Foreign AffairsRe: Photos: Heavy U.S Military Equipments Arrives Germany Against Russian. by aperture11: 9:04am On Jan 13, 2017
I see a lot of people actually think that Russian military can even stand up to the US alone let alone the whole of NATO.

It is delusion of the highest order. Military spend, weapons arsenal and numbers Russia can't even stand.
Even the nuclear capabilities you talk about, the US has way more nuclear warheads that Russia (Google it please). The 2 nations has a treaty for disarmament that Russia pulls out of frequently as a bargaining chip but the US still has way more.

I dislike the US because they try to control everything to their own advantage i.e current oil prices to cut Russian funds. It pays the whole world for America's influence to be curtailed but not by Russia.

I won't deceive myself to think that Russia can handle US or NATO in any capability.

That is the head of a Tasmanian Devil but the body makes the animal strange. It could be a new specie or even a new class of animal not known to man before. Please mummify it so scientists can identify it.

Car TalkRe: Lagos Number Plate Abbreviations & What They Mean by aperture11: 5:06pm On Oct 30, 2016
Find below the corrections. Before you argue please do your due diligence and ask Google

jidedoKQ:
Many people like me actually look at the three alphabets on Nigerian number plates and wonder what they stand for. Actually they stand for Local Governments or their headquarters. Since Lagos is one of the most popular cities (If not the most popular), lets start with Lagos number plates.

SMK- Somolu Local Government
JJJ = Ojo Local Government
KJA = Ikeja Local Government
AAA = Lagos Island LGA (HQ at Adeniji Adele)
FKJ = Ifako Ijaiye *
AKD = Akodo/Ibeju Lekki Local Government (the council Headquarters is in Akodo)
LND = Lagos Mainland Local Government
KTU = Alimosho Local Government (HQ at Ikotun)
BDG = Badagry Local Government
EKY = Eti-Osa/Ikoyi Local Government (the council headquarters is in Ikoyi)
KRD = Ikorodu Local Government
EPE = Epe Local Government
MUS = Mushin Local Government
GGE = Agege Local Government
LSR = Surulere Local Government
LSD = Oshodi Isolo Local Government
KSF = Kosofe Local Government (Ketu is under this LGA)
AGL = Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government(HQ at Ajegunle)
APP = Apapa Local Government
FST = Festac

Corrections and additional comments is welcome. Thank you
EducationRe: University Of Calabar Lecturer Princewill Odum Wins 2016 Global Innovation Award by aperture11: 4:47am On Oct 27, 2016
Everyone who studied in the UK or has any form of British education knows you can't submit any paper without first checking your Turnitin score for integrity. This isn't innovative, I actually thought he created something like Athena for Nigerian students.

Well at least he introduced the idea to his school and the award was apparently from Turnitin.

The Phantom 6 is still a crappy phone, the 6 Plus though might be worth it but don't forget that you won't get OTA when you do, so no Nougat 7.0 for you.

Which principles? Sowing and reaping? Miracles? Positive confession? Ha!ha!ha!

Principles of prosperity, signs and wonders that most times gratify the flesh and give rise to mad guest for materialism, worldiliness, mundane things, etc. Compare them with the teachings of men like Gbile Akani and see.

See folk, there are laws and ordinances that GOD has instituted in that whether you are born-again or not, they work for you.
His passion for soul winning is what I'm talking about, making money is easy with or without the word.
Christianity EtcRe: Anita Oyakhilome Remarries - Dawn-To-Dusk News by aperture11: 1:30am On Oct 17, 2016
This is quite unfortunate. God guide us all. I left the church a few years ago but I can tell you that the foundational principles of Christ as taught from the bible by this man of God I know now, I learnt in that church. I still use the principles and it works.

I strongly believe mistakes were made and the human element took over.

I pray continue to guide us all. The story doesn't ring true though, but if it is, I wish them both well.

You guys will never learn.

Where does that 30% extra come from? What multiplied your investment since you are providing help? If indeed you are providing help would you do it without the 30%, If not it is a greedy scheme that would fail eventually.

Forget the emotional help angle to it. It is just playing on your psyche. It is still a Ponzi scheme and a lot of people will cry at the end. Please build your house with the sweat of those that will cry later. This is worse than the banks that you guys castigate. Believe me.
End of!
Car TalkRe: Is It Possible For A Car Doing 120/km To Overtake Another At The Same Speed? by aperture11: 8:12am On Oct 15, 2016
I totally understand the op. Speed is speed no matter what, but the calibration of these cars can be largely inaccurate especially if you've worked on the engine in the past.

So while the Odometer says 120km/h it is actually doing 80km/h.

WebmastersRe: Responsive Emails - To Implement Or Not To Implement by aperture11: 6:28am On Aug 08, 2016
Responsive HTML emails are actually the standard these days. The trend is to design for mobile first as most people view their emails on their mobile phone especially in our market where 83% access the Internet from mobile.
You will need to test really well though as different email clients interpret the codes in different ways and Gmail just dumps your email under the "Promotions" tab which no one really cares to open.
The open rate is also generally higher for responsive emails as opposed to the standard HTML emails.
The only thing that annoys me though is why we have to use tables for layout in HTML emails. If you use Divs and style it, email clients generally strip off your CSS, even when you use inline CSS sometimes.

Science/TechnologyRe: Look At This Dolphin That Was Caught And Killed In Delta State by aperture11: 4:49pm On Jul 06, 2016
Which way Naija? Illiteracy is indeed a disease. This is the Bottle-Nose Dolphin and it is probably the most intelligent specie of dolphin, very friendly and probably didn't think it would be killed. While it isn't endangered, there are efforts around the world to curb its killing.
