Being a reader myself, it’s disturbing to know that people seek reasons to read. There cannot be a better reason than the book itself. The pleasure of curling up with a book and getting lost in its depth seems alien now. Gone are the days and lost are the people, who would fall into the depths of books, not just for getting by a high-school assignment but for the sake of the actually reading. Words fail me to describe the feeling of switching worlds, in moments I open up a book. I hope, by the end of this article, I’m able to give you a reason good enough for to you grab a book.

10. Takes your mind off things
How many sleepless nights had been spent just because we couldn’t get our mind to shut-up! Where coffee and music fail to do the trick, books might have been the answer all along! The magical power of the books to teleport one to a different world (no not literally!) is the reason why I am still sane and haven’t killed anyone yet! Now-now, don’t judge me! World can be a hard place, and it’s better to turn pages rather than tossing and turning yourself. Letting the printed lines to take you to a world of book is the distraction welcomed happily by the mind to clear itself.

18 hr flight, travelling alone, no electronics allowed! what to do! Well knock-knock! A book doesn’t runs on batteries! Groucho Marx once said, “Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend” A mere presence of a book can provide comfort in the coldest of hours, be it a cab ride home, holidays in the tropics or even when surrounded by the undesired lot! When in need, books are the only friend there for you even if you had turned your back on them. The anytime-anywhere buddy of mankind may save you from dubstep feeling that is only occurs when alone because loneliness is a state of mind rather than a state of being.

8. ‘A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one’
Getting lost in the work of fiction just to find you walking hand-in-hand with the protagonist, reliving his life, gaining and learning along the way has its perks. Now-now, I m not talking about books like Twilight or 50 Shades Of Grey, Actual literature and pure art like The World Is Flat by Thomas Friedman or Les Miserables by Victor Hugo forces mankind to think beyond the usual humdrum. ‘A good book has no ending.’ said Robert Frost once. Taking way beyond the horizons of one’s thinking these printed sheets enlarge your world, force you to embrace a new thought and evaluate your life against it.

7. A boost to imagination and creativity
“Broaden your minds, my dears, and allow your eyes to see past the mundane!” cried Professor Trelawney in the first class of deviation. Books like Flatland by Edwin Abbott, a romance novel between different dimensions, and Harry Potter (do we need to say more) , show you that nothing is unimaginable. Reading exposes one to different worlds, analyzing different takes on the problem at hand, your mind is forced to weave through the plots and twists of life, that the person who sat down to read is not the same who got up after being done with it. Sometimes a mere imagination aids the crisis at hand. The world is an amusement park and your life a roller coaster. Depends upon how you go about it!

6. Doesn’t let your mind rust
As George R.R. Martin said, “A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone”. The chain comprising of reading, understanding what is read, imagining what is understood, analyzing the imagined, and absorbing the very best and important, works as a sharpening tools for both mind and soul. Books help sharpening of mind. Loosing oneself in the work of fiction time and again keeps your grey matter in check. The more you read, the more you understand one thing, the A to Z of a thing. The more you understand, the better you are prepared for the upcoming.

5. Fundamental skill builder
Reading exposes one to new words and different styles of writing hence contributing to improved vocabulary and enhancement of language as, only in books; sadly, the pure form of literature is left now. One of the very basic advantages, yet highly ignored, of reading is that is makes you more vigilant. Regular reading refines reading speed which is directly related to response time. The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the better you will understand the root of a thing. Hence grooming on the inside as well outside.

4. Better decisions made

Reading for long periods helps mind to focus and concentrate. The self- discipline earned by merely scheduling to read daily improves the memory as well as your relationships with your peers. Having been read topics, you become better informed about your areas of interest, people seek help from you. This expertise translates into higher self esteem. Being a portable source of information, books can be carried to any place providing you with an opportunity to learn anywhere.

