While the dad could be a terrible person, a good mother would find a way to make sure the child is shielded from MOST of it. With all due respect sir, under GEJ, the situation COULD have been worse, he MIGHT NOT have the guts to plug the holes. The situation right now has nothing to do with Buhari, APC or PDP, you can try to politicize it all you want, it has everything to do with you and I and our insatiable desire for foreign products. I would recommend a free market for both the supply and demand side. Meaning the CBN allows more from the supply side. The CBN can then create a parallel market where they OBSERVE the buying and selling of the dollar. This is different from the CBN actually selling. The sources the banks currently get their dollars from now and the banks actually trade under the observation of the CBN. This will give us the true value of the Naira.

This would also increase the supply side of things and try to balance out the price.

The CBN and the banks need to be more sincere and not think about this in disparate measures as is but it needs to be thorough in thinking of its approach. This trial and error economic measures is killing Nigeria faster than Emefiele can think.

You finally get my point. You see you don't believe what I believe but that doesn't make me or you wrong or false. It is based on your understanding or mine at this time. Maybe we will both get better revelations about it later. I won't go around calling you false prophet because of it and you shouldn't go around calling me false prophet because of it. I thank God for you, you need to be a spiritual free thinker to get the best out of Christianity. You should however ensure that you discount preconceived notions when you study the word. My understanding of the scripture has been in increasing measures and when I have greater revelation, I put away the old revelation and run with the new revelation. That is the beauty of our walk with God, revelation is progressive and it is from glory to glory.
Consider Pastor Kumuyi, there was a time he felt TV was evil and today he has a TV ministry, it takes humility to leave what you've always believed and embrace greater revelation.

This is exactly what I was trying to tell you. You do not read the Bible to understand, you read to criticize. smh. Paul was making a case that the gift of prophesy is higher than speaking in tongues. You successfully ignored the part where he said "For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries".1Cor 14:2 You see what it means, which I have explained to you is that when you speak to the brethren in tongues you MUST interpret but when you speak unto God, you don't need to because God understands you. The speaking in tongues is a gift, Paul said, Do all speak in tongues 1 Cor 12:30, that you or your Pastor doesn't have the gift doesn't make those who have it evil and it doesn't make you less of a Christian either. It is the Holy Spirit that gives these gifts and does so according to the assignment we've been given.

My brother, your walk with Christ will be largely ineffective if you don't have the right attitude to studying the word. Also, do not read the word of God out of context, don't pick verses that agree with your opinion, that is what your understanding is about the part in Chapter 13:8 which says tongues will cease. You read that part alone and you are quoting it forgetting that it is actually a verse in a chapter.

I pray that God will grant you deeper revelation of his word that your walk in Christ might be effective, but you need to drop this attitude to get that understanding. Have a Blessed life!

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels but do not love, I have become a sounding piece of brass or a clashing cymbal. Love never fails. But whether there are gifts of prophesying.... Whether there are tongues,they will CEASE.(1 corinthians 13:1, Yes the tongue will cease at the end of time, in fact all the spiritual gifts will cease because it will be useless in heaven but LOVE will persist. That is what the scripture means.

Does the Bible mention speaking in tongues with interpretation? He was talking about speaking to the congregation in tongues and not when you pray. When you pray you should speak in tongues more than in your understanding.

I can tell you about a friend who learns how to speak in tongues. All who speak in tongues today don't understand what they are saying. Speaking in tongues was a practical means to spread the good news within short period.(Acts 1: The Holy spirit is supposed to give utterances, you shouldn't learn it but the holy spirit can still take over from there. Speaking in tongues goes beyond just spreading the good news in a short period, it is a language - an heavenly language inspired of the Holy Spirit. You can speak to God anytime you want with that language. The devil doesn't understand you when you do.

You see today speaking in tongues today has been the order of the day. Before a pastor preaches today he had already started making tongues. What are we talking about self? You should desire that you get there where the Holy Spirit takes over before you start reasoning things out with your mind.

While Paul was trying to make a strong case for prophecy because it is a higher gift, he made some salient points about speaking in tongues too. Infact he said I thank my God that I speak in tongues more than ye all. Interpretation of tongues is a gift too and some people do have them.

I have explained to you earlier my brother, that there are 2 manifestations of speaking in tongues. If you have heard of the Azusa conference of 1904, there was manifestation of the 2. My brother, it is important that we run this race personally, discount what you've been told by your pastors and ask God for accurate knowledge of his word. He will grant it to you. The Holy Spirit teaches us all things.
Personally, I speak in tongues and I see the benefits everyday, the testimonies are endless. If you say someone is learning the thing or faking it, let them, the Holy Spirit can take over from there.

The Acts2:6 you are quoting is a manifestation and 1 Corinthians 14 expantiates on it. It talks about speaking to God, no man understands him but he speaks mysteries. The Bible specifically called it angelic tongues.

I fact on that day of Pentecost, the people first thought they were drunk because they didn't understand them then much later started hearing them speak their own language. Please read your bible well and stop relying on just what your GO says and preaches.
