PoliticsRe: CRITICAL Reasons Why I Think "Chibok Girls" Is A SCAM And No Girl Was Kidnapped by aperture11:
Dear all who doubt, please support GEJ, I would most likely vote for him too, but on a matter this sensitive, DO NOT tribalize or politicize it. I know families looking for their children and you are here saying there was no abduction. God forgive you. I won't comment on this thread again. I weep deep within for Nigeria. Politics and tribalism has finally eroded the last piece of humanity we have left. Dear Lord help us.

What is sad is that most commenting have never been to Borno or even the North.

oho!

Even if it is possible in Nigeria, come on! Not in Northern Nigeria. Not in Borno state where all their concern is koran at least.

Those gurls can't even speak English to say the least. Excepting they will write the exam in hausa though.
Ignorance on rampage. Live outside your small world. You have never been to Borno state from your statement because otherwise your comment wouldn't even make sense to you. You stay in the south and assume you know what is happening up north. Pathetic

How can 270 people be writing waec at the same time? Is it the whole village that's using that centre for exam? I can't imagine a school with 270 s.s.3 students.
14 years ago, I wrote my WAEC Exams, we were 418. Do not use your small world to judge events. Actually sad that I am having to quote you in my comments.

That marriage is a disaster waiting to happen. It won't be long before they add to the divorce statistics.

This post will never make frontpage because Nairaland has been compromised. I have it on authoritative ground that the founder of Nairaland has been compromised.
Christianity EtcRe: The Truth About Christ Embassy Healing School by aperture11:
Hmm. This is quite funny. Every news about Pastor Chris sells. There has to be something about this man. Either people are just criticizing what they don't understand or they just purely hate him. If this man were from the domain of darkness as some people propose, you think it would be this obvious?

I am not a huge supporter but I have experienced miracles and I do believe in miracles whether from Pastor Chris or someone else who uses the name of Jesus. Jesus Christ said, this signs shall follow them that believe; In my name they shall cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues, they shall take up serpents, they shall lay hands on the sick and the sick would recover, if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them. Mark 16: 17-18.

The simple truth is this if you have never worked a miracle or personally experienced one, you will doubt. If God has ever used you or made you experience one, you will believe, blessed are they who see not and yet believe for the word's sake.

You either believe Jesus Christ or you don't. If Pastor Chris is from the devil, why don't you leave that to God to judge, you want to fight the Lord's battle with carnal reasoning.

I also wonder why the MOD suddenly brought this old news to FP. I think you motives are questionable.

1money: congratz to the students. This is great news, the type of news we need in our country.

Btw, those saying they are schooling abroad, u r wrong. They are students of Doregos Private Academy, Ipaja Lagos. They went for competition in USA. tongue
Finally, someone who actually read and understood the article. Wondering if some people here did English comprehension because it isn't so obvious with the way they commented.

Now I get why people fail English Language when they write their WAEC examinations.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Administration: An Ally Of Corruption by aperture11: 4:42am On Aug 21, 2014
I seriously pity Nigerian youths. Following this thread actually made me sad. I am apolitical and a simple question like this actually need not be political. The OP stated facts or presumed facts, if you want to knock off his argument present facts and stop this politicization of every thread.

I didn't vote for Jonathan in 2011 but I might vote for him next year because I haven't seen a better candidate as at now and I will choose a lesser evil, but he has been super lax on corruption. That is the fact as I see it. Even he encapsulates that belief when he said "all these things they are calling corruption is ordinary stealing".

It is important for clear reasoning people to stop defending the defenceless.

BusinessRe: CBN Reintroduces N65 Charges On Cash Withdrawals On ‘other Banks’ Atms by aperture11: 8:42am On Aug 14, 2014
Sincerely, the solution to this problem is too obvious that some minds can't comprehend it.

The banks just need to stop charging each other fees and there won't be a need for anyone to pay charges.

The CBN can then formulate and implement a statute that every bank should have ATMs based on their customer base. i.e. If GTB has 10miilion account holders then there should be one ATM per x customers and the concentration should be on the number of account holders in respective locations.

This goes to other banks too. I am not a financial analyst but this is is just too obvious. It is common sense, but like they say, it isn't common.

MaziOmenuko: I believe the article says the charges will be on a 4th withdrawal within same month. Proper planning will save you the stress and charges of using an ATM 4 times in a month.

Honestly, most ATM outside the bank premises don't have cash on weekends because the banks don't see any need to fund their machines for others to use it up. This new policy will encourage banks to open more outlets and it will be easier for us the users.
Proper planning means you have to stock up on cash which is a retrogression on the cashless policy and that is the problem.
