2007 was heavily compromised, but Yar'Adua would still have won if it was free and fair, the same way Jonathan won in 2011. The voting pattern of 2011 was similar to that of 2007.

Buhari would still win in the NE and NW but the margin of win won't be as much as it was in 2015. Jonathan got only about 5% of Kano votes. Atiku would get much more than that, even though he may not win Kano. Same for other states in the NE and NW.

Yaradua would have won the elections, of course.

I hope you also know that the SS margin will reduce as well cos both candidates are southerners and pdp no longer owns the rigging machinery.

Thank you for this comment. I have been telling people that Jonathan rigged. Its just that his efforts weren't good enough. No matter how hated a major opposition party is, there is no way one party will get 1.5 million (almost 90% turnout) while the other will take just 70 thousand. Just compare than with gej votes in places like Borno where even a total of 200 votes shouldn't be a surprise as at that time
