleg and then the study program. it is written in my admission letter .

I think the issue is the language course before studienkolleg... The question is, will the embassy grant Visa for language course?
I honestly do pray you get a positive feedback.