2. Gives you something to talk about
Have you ever run out of stuff to talk about? You want to yet nothing pops up in the head. Well that can be uncomfortable. Running out of things to talk might make you question your relationship. Being a reader, you can always discuss various plots of different novels, the new things you learnt. The possibilities of sharing are endless.

1. The Brazilian bride who died in a helicopter crash on the way to her wedding
In December 2016, a Brazilian bride's surprise entrance to her wedding went tragically wrong when the helicopter she was in crashed minutes before she was due to tie the knot. Rosemeire Silva Nascimento, who was wearing her wedding dress and veil, died instantly along with three others.

The 32-year-old nurse planned to amaze her fiancé, Udirley Narques Damasceno, 34, and their 300 guests with a stunning entrance by flying into the Recanto Beija-Flor venue in Sao Lourenco da Serra, a wealthy suburb of Sao Paulo, in a chopper. The groom was in a state of shock at the altar as he was told his bride had died.

In addition to Rosemeire, the other victims included her brother, Silvano Nascimento da Silva, who had been “very excited about the plan," the wedding photographer, Nayla Cristina Neves Lousada, who was six months pregnant, and Peterson Pinheiro, the pilot.

At least 20 people were killed and hundreds injured at a wedding party in Jerusalem in 2001 after the dance floor collapsed. Guests were left clinging to the walls of the Versailles wedding hall when the third floor suddenly gave way and crashed through two stores below.

There were nearly 700 guests in the building, which was in the industrial Talpiot area of Jerusalem. 23 people fell to their deaths through two stories, including the groom's 80-year-old grandfather and his three-year-old second cousin, the youngest victim. Another 380 were injured, including the bride, who suffered severe pelvic injuries.

This is the haunting image of a mass grave dug for some of the 51 guests who were killed while dancing at a wedding in Gaziantep, Turkey. The killer, who wore an explosive belt, was between12-14 years old. It was Turkey's deadliest bombing of 2016.

12 people were buried the day after the attack, but other funerals had to wait because many of the victims were blown to pieces and DNA was the only way to identify them.


6. The father who died in plane crash while flying over his daughter's wedding reception
Not all surprises go as planned. In July 2015, a day of celebration quickly turned tragic when an Alaskan man, performing a surprise flyover at his daughter's wedding reception, died when his plane crashed.

Michael Zagula, 54, had performed the ceremony earlier at his daughter's wedding to a man he is said to have treated like a son.
About half the town of Trapper Creek, Alaska, some 120 miles north of Anchorage, was at the reception. Zagula posed for photographs with the happy couple at the cake cutting before slipping away.

"About 20 minutes later his plane was flying over, and he loved to fly, so he wanted to do something special for the kids," Klondike Hughes, a friend of Zagula's, said. Zagula flew over the party, but as he was returning, he clipped some trees and lost control of the aircraft. Many of the guests either witnessed or heard the crash.


7. The bride who drowned during her wedding photo shoot
In 2012, a woman taking part in a "trash the dress" wedding photo shoot drowned after being pulled underwater by the weight of her wedding gown while snapping pictures in a river near Dorwin Falls in Quebec.

Photographer Louis Pagakis said 30-year-old Maria Pantazopoulos entered the Ouareau River in her wedding dress so she could have her picture taken in the style of wedding photography meant to symbolize that permanence of the marriage. But the dress quickly became saturated, and the weight of it was simply too much for the 100-pound Pantazopoulos, who began to sink to the bottom. The photographer and a witness tried to save her but were unsuccessful. A scuba diver later found Pantzopoulos' body at the bottom of a nearby stagnant pool of water.


8. The women who died after the wedding limo caught fire
In 2013, nine women in a limo, including the bride-to-be, were caught in a tragic fire that started burning just as the car was crossing the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge near San Francisco. Five of the women were burnt alive including Felomina Geronga, Jennifer Balon, 39, of Dublin; Michelle Estrera, 35, of Fresno; Anna Alcantara, 46, of San Lorenzo; and bride Neriza Fojas, 31, of Monterey. They were headed to a party in Foster City to celebrate Fojas' nuptials when the blaze started.

