Congratulations to those that have received their visa grant and those still waiting... verily it will end in praise. I appreciate those who have contributed to this fora by given updates and feedback based on personal experiences on their aussie student visa journey. I also acknowledge the silent readers, observers and those who only come on here to seek for help and then zoom off... all of you una well done !!!

My timeline:
University assessment level: AL2
Admission offer: February 24, 2019
Visa application: 26th of May, 2019
Visa refusal: 26th of June, 2019.
Visa reapplication: 28th of June, 2019.
Telephone interview from Pretoria: 24th of August, 2019.
S56 further information request (new COE and most recent 3 months account statement): 5th of November, 2019
further information request submitted : 29th of November, 2019
S57 Natural justice Query: 11th of December, 2019.
Natural justice Query reply: 16th of December, 2019.
so 3hrs later............
IMMI Grant notification mail:16th of December,2019.

lessons learnt: delay is not denial!!!

my message to you, yes you...... never give up, God will do it for you at your appointed time. Before the end of this month you will receive divine grace and favour. you will shout for glory and all your dreams would come into fruition.

I have a question a cousin of mine just got a vistors visa to the uk , but has submiited his student visa application to australia before he got this uk visa. Should he upload the recent visa he got?

October 2022, Admissions were granted (LA Trobe University, Torrens University, Curtin University). I chose Curtin.
February 2023, Admission was deferred.
March 7, GTE documents were submitted.
March 9, GTE was passed and CoE was sent.
May 10, visa application was submitted.
July 9th, form 815 was requested.
July 10th, form 815 was sent.
July 13th, visa was granted.

I clearly said I haven’t heard of it, and will contact my agent to see if it’s necessary I submit. before Pappi Bear gave information on what it is for.

i have already registered for courses and picked timetable, now school is saying if we dont resume on or before 3pm on friday 21st of july, i cant differ, i can only file for Intermission ,which is more like leave of absence.for that intake. thou i wont need to pay any fees,but i will have to reach out to BUPA to change my insurance date.
..sincerely,i do not pray for it to get to that stage.
its over 6 weeks now. i submitted application on MAY 25, BIOMETRICS ON JUNE 2, MEDICALS ON JUNE 6. like day 43.
No added document was requested and my status is on FURTHER ASSESSMENT since like june 9

You can defer but you will need a new COE and you will have to lodge another visa application


-The student visa processing time is now longer so choose a semester that gives you enough time to get another visa grant
- Your bank statement will be updated to fit the new floating exchange rate
- The Australia home affairs has changed some policies that affects student visa. You have to read up on that on their website

Is your course offered online ? What happens may be ( GOD FORBID ) your visa is denied and you have started online? will they refund back the tuition that I already paid.

The flight rates I am seeing is quite disturbing. It’s like the floating exchange rate has disrupted everything.
Did someone get a good airline fare of recent? What airline? and How much ?

Omo, don’t worry, they will soon, let’s just hold in the anxiety. Visa was lodged on May 19th . I’m being hopeful that by the end of this week they will start looking at May Applications.

Getting accomodation and settling in is something that bothers me. But getting the visa is important first.

lNot yet, you are not alone. Classes resume by July 17th. It seems they are still on April applications

No it doesn't.

But you will notice that the "Last Update Date" on you application page has changed to the day you did your biometrics.
