If it were a manual, I would have recommended the primera. I drive one myslef, and can attest to its ruggedness. however becuae of the auto -ish, avoid.

I'll choose the accord. Reason? Personal preference. I don't know much about primera, but I prefer interior set up of the accord especially the ex or v6. Oh and the v6 is incredibly fast too.the primera is a toned down version of Infiniti g20 sold in north america.

sir, what about the constantly reported issue about the accord auto transmission

my senior bros wants to buy a car. it will be his first car. he is torn between Honda accord 2003 or Nissan Primera 2003. Both Auto... I think the primera is a cvt auto... he says he is in love with both cars but is confuse on which one to get. I gave him my suggestion but he wants professional advice as regards maintenance, cost of repairs, reliability, durability and reasonable rest of mind. pls give your sincere suggestion to us. please.

mixing dosage is written on the drug pack... if it is for preventive measure, one tea spoon is enough.

please sir, which is the best way to give drugs to broilers/layers birds:

1. give them medicated what for half a day, and then plain water for the other half. e.g i give them medicated water in the morning till evening, then clean water from evening till morning or the other way round.

2. give them medicated water ad-libitum for the entire course of the treatment. e.g medicated water non-stop for 5 days.


i use procedure #1, but i dont know whether it is right. PLEASE I NEED ADVICE thanks.

i don't give medicated water ad lib ... i only put medicine in their water in the morning... when the water finishes, i replace with clean water even if i am treating them for 2 or 3 days.

Ur birds are suffering from pox infection .... Pls give them pox-prolene + amoxycol. ..ASAP

Thanks Apexquest for your prompt response. Vaccination: given day 8 and 18 for Gumboro and day 13 and 22 for lasota. Method of vaccination: I use one quarter of water consumed in a day divided into all water drinkers and added the vaccine (required dose equal to the number of birds). Water is chlorine free and the drinkers not washed with any disinfectant a day prior to vaccination. I also use koksidex as Anti-cocci (contains Amprolium and Sulfaquinoxaline). Like I said b4, they all seem to do very well till towards the fourth week then there is an abrupt drop in their appetite, then shrinkage especially their feet getting dried up and often immobility or paralysis. No neck twisting which could be a sign of Newcastle disease. Will upload pictures asap. Treatment during this period was Amoxitin+Dramacine forte, also used typhoid care but symptoms persist with high mortality. However, I have been having some suggestions from other farmers like using Kenflox (Enrofloxacin), Attack (Herbal drug), Bowel flushing of the birds using Epsom salt, treating for typhoid before full blown symptoms appears as in my case, etc. Pls I need the gurus in the house to confirm above suggestions. Secondly, can a detailed weekly drug schedule be suggested especially one that will not only prevent a reoccurrence of the disease but also reduce the number of runts in the stock. Thanks in anticipation.

I suggest you try those suggestion given. And pls next time u want to start a new stock pls sufficiently disinfect the house with good disinfectant..

I can't even meet up with their feeding n u talking about supplement. .. Guy feed them well morning afternoon and evening with small quantity of vitalyte every 2 to 3 days, make u see result.

Just want to share my 8 weeks old Xmas birds with y'all ... They are really doing OK . Gave 3rd lasota yesterday. 2% mortality so far .. God has been faithful... .

Good day frds pls hv this challenge with me 5 wks boilers 190 . They are coughing most especially when eating hv always gIve them emberze forte every 3 dau all vaccine is observed .1st lasota 7 day, 1st gumboro 14 da),2nd lasota 21day, 2nd Gumboro 28 days. Hv lost 2 birds already. Their poo is green, some redish they lost appetite and later die all these is what I observed. Your birds are suffering from Chronic Respiratory Disease, CRD.. my advice is give them ' tylodox extra' it will help. You can mix it with keproceryl if u like.
But pls avoid practices that causes n increases crd, like pouring in your feed in ways that makes it dust cos they inhale it when they rush for it. Also change your litter quite often. Lastly make sure they are receiving more than enough breeze..

