I needed the items for my research work and the delay stalled my work for 3 months!

I was around my post office so i decided to check my 2nd order of June 15th only to discover that the parcel was jejely waiting for me in the post office. Track still shows " Dispatched to overseas postal admin". It was such a relief, I was called to collect the 1st order of the same 15th June 3 weeks ago and i was worried about this particular order. First an foremost, you will need to calculate the total wattage of all the appliance you want to power.

You only mentioned that of your fans which is 220watts in total; please get all others and add them together; an Inverter that can be at least 2times the required load will be best, so for instance your load is 500watts in total; you’ll need to get an Inverter of about 1000watts, it’s best than getting something just the same as your load requirement, in case of some minor addition long term stability of your inverter.

Now inverters are considered mostly in KVA, find an Inverter that is about the equivalent of 1000w
Which is about 1.2-1.5kva

1500x0.8 =1200w Inverter for instance( the 0.8 is pf)

Or

Converting from watts to kva, you will need to know the pf power factor of the Inverter you wish to get, but before then you can use 0.8


So for instance 1/0.8x 1000watts= 1250kva( you may not get the exact kVa, but this means you can get something higher or a little lower


Once that is considered; then calculate the number of hours you want to run the Inverter.

For instance you found that a 1.5kva could power the house, then go to the calculator type in the ah of the battery

On a 24v system; the calculator is will automatically make it 2 batteries, type in the load, then it will give u an estimate of backup hrs

Yes I can snap mine but may have to be tomorrow cos it's dark now. I bought it for 53k, March 18th and I use it every other day cos of the epileptic power supply mostly at night from 7pm to 11pm. On an average it consumes 1 litre for 3 to 4 hours

Been following this thread for a while now so I decided to get the Haier Thermocool Junior Max last week due to popular consensus here. But my challenge is anytime I want to put on the generator it requires several pulls(sometimes up to 10 pulls and this can be exhausting) before it starts. Is this normal? Or is there something I have not done right? #My1stGen#

In the spirit of getting energy-efficient appliances, here is a woofer speaker for anyone who is looking for a good sound system with low power consumption and impressive sound.

I was looking for an energy efficient sound system for my DC TV 'cos I can't stand the sound from it, it's plain annoying (no trace of bass at all) .
So I looked up AliExpress and was seriously considering the Soundcore Motion+ soundbar but the corona thingy stood in the way. So I decided to search locally and I saw quite a number of DC options that work with 12v battery but most consumed nothing less than 60w.

I decided to give this 40w rechargeable woofer speaker a try and was pleasantly surprised. It has an inbuilt battery that can last for 2.5-3hrs depending on the volume. So I charge with my inverter or PHCN and use it with the TV. It gets fully charged in less than 1hr and lasts for 2.5hrs on battery. Trust me, the treble is good and the bass is heavier than most soundbars (I am a 'sound person' so I know what I am saying ). It has Bluetooth, FM, Aux at the back, USB and SD card slot. There are also treble and bass adjustment knobs.
The size is 21 inches X 7 inches X 5 inches

It's available on Jumia. I believe those of you in Lagos can get it offline for less than the Jumia price.
These Jumia and Alaba sellers better prepare a commission for me for this free advert

I should have done this last week but I was in remote area all through the week. I want to use this opportunity to thank this noble house for the contributions I received late last year when i came here seeking for opinions and advice about a solar setup for my school project. Notable of mention is lexi28 he took time to advice and share from his wealth of experience, thanks a lot. Two weeks ago I was able to get the finances for my small solar setup for the project but I live in the the Northern part of the country and I was working on a tight budget so I needed to get things at the best price, I thought of Lagos but I don't have a contact in Lagos my instinct told me to contact Justcallmanuel and that was the best decision ever, this guys customer service is top notche.
