LiteratureRe: Continuation Of My Madam And I(from Family Group And Sexuality). by Apeshy102: 12:42am On Jan 13, 2020
topher052:
THE STORY BEGINS HERE......

I went to Ruth’s cell and found the girls together on one side screaming in fear.

“Ruth! Ruth!”. I called, looking to find her amongst the girls.

“Mike! Is that you”. She called from inside the cell.

The dust in the air and smoke couldn’t allow me see clearly, but at least I could recognize her voice.

“it’s me, come out let’s go!”. I said forcing my head in-between the bar of the cell.

She came out looking circumspectly, and when she was able to recognize me, perhaps noticed I was alone, she rushed towards me and said in a scared tone.

“Mike what’s going on? Get me out of here? Is it another rebellion? Get me out of here please”. She was visibly shaking in fear.

Soon, other girls joined in begging me to open the cell door. I rushed back to find a key coz the padlock was a huge size. I returned with a rock that was used to hold one of the doors steady. I hit it with my all my strength several times and hurt my finger in the process, the rock fell and hit my toes.

“are you okay?’’. Ruth asked.

I nodded after robbing my toes that was hurting really bad.

I went into each offices looking for something else to use, and found a huge metal. On my way back, I found three police men walking into the station. I immediately hid myself behind the door of the office.

“Man! Look at this mess!”. One of the men said in a coaxed voice.

“are you girls okay?” another asked.

No response from the ladies. I heard footstep walking pass the office to where my cell was. And a shout followed with footsteps running towards the cell.

“what is it?’’ asked another voice.

“we are in big soup!”. Said the second voice.

“what soup? Are we supposed to stay and die?”. Said the third voice.

“who were those guys?”. Asked the first voice.

“I think they’re part of the rebellion. That old man is among the top ranking officers of the rebellion”. Said the third.

“Then why bring him to this station? This is not the station to handle such cases “. Yelled the first voice.

“we didn’t know who he was until this evening”. Said the third.

“let’s look around and see if anyone needs help”. Said the second voice.

They walked towards the office, opened the door I was hiding behind, looked into the office and walked pass.

I sneaked out of my hiding and tiptoed towards the entrance and spotted them moving broken things off the way. There was no way out save for the one entrance.

Ruth whistled, and I turned towards her. She pointed me towards the counter. I didn’t get what she meant until she whispered “key”. I could make out what she meant through the movement of her mouth.

“God! Kelly!”. One of the police men shouted.

I turned towards them and found them moving some blocks and dragging a colleague of theirs out of it. The officer looked dead to me, at least their attention was somewhere else, and so I moved carefully, staying out of sight towards where Ruth was pointing. I got there unnoticed and found someone’s leg. And when I traced it to the body, it was a corpse of a police officer. That sent cold chill down my spine as I retreated and hit the counter making a loud noise.

“what’s that?’’. Asked one first voice.

“help us please!”.

One of Ruth’s cellmate shouted from her cell. And the rest followed.

“leave these girls alone please”. Said the second voice.

“hello sir….yes we were badly hit….yes sir….we are still checking sir…..okay sir”. The first voice said.

“who was that”. Said the third voice.

“the DPO”. Said the first voice.

“I hope he sends someone soon”. Said the second voice.

I remained still until they walked away. And when they had gone, Ruth whistled and beckoned me over. I rushed to the cell and tried three keys in tremulous fingers before the forth opened it.

The girls hid behind me as soon as they were out, 5 in number including Ruth. I wasn’t prepared to be a leader in this escape plan, but from the look of things, it was already saddled on me.

I walked carefully to the entrance door and peeped. I could make out the police men in the dark, though they seem to be too occupied moving things to notice.

The station has big compound and the gate was far from it. I beckoned the girls to follow me as I ran towards where they packed confiscated cars and hid behind a dilapidated lorry , the girls joined me. I looked to catch of glimpse of the police men, but they were no longer in sight, and so we ran towards the gate but stopped when I notice spectators and onlookers . And immediately hid behind a car.