9. A woman was killed and four people were injured by rogue bullets during a wedding celebration
Celebratory gunfire during a wedding ceremony in India went horribly wrong when one guest was killed, and four others were injured. The dramatic incident took place at Savitiri Marriage Hall, in Karnal district, Haryana, northern India, in November 2016.

Wedding guests started firing shots into the air soon after the ceremony to celebrate, which is a tradition. The party, however, soon turned tragic when guest Sunita, 48, was accidentally shot in the chest and died later in hospital. Four other guests were injured, including an 11-year-old girl, and they were all rushed to a nearby hospital in a critical condition.

Producers always put words out whenever there is audition or when there is a need for fresh talents. Attend as many as possible, you will only need one movie, one role to make your mark.

The benefit of audition is that it helps you to get exposed to movie makers. And that’s multiple choice, in case this doesn’t work, you will get to know about another. Until you get a role, don’t stop.

THE X Factor has unwittingly played cupid to many relationships between contestants over the years.

Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards met on the show, as did Liam Payne and Cheryl, and Diana Vickers and Eoghan Quigg.
But another couple may have been unearthed, as one of the final 12 contestants from this year’s show has been found to be having a secret gay romance with someone connected to the show.
According to the Daily Star, which has chosen not to name the individuals, the competitor in question has reportedly been spending a lot of time with their mystery lover.
An insider told the site: "All the contestants have a day off on a Thursday as a rest day.

“This star saw it as a perfect excuse to spend every Wednesday night away.
“They knew that the live shows are the most important part of the series as they had so much to rehearse, but it seems they had a one-track mind.”

Unfortunately, the romance might not last, as the source hinted there had previously been trouble between the pair.
“They kept telling the fellow contestant that they love them, but it's just words,” they added.

“The duo have now kissed and made up.”
The singing hopefuls were also described as being “like dogs on heat”.

Another source previously told the publication that while the judges have been kept in the dark, their families know all about it.

Great bosses share similar traits -- they're clear communicators, good listeners and confident decision makers, for instance -- but as many of us can attest, each bad (or just difficult-to-work-with) boss is bad in his own way.

Nonetheless, some boss personality types are so recognizable that they've been immortalized in pop culture. Here's how to deal with five of them:

1. The Authoritative Boss (e.g., Don Draper, Mad Men)
The authoritative boss is the ultimate risk taker and has a flair for drama. On the downside, he can be a poor communicator. He's creative and perceptive, but he's also suspicious of others.

"Most important is to acknowledge how clever they are, how they seek justice and how they find really good shortcuts to get the work done," says leadership and communication expert Sylvia Lafair, author of Don't Bring It to Work.

Lynn Taylor, author of Tame Your Terrible Office Tyrant and CEO of Lynn Taylor Consulting, suggests that when dealing with someone who is suspicious, you should "get specific" and allow little room for misinterpretation. She also suggests putting communication in an email to prevent miscommunication.

2. The Narcissistic Boss (e.g., Miranda Priestly, The Devil Wears Prada)

The narcissistic boss is hugely self-entitled -- often justifiably so. She puts herself on a pedestal far above subordinates, of whom she is ruthlessly critical. She does not welcome feedback and has little empathy.

Taylor recommends using what she calls the "CALM" method (Communicate, Anticipate, Laugh and Manage Up) with these bosses.

"Communicate frequently, honestly and regularly with aggressive bosses, so you understand what's behind all the blustering,” she says. “Anticipate problems before they occur or become more stressful [and don't encourage a tantrum with bad timing, either]. Taylor also suggests laughter. "A little levity goes a long way when tensions are running high," she says. "Manage up by being a role model of good behavior, using positive and negative reinforcement as you would with a child."

