I will always be grateful to Sowore, regardless of our different political ideologies, for the marvelous works he's done in trying to entrench probity and transparency in government.
That said, that I support them doesnt mean I'd swallow any claims they make irrespective of how they make it. You don't make such serious allegation without backing same up with hard evidence, even though we know our legislators and ministers are super corrupt. It makes mockery of the reportage you once were known for. if its false its left for those accused to sue them to court and not you that your worthless opinion ends in nairaland trash can |
Food › Re: How To Make Ofe Oha (oha Soup) by Apawicked: 4:35pm On Jul 05, 2020 |
Igboid: So many misinformation here.
Abacha is not owned by Enugu people. Other Igbos have been preparing Abacha their own way since Cassava was introduced into Igboland. Enugu method of preparing Abacha is just more popular in Igboland.
Oha is not Anambra soup, it's an Igbo soup and again every part of Igboland have their own distinct method of preparing it.
Why exactly are these realities hard for peeps to deal with?
There are dishes typical to parts of Igboland and we know them . For example, Ofe Achara and Egwusi akpuru akpu is a typical Abia state/Umuahia soup.
Ukazi soup seem to be Abia /Imo state soup
Ofe Awa is Nkanu/Enugu soup
Ofe Nsala is Anambra/Enuani soup go through the op's posts, she said ogiri is overrated, in trying to tell her onugbu&oha soup go with ogiri she took offence and escalated it to Anambrarians are bad, Biafra is bad, Anambrarians are supremacists, she rather run into a truck than run into Anambrarian. Tell me how she knew all that opposed her are from Anambra state? She has been so ashamed to tell her story with Anambrarians but I understand Anambrarians are not nice to foolish girls like pocohantas |
Food › Re: How To Make Ofe Oha (oha Soup) by Apawicked: 1:17pm On Jul 05, 2020 |
pocohantas: Most Igbos will not frown at me for making it without ogiri. We are not all from Anambra, you gadamn supremacist. Pfttttt what has Anambra got to do with this? funny how you hinge on artificial state creation for safety whenever you are cornered for saying something foolish. |
Food › Re: How To Make Ofe Oha (oha Soup) by Apawicked: 12:23pm On Jul 05, 2020 |
pocohantas: Ogiri is optional. The choice to use it is totally dependent on the cook. It is no correction, it is choice. No Igbo would frown at you for making oha/onugbu soup with ogiri but most Igbos if not all would frown at you for making the two soups without ogiri. |
Food › Re: How To Make Ofe Oha (oha Soup) by Apawicked: 12:19pm On Jul 05, 2020 |
pocohantas: So many Igbo tribes do not use ogiri!! In fact, the people that carry it for head are Anambra people.
Ask around. Without ogiri your onugbu/oha soup is just a vegetable soup. Ogiri is not overrated. You hardly take correction, this same scenario took place when you were corrected that ofe-akwu is ofe-akwu and not in anyway banga soup but you refused the correction |

MENELIIK: I know it is normal for you to wake your parents with slap that is why vulgar language is common with you, but then make use of your sense now. I posited that those people got those appointments through nepotism and not merit because the Igbos and their Hausa friends were in charge of Nigeria at least between 1959 and 1966 and your brother in the bid to counter my claim gave an extract from a write up showering encomiums on the Igbos. You would have added that the Premier of the then Eastern region Michael Opara and the ceremonial president Azikiwe escaped death during the coup because they were smart. i guess the reason why he was also recruited as the Deputy Head of Planning Central Electricity Generation Board UK was because Igbos were also in charge at UK or maybe Igbo woman was the queen of England then?? you are an ediot, a foolish Igbo hater. sorry but no sorry |
Politics › Re: Clement Onyemelukwe: 'Father Of Electricity’ In Nigeria Died At 86 (Photos) by Apawicked: 11:58am On Jun 23, 2020 |
MENELIIK: My Opinion on the story.
As at that time, his region in Nigeria couldnt boast of having more educated personalities than other regions in southern Nigeria, yet they got all those positions like his own, Vice Chancellor of UI, Unilag, heads of Federal Government parastatals among others not because of ingenuity but the alliance of NPC and NCNC. If you look at it clinically and you want to be sincere with yourself, the region that was ostraciced by the coalition government of NPC and NCNC did better than the other two regions who run the central government. If this people are superhuman like you always claim, then their home region then should have reflected class but this was not the case. They got those appointments not because then they were better than other people, rather as a result of nepotism and marginalisation that their descendants are crying about today which was however, initiated by their fathers. don't shift the goalpost. The excerpt made this your post look stupid and that's the same thing was telling you.

MENELIIK: You did not counter my claim that nepotism was responsible for the appointments and not merit. Now, to the point you raised, can you avail of the research result with which you derive that conclusion that Yorubas study simple courses as compared with Igbos because even those you listed above, Yoruba has a good percentage of the people calling the shots there. here's the proof.. What else do you have to say? After reading that excerpt you will curse your Lagos/Ibadan media that has been feeding you nonsense and never believe anything that comes from them again

scholes0: And Anambra is benefiting from being the entry point into Eastern Nigeria for basically every good and service. And Kaduna s benefiting from being gateway from Abuja into the North And 6 SS states are benefiting from being massive oil producers And Kano is benefiting from Northern commerce Before you know it, the whole of Nigeria will end up supposedly benefiting from something.
As for Imo there is nothing there. Imo is a civil service state as such they have decided to focus on their schooling..... even though there is still no tertiary educational institution of note there.
Yes Ogun state is No2 in HDI and it is funny that you suggest I do not know the diffference between FDI and HDI there's nothing in Imo that pumps gas to your region? Your problem as evident in the Eze Ndigbo rubbish you were doing on Nairaland, is symbolic of your inability to exist in a multicultural space without attempting to segregate into a clan and imbibe a herd mentality. A typical sign of insecurity.
This is an online forum with individual opinions and perspectives.