“Damn!”. I said breathing heavily.

“Let’s take the other way”. Said one of the girls.

“Which way?” I asked.

“The back exit. Though we have to go through the fence”. Another of the girls added.

“what are we waiting for, let’s go”. I said abruptly.

“what if they see us?”. Ruth asked.

“it’s dark, it should be like mid night they won’t”. I said and stood up. “let’s go”.

As we were running, one of the girls fell. She stumbled over a corpse and let out a little scream, but controlled it in time. That was when I noticed two other corpse lying around.

“let’s go!”. I said and continued running.

We haven’t gone far when the sound of sirens filled the car.

“hurry up!’’ I yelled, as I ran.

We got to the side of the building we were meant to escape from. One of the slim ladies jumped and threw herself over to the other side. Another was struggling with the fence while I assisted Ruth who was sluggish about it, eventually she made it to the other side. I was now left with two ladies, one was extremely fat and the other was short and moderate but clumsy. I helped the clumsy one, giving all my strength to it and that was when the sound of sirens entered the station and footsteps filled the air. I pushed her over and when she was gone, I looked at the fat one who shook her head, meaning “I can’t make it”.

“come on, you have to try”. I said.

“don’t worry, make case is bail able. Go! I’ll be fine, go before they get here”. The fat lady said hurriedly.

I jumped and held the top of the fence, pulled myself up and jumped on the other side. As I was landing I heard.

“who’s there?”.

“it’s me! It’s me! Don’t shoot please”. The fat lady’s voice was heard.

I found only Ruth and another lady waiting for me. Immediately, I dragged Ruth by her wrist and took off while the other lady followed from behind.

PoliticsPDP To APC: Your Insult On Jonathan Misdirected by Apeshy102(op): 9:39pm On Oct 06, 2019
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reacted to the a statement made by the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in the ewake of David Cameroun's book Lauch which dragged the immediate past President of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Jonathan.

Reacting through a statement Sunday by the spokesman for the PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, the party said the distortions and groundless attack on President Jonathan was a desperate tactic by the APC and the Buhari Presidency to divert public attention from the recent shocking corruption and fraud revelations in which close relatives and confidants of Mr. President were mentioned.

Read the statement below;
“The PDP has been made aware of how the Presidency has been in a frenzy to suppress investigations and deflect public enquiries from the arrest of President Buhari’s known confidant deported from the United Kingdom for alleged international passport scam and money laundering, as it knows that an inquest will further expose the huge rot in the Buhari Presidency.

“Our party has equally been made aware of how the APC and the Buhari Presidency have been desperate to divert public attention from the administration’s obnoxious decision to further oppress Nigerians by reintroducing tollgates on our highway, increasing Value Added Tax (VAT), electricity bill and other tariffs as well as their despicable plot to sack government workers.

“The PDP charges the APC and the Buhari Presidency to perish the idea of thinking that this unnecessary distortions on the Jonathan administration would bury the demand for an inquest into the Danu racket through which billions of naira meant for the wellbeing of Nigerians are allegedly being diverted to private purses.

“The PDP invites Nigerians to note how the APC had remained silent since revelations that its key leaders and the cabal at the Presidency are involved in the stealing of over N14 trillion meant for the wellbeing of Nigerians”

The party challenged the APC and the Buhari Presidency to speak out on the alleged diversion of the N500bn meant for the Social Investment Programme among other “humongous fraud” directly perpetrated under the Buhari Presidency.

“Furthermore, in trying to tar the PDP, the APC forgets that it is already common knowledge that all the bad eggs that brought a bad name to the PDP have since left our repositioned party to the APC where their National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, who also has a huge corruption allegation on his neck, admitted that the party is a haven for corrupt persons.

“More over, the fact that President Buhari can only surround himself with persons openly indicted for corruption, as ministers and advisers, speaks volume of the administration’s posturing on corruption.