Hello house, pls I need the house to enlighten me on this problem. I've raised two sets of broilers (500 each) they seem to do very well but on reaching 4 weeks they start to shrink-having dried up legs, lose appetite and pass green stools and die in droves. Someone told me its typhoid and I have administered typhoid care and amoxitin but the problem persists. Pls note I've given them all required vaccines and biosecurity measures observed. pls help, what drugs should I give to prevent this occurrence. thanks

If you gave the required vaccines(usually, 2 lasota n 2 gumboro), u gave anti coccidiostat n good biosecurity, u shouldn't have problems. U even treated for typhoid, no improvements... Nâ wao ...
OK ....firstly, the symptoms are mostly that of NCD.
I suspect that your vaccination failed and the disease vectors resided n waited for your second batch..
Do mind telling us how u vaccinated??

Thirdly, I don't think you should get married just yet (15 months time). Why not wait till you establish yourself further?

Firstly I have revived my broiler poultry business so that the profit increases my income source. I Currently have 200 broiler birds being raised for this Xmas.

Secondly, my car has helped in alleviating a lot of stress like packing wood shavings to the farm, buy many bags of feed n other local runnings..

Thirdly I plan to fix my accommodation in 3 months time n discuss with my fiancee bout moving getting married further by a year.

My birds are 8 weeks today, they are on grower until November ending b4 finisher till Xmas.
Back to ur question.... You can start giving finisher from
now till Xmas or you can give grower for a few weeks before you bring in the finisher.
Mind you , if you are feeding grower, they MUST be fed very well.
The starter is OK at 4weeks ..u don't need to continue unless your budget is robust.

Pls give more specifics, what is the colour of their poops, how are their feathers?? If possible snap one and share with the house so that adequate advice can be given.
Meanwhile have you given them anti coccidiosis drug like embazyl? Have they received up to 3 lasotas n 2 gumboro since day 1??

At four weeks, your birds should have received 2 lasota and 2 gumboro vaccinations... Start giving them now...

You need to provide enough info of the situation to get advice...state the history of their medication so far.

Op...op... If only you knew .. .i had to apply for leave for the past one month just to seroiusly attend to my poultry birds. The profit i expect this christmas is more than 10 months salaries.
Who cares about scholarship?? Pls graduate and come join us in making money. By the way i have a B.agric in Animal science and i am proud of it.

Bro that high by any standard. I suggest you do a scan after using the carb. Cleaner, I suspect you maybe having a misfire on one or more of your cylinders. The scan will tell better.
If a misfire is detected, best case you change your plugs , air filter and hopeful that it solves the problem.
Else it is a deeper underlying problem manifesting, like faulty ignition coil pack or misaligned timing belt or blocked manifold.

Bottom line a scan is your best bet to pinpoint the problem.

No where to do a scan around my area, but I sincerely suspect misfire. Though the vibration has considerably reduced.car uses an Injection system not carburator....I will pour in injector cleaner, change the air filter and plugs and see if it clears. If not, I will have to do a scan at all cost.

Yes 15weeks is too long.The Reason is because the birds were raised for the Xmas festivities n I want to dominate my local market with big, matured Live broilers...u get?

You failed to mention the type, year and engine size of your car.

First what is your car rpm when idling with and without A/C?

However taking a rough guess ( assuming your car is drive by cable rather than wire) I will wager you need to first use a carb cleaner to clean your engine manifold and dust/replace your engine air filter and lastly adjust your idle control valve setting, if your idle rpm is low.

Its primera 2.0i, idling rpm is around 1200, with AC its about 800 then it becomes unstable. I will buy an injector cleaner n see what happens.
Pls, is 1200 rpm too low at idling??

U need more than a regular oil service but a tune-up and some diagnosis.

What is tune up? .... I plan to scan it soon... But before that, is there not something I should check.

I noticed that my car vibrates and jecks repeatedly when my AC is on. The engine seating and sound become irregular even when its idling. But when I turn off the AC everything normalises.
I abardoned using AC for several months because of this issue. I want to use my AC Abeg. Cos I pay put when I buy am....its a nissan primera 2.0i......pls help...
