And now same igbos are saying northerners will loose more how on earth is that true.... look I support the igbos right to self determination and I sincerely hope with the amount of hatred from both side that FG conduct a referendum for the igbos and let them go thier merry way...... Nigeria and igbos will be better for it cos no country can hope to develop with this kind of enmity between its citizens..... but I sincerely fear is for the millions of hardworking igbos around nigeria trying to make a living and all of a sudden they are asked leave all that behind..... just saying I wish they would do it Without insulting others |

UnchangeableGod: I think they are chanting independence. It is those who do not want them to go that are equating their agitation to war, reminding them of the past. Concerning Book Haram defeat, I would like to correct an impression for the records. APC started from where PDP stopped. Let us say PDP did 60% of the job while APC have done like 35% remaining like 5%. Without the PDP government, there would have been no election in the North-East especially Borno in 2015 (which even contributed to APC coming to power). The problem is that PDP waited till election time perhaps to use the victory to win votes which they didn't. The kidnap of the Chibok girls had already dented them. bro do you even know what you are saying? what did pdp do that constitutes 60%? during their time shekau was killed twice, Boko Haram took over villages at will and chased soldiers like ants. while all this was happening, dasuki was chilling with $1.2 billion arms money. do you know the number of bombs that were detonated after Buhari had been sworn in? Boko Haram was never hurt throughout the years of Jonathan. it was only when APC came that things started improving and today, we are free!. this is the main reason why my friend created this moniker |

Igbos are Westernized and believe in Western values, which can allow us to succeed in our own.
The North does not have this ability. Just look at the Northeast relying on Niger Delta oil to rebuild. hypocrisy! are igbos the owners of the oil? don't you depend on the oil too? what are you without the oil? if the FG should decide to stop allocating oil money to you will you be able to survive it? open I totally disagree with you. first of all you should ask yourself HOW MANY OF THEM ARE IN YOUR LAND COMPARED TO YOUR PEOPLE THAT ARE HERE? how much capital does one need to come back and continue those odd jobs here? your people here work in banks, schools, radio stations, refineries, hospitals, law firms, and many other places. some are doing businesses like cooking gas business, prostitution, fake products sales, vehicle parts sales, piracy, armed robbery, and so on. some of them don't have houses in their villages but own mansions here and what's worse? THERE ARE MILLIONS OF THEN HERE. imagine all of them being kicked back to the south east to start afresh and you are here comparing them with suya sellers. bro you have more to lose. there are graduates that can take care of the jobs they will leave behind and most of the igbos here are traders not entrepreneurs |

whitebeard: just look at your moniker, that's all, it says a lot about u, pls how has the APC government help u and Nigeria at large.
See I don't have time for the north but GOD knows I won't trade words with the north like I am doing with baifrans, I will speak the language u understand the most and that is pain, torture and violence, the north keeps killing people and hide under religion and people know quite well that this is tribal not religious, that's why some northern muslims hate Yoruba Muslims, despite the fact that they have a common religion.
Instead of u people to voice out the most, cause of the poverty in the north u people are only happy about the fact that the president is a northerner and that would end your poverty.
Pls keep up with the west, if u can't just watch from a distance, knowledge is power and it is something the north is greatly deficient of. crap. tell me what pdp has done to improve Nigeria aside the massive looting of our resources. at least APC has gotten rid of Boko Haram. I want you to give me proofs that we hate Yoruba Muslims and why. stop making baseless claims without facts. yes the north has problems. but you should first deal with cultism, drug trafficking, cannibalism, yahoo yahoo, rituals and prostitution that is the order of the day in your region before criticizing others. the se is the country that doesn't have knowledge at all. that's why you are still chanting war despite the millions of people that died during the war. |

plappville: Man attacks Paris police with tool at Notre Dame 'for Syria' An officer was wounded in the attack, and the assailant was shot and wounded by a fellow officer
Yesterday at 8:30 PM
By Philippe Sotto and Elaine Ganley Associated Press
PARIS — An assailant wielding a hammer attacked Paris police guarding Notre Dame Cathedral Tuesday, crying "This is for Syria" before being shot and wounded by officers outside one of France's most popular tourist sites, authorities said.
At least 600 people were blocked inside the iconic 12th century church, while others fled in panic from the sprawling esplanade outside as police combed the area in the center of the French capital.