“The PDP therefore charges the APC not to think that it can cover its mess by trying to make unfounded allegations against President Goodluck Jonathan and the PDP as Nigerians can now see through their shenanigans”,

Authorities of Government Girls Science Technical College Dapchi, where Leah Sharibu was abducted alongside over 100 other female has been shut for the fear of a repeat of 21 March, 2018 incident.

This is coming after Saturday’s Boko Haram attack on Babangida in Tarmuwa Local Government Area of Yobe State.
The Chairman of Abducted Dapchi School Girls’ Parents Alhaji Bashir Manzo confirmed that the PTA in conjunction with the parents of the Abducted Dapchi School Girls and the management of the school took that decision to avert the looming danger of attack on the school.

Manzo said, “It is true that the school has been closed down for now because of the recent developments that are going on around the town.

“Last Thursday, the military commander in Dapchi instructed that the girls should be moved out of the hostel.

“They were evacuated to the house of the District Head. The military told us that some Boko Haram elements were sighted at Sasawa and therefore the school girls should be kept safe.

“For the second time again, the soldiers came and instructed for the evacuation of the girls to the house of the District Head where they slept.

“Now following what happened in Babangida yesterday and the recent developments, we sat down with the PTA and decided that the children should just go home pending when adequate security measures will be taken.

“We gathered the students and addressed them and gave them transport fare to go back to their houses.

“We have written a letter which will be sent to the SSS, police, and the permanent Secretary of Ministry of education on the decision that we have taken. This is the reason why GGSTC Dapchi is closed for now,”

News9naija reports that only 50 girls have been rescued so far.

Performance of South Eastern national assembly members within the last 100 days in office.

Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah.
https://www.news9naija.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Ifeanyi-Uba.jpg
The YPP is leading the pack. He has demonstrated his capacity to deliver. Apart from his push to revatalise the Igbo economy, his motion to investigate crude oil revenue loss as adopted by the senate. He has equally presented a bill which has passed through the first reading. It is a bill to amend the Deep Offshore and Inland Basin Production Sharing Contract.

Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah of YPP is doing well and deserves our commendation.

Senator Stella Adaeze Oduah.
https://www.news9naija.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/stella-odua.jpg

The PDP senator representing Anambra north is another proud achiever. She is always too quiet to be noticed but she is achieving results and making her constituents happy. She has sponsored a motion on the Regulation and Standardization of Traditional Medicine to Augment Orthodox Medicine to ensure affordable healthcare for Nigerians. The motion will address the poor health indices that threatens majority of Nigerians.

Thank you Princess Oduah, you are doing us proud.

Hon Ifeanyi Ibezi

He is representing Umu Idemili. Hon Ibezi is living up to promises. As a result of Hon Ibezi’s motion on the decongestion and reactivation of Nigeria’s ports, the House of Representatives constituted an adhoc committee on ports decongestion and reactivation. Through his effort, the adhoc committee visited our Onitsha inland port. He has followed it up with a petition to the House to look into the concession of the Onitsha River port.

Hon Ibezi Ifeanyichukwu was prepared for this job and he is delivering.

Hon Chinedu Obidigwe
https://www.news9naija.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Hon-Chinedu-Obidigwe.jpg

He is another National Assembly member that’s making incursions into keeping to his campaign promises. He has been brave speaking at the floor of the House, raising issues of national importance. Against all odds, he has done well within the last 100 days. He should keep it up.

Worst Performing Law Makers

Senator Ike Ekweremadu seems to have been weighed down since his Germany experience. Nothing to commend him for in the last 100.

It is same with senator Chukwuka Utazi representing Nsukka zone. He has not shown any capacity to deliver within the last 100 days.

Senator Chimaroke Nnamani of Enugu east senatorial zone has been quite vocal in the senate. He is trying to make up his abysmal tenure at the senate between 2007-2011.

News9naija will review other lawmakers in next edition