3. The Everyman Boss (e.g., Michael Scott, The Office)

This boss is likable enough, but he's sometimes inappropriate. He manages from the gut, and he's just too wishy-washy to lead effectively.

Janet Civitelli, workplace psychologist at VocationVillage.com, says one of the best strategies for dealing with an indecisive boss is to train him into realizing that decisions aren't so scary. "Indecision often stems from fear of making a mistake or looking bad, so try to find ways to help your boss shine," she says.

Vicky Oliver, author of 301 Smart Answers to Tough Business Etiquette Questions, suggest using your boss’s lack of leadership abilities as an opportunity for yourself. “Take the lead in the discussion, but stay detached from any particular outcome,” she says. “Use logic, rather than unbridled passion."

4. The Autocratic Boss (e.g., Vito Corleone, The Godfather)

Regardless of his physicality, Lafair describes this boss as "large and in charge." He is cruel (even a bit of a bully) and sometimes very frightening.

"The best way to handle these bosses is to let them know you appreciate how they have situations under control,” Lafair says. “[Demonstrate that] you're willing to be another pair of eyes, so that when chaos and anxiety are stirring, you can be available to help find ways to calm situations down."

5. The Pace-Setting Boss (e.g., Donald Trump, The Apprentice)

This is the boss who creates a competitive environment at work. He sets very high goals and standards -- and is very demanding of employees.

With a boss who sets hard-to-achieve goals, ask for as many details as possible, says Andy Kanefield, co-author of Uncommon Sense. "Ask for details about what it means, what the steps look like, who they've seen that has done it well,” he says. “Try to get a picture of what success looks like."

Then, Lafair says, you should acknowledge how much you appreciate those clear goals -- "and then the great policies and procedures fall into place."

The quiet neighbourhood of Rukuba Road, along Satellite Market was awaken by a loud noise coming from a story building house along the road.


Early this morning, a resident of a house on the street rose up, packed all his property and those of his younger brother who lives with him and then locked both of them inside the room. He then poured kerosene in the room and on his brother in a bid to set the room ablaze. It was the smell of the kerosene that woke the brother who was still asleep. The brother then started shouting and got the attention of the remaining tenants in the house who forcefully broke in and rescued the younger brother whose feet and hands were tied.

The furious tenants and the neighbors overpowered the perpetrator and tied to the pole outside to restrain him from burning the building.


The tenants said that the man tied to the pole was mentally challenged. They explained that sometimes, he behaves normally and other times has spells of insanity which results in leaving destruction in his wake.



The best thing they could do to save the whole building today is to restrain him by tying him up with a padlocked chain. The younger brother was very scared that he could not talk to anybody, he was just sited crying.
It is advisable that psychiatric access should be given to this sufferer and he should be committed for treatment of proper medical management.

LESSON INTRODUCTION
After salvation, the deep cry of every heart should be for holiness, to be like Christ, to overcome sin and to live a blameless and holy life. Some Christians try to be holy and at times they do not succeed so they become discouraged. They become fearful of preaching holiness lest they be seen as preaching something they cannot practice. Some Christians have never ever heard of the victorious life of holiness so they continue sinning and confessing from day to day.

The Bible teaches glorious victory over sin for every believer. In John 5:4, John was not speaking about victory in Heaven but of victory on earth; daily victory over the world and the lusts thereof.

LESSON OUTLINE 1: CLAIMING THE PROMISES OF GOD

How can believers obtain and retain victory over sin?

i. Identify that we can do all things by Christ Jesus and that without Him we can only do nothing- Phillip 4:13; John15:5

They also came just after a Clinton Foundation employee had brokered a meeting between Salman and Hillary. According to the Wall Street Journal, this may have been done with the express intent of enriching the Clintons’ associates.Hillary Clinton vigorously denies any wrongdoing, saying the Foundation chose EPS on merit. But it’s not hard to see this as inappropriate. EPS is a for-profit company, so stakeholders benefit financially from such deals. Stakeholders for EPS include Bill Clinton’s personal friend Julie Tauber McMahon, plus the Democratic National Committee treasurer and Democratic operative Mark Wiener. All potentially profited from the Clinton Foundation deal.