malton: I get torn between ignoring and responding to people who speak with as much ignorance as you do. However, you sound reasonable, and I believe that you are a sensible person.
You brought the religious angle, and I responded to that.
Can you name one tribe from the middle belt on whose toes your people have not stepped?
Do the Fulani Murderers tell a Gwari person from a Tiv man whenever they go on rampage?
From Southern Kaduna through Plateau and Benue, have we not all shed the same tears? We have all fallen victims to your people one way or another.
When you are that person, everybody has to hate you, and justifiably so. What have you done to earn the love of any middle beltan?
I give it to you people for acting strategically for so long. But hey, even the best legs get weary; give it up - you've been found out.
We are peace loving people, sure, but you see, there's only so much that one can swallow and tolerate. when did you respond to the religious angle? as for the Fulanis, I asked you to tell me how many of them are fighting you. if we are to go by your logic, the entire north hates the people of borno because Boko Haram came from their state. and you claim to be reasonable? so far I have not experienced any form of hatred from southern Kaduna people. one of my girl friends is from there . maybe your tribe hates us but in general terms we are still friendly. and by the way, don't think that I have fallen for your lies. I know that you are an Ibo man from the south east but let's just pretend I dont |

whitebeard: see this people u call afonja are not foolish, they move to the side that favours them, they don't wait on their leaders before they act, hence the ease of zombie infection among them is not easy.
The north crossed their boundary with that statement, but the west and SW have been quiet about it cause it doesn't involve them, but they have made their choice what remains is action. the north crossed their boundary but hasn't the the south east crossed theirs too? what have they not called us? go to facebook and see what they are calling northerners and you are here talking about boundaries. you people got what you have been asking for. you think you can keep insulting us and we keep quiet just like that? do you think the north needs the assistance of the sw to beat you in the case of war (God forbid)? |
Politics › Re: Northern Youths' Ultimatum: Keep Plateau And The Middle Belt Out Of Your Madness by APCsupporter: 1:44pm On Jun 07, 2017 |
malton: You think this is anything to do with religion?
It's about common sense.
The only commonality between the Hausa/Fulani Muslim and the middle belt one is religious. That alone is not enough to get the affinities you seek.
Our Muslim brothers do not consent to your killing and destructive perspectives of Islam. Indigenous middle beltan Muslims do not acquiesce with violence because dem go school and their papa dem raise them well.
Don't even talk about religion when you consider them inferior to you, authors of Islam. And why's that? Because they are tolerant and dress differently. shut up man. who is even begging the middle belt? what I am saying is that the middle belt is full of different tribes that one person cannot speak for everyone. if the katafawas are happy with you it does not mean that gwaris share the same opinion with you. the fact that you said we see them as inferior shows that all that you are saying is based on hatred , the same character with that of ipob . please can you also tell me the version of Islam you are talking about? you attribute anything bad to Islam but when we start talking about cannibalism in your region you begin to talk about bad eggs. the middle belt is generally OK with the north east and north west and they are northerners. a few clashes doesn't mean that we are on bad terms. concentrate on building a good relationship with the ijaws first before coming to create disunity here |

EzeUche: Do you really think the Middle Belt has any problems with the Igbos, when their main concern are with the Hausa who disturb their land or Fulani herdsman who destroy their crops and villages? how many tribes are in the middle belt and how many of them have told you that they prefer the igbos to Hausas? you people just make huge assumptions from just a little problem. the fight of a few North Central people against Fulani does not mean that we are enemies. how many middle belt states are dominated Christians self? |
