So, my 1 year old A5 pro died few minutes ago.
I was chatting on WhatsApp when it went off. Tried powering up the phone but refused to come up, plugged in the charger, nothing showed on screen. It's sitting lifeless in front of me right now.

So I'm going to be living without a Smartphone till only God knows when , I have a Nokia E63 for receiving calls used in typing this too.

I no fit use my final year project money take buy phone. Make I just dey live like that. It's funny and painful too. Lol

My A7 did exact thing, died and couldn't power on.

While charging mine, the back of the phone was little hot showing that the phone was actually charging but the screen was blank.

Left it to charge for some more time and tried powering it, it displayed an error requesting that the phone be formated which I cancel.

The phone booted and everything went back to normal

Used my Umigidi A7 till the phone dropped dead, plgged it in to charge but, powered it one when it was 1%.

It showed android is starting and tripped off. Has refused to charge or power on since then.

The thing just display one kind yeye error message, come dey prompt me to perform factory reset. I just say make I try luck say if the error persist I go come format am. BOOOOOM it came back on.

Mine has been at 1% since 8pm,

Current playing music via boomplay

Active internet connection via WiFi

Twitter, telegram, WhatsApp and WA business been running since then.

Just realized anyone can access it from the Google drive app in my phone, hence the need to hide it.

Please how do you change the enable privacy lock in Umigidi A7.

Like locking some apps such that it request password or finger print validation before it grants access.

I used to do this with my other phone through phone manager but can't find it in Umi

Since both are not the same screen size, does it mean that the case for the A7 Pro will not be the same for the A7?

Since the parts are scarce I decided to buy the leather pack for added protection. (Shipped from abroad).

The phone is expected to land on Thursday while pack is expected to land on 30th of this month.