A basic requirement for Secretary of State is the ability to handle classified information. During her tenure at the State Department, Hillary not only mishandled sensitive documents—she possibly let them fall into the hands of foreign hackers.While Secretary of State, Hillary used a private server to store emails containing classified information.

She used multiple, unsecured devices to access them and sent many to other people’s private email addresses, including one later found to have been compromised by hackers possibly linked to Russia. Her staffers even lost a laptop full of confidential archived emails in the post. Hillary later said she was “unaware” of the procedures surrounding classified information. As excuses go, that’s like saying you shouldn’t be arrested for insider trading because you were “unaware” it was illegal.

5. Hypocrisy On Boycotts
Clinton recently tweeted her support for a boycott of North Carolina over its transgender bathroom laws. Not six months earlier, Hillary made a speech savaging anyone taking part in the boycotts against Israel for its treatment of Palestinians. We don’t want to make a value judgment on either cause. Whether you support them is up to you. But it is hypocritical to attack a boycott as a method of protest for one of the two while allowing it for the other. The sudden delight in boycotts was perhaps Clinton cynically jumping on the progressive bandwagon to win back some wavering Sanders voters.

On December 3, 2015, Hillary Clinton tweeted: “Every survivor of sexual assault deserves to be heard, believed, and supported.” There’s one rape survivor Hillary has refused to believe: Juanita Broaddrick. The man Broaddrick accuses of raping her is Bill Clinton.The allegations have never been proven. The point here is not whether it happened or not. The point is that Broaddrick’s story is at least as consistent as that of many other assault victims. And if Clinton thinks all survivors should be believed, that entails believing Broaddrick. Yet Hillary goes further than just not believing her. She denigrates her case, making it sound like the fantasies of a deluded woman. She does the exact things she deplores others doing to assault survivors.

3. Defending A Child Rapist
In 1975, Hillary Rodham defended a 41-year-old factory worker accused of raping a 12-year-old girl. As a court-appointed lawyer, Hillary had a duty to take the case. She did have a choice in how she presented her client’s defense, and she chose to do that by putting a 12-year-old rape victim through hell.Those are the exact words of the child whose life Hillary dragged through the mud. Still anonymous 41-years later, the victim claims Hillary went to insane lengths to discredit her. She said the child was a fantasist, that she craved sex with older men, that she came from a broken home and constantly claimed men were abusing her. These are all claims the victim says are verifiably untrue.

Despite claiming to be fit and healthy, Clinton has suffered more health scandals in the past few months than you can shake a proverbial stick at.The most obvious is Clinton’s recent bout of pneumonia, which caused her to collapse during a 9/11 memorial ceremony. There are others, too. In January, Hillary suffered a severe sinus infection that required the insertion of a myringotomy tube. In March, she underwent a brain scan. Perhaps most shockingly of all, she claimed the screw-ups with her emails were due to a 2012 concussion that scrambled her mind. These are all potentially serious for someone pushing 70. What’s even more serious is that she lied about them.

There are strict limits on how much campaigns can raise per person. Some PACs are allowed to raise more, as they spend on more than one candidate (an Obama fund might also splash money on down-ballot Democrats, for example). Hill PAC was supposedly one such PAC. Yet the Intercept found only 11 percent of its funds went to candidates. The rest went to buying trivial stuff off Hillary’s presidential campaign for eye-watering sums—sums that, conveniently, helped pay off her ’08 campaign’s massive debts. For example, Hill PAC paid $822,492 to “rent” a list of contact details off Hillary ’08, way above market price. That money went straight to Hillary’s flagging presidential campaign.
