Just when it seemed that primetime television could not get any more satanic – Fox television (the “conservative” network) is set to make a show that celebrates Satan himself. Lucifer, a new drama series from Fox, follows the life of Satan as he lives in Los Angeles attempting to solve a murder and use his powers to start helping people. The fact that a show like this could even be made much less air on a major network is another sign of just how far society has turned from God and the Bible. And certainly how easy the hearts and minds of many people are open to satanic deception.

In December 2014, Exodus: Gods and Kings, starring Christian Bale and directed by Ridley Scott will be the latest Hollywood film that twists and distorts a Biblical story. Based on the account of the Exodus from the Old Testament, Exodus: Gods and Kings is riddled with Biblical and historical inaccuracies, false doctrine, racial miscasting and a theology that de-emphasizes God, sin and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 2014 will see a large number of Christian-themed movies hit the big screen and one of the most anticipated of them is Noah, directed by Darren Aronofsky and starring Oscar-winner Russell Crowe. While there will be much hype and excitement for this movie, the early reports indicate that the Noah film will not be in line with the Biblical account of Noah’s ark and the flood, but instead will push a liberal, political message focused on the environmental agenda. A North Carolina elementary school forced a first grade student to change a poem she had written for her grandfather for a Veteran’s Day Event because a line contained the name of God in it.
The student, who attends West Marion Elementary School was selected to read the poem as part of a special school event. Her poem was a tribute to her grandfather, a Vietnam war veteran. The line that caused the controversy said: “He prayed to God for peace, he prayed to God for strength.”
