Thalazole is a tablet Human being take just get it from a madicine shop open the mouth of each bird that still has pox and give them meanwhile anicillin is not for fowl pox except u mean ampicillin taken by human being if its anicillin read the indicatin its not for fowl pox , its for crd and coryza

I was worried when my birds contacted it then, but they recovered fully so much so that all the swellings and blackheads on their comb totally disappeared. I dont consider fowl pox a life threatening disease and it doesnt stop the birds from eating or being active.

Someone suggested squeezing bitterleaf and effirin (i dont know the english name) adding to their water and applying the spent leaves to the affected area and it worked.

If you are still administering the fowlpox drug, u can wait until u finish that b4 giving lasota. But i would advise that you suspend the fowlpox drug now to be able to administer the monthly lasota. Cheers

Cos if the once still affected. Are not many u can use thalazole on them 1 tablet in d morning 1 in the evening for each of the birds and in 3days u will see it dried up.

Ok... Since only a few ones still haven't completely dried up, I will give them the lasota next tomorrow . I use anicillin instead of thalazole, I hope it serves.

Its symptoms include black patches on the comb n wattle, but I don't know about swollen leg Oooo...
I have been treating with poxcid + gumbocine with some anicillin.

What u will do is on the due date for lasota don't treat the fowl pox , just administer. Ur lasota the next day u can continue with the pox treatment no probs

I have started treating them for like a week now...they are all eating very well....they don't look sick at all.

I put it to you that sorting wont work,Because animals by nature live be survival of the fittest so when you put all the big fat ones somewhare they will eventually beat up some till those ones become runtish like the ones you just took them away from ,
what will work is to increase feeding and feed at once in cone feeders that drop the feed in the trays as the birds perk at the feeders

What will happen is that when the big aggressive once finish eating and go and rest somewhere the weaker not so aggressive once can then go an feed

but if you feed them twice a day or 3ce the big ones will always be the ones eating all the food each time

what i do is to provide more than enough feeding troughs, so that at any point in time all of them virtually have the same access to feed.

Yes I do....the cost of a bird depend mostly on its size/weight..

Read manufacturers instructn. Most drugs I've come across will say adlib.

Giving birds drugs for days AdLib will result in over drugging your birds IMO.

Please house I need help my 12weeks old broiler chicken are dying daily I was advised to give them tiamdox mixed with viral mix which I did but it's like the drug did absolutely nothing to better their condition. It's almost Xmas and I've been raising these chicken since September now they are dying I'm so confused. So many of them are sleeping I've tried to separate the sick ones. Their poo is brownish I don't know what to do anymore. Please help me save my chicken

have you given them anti-coccidia like pantacox or embacyl forte ??

A blood stained stool is usually related to coccidiosis. Give them some pantacox or embacyl forte.. It will stop.

My birds are presently battling with pox. .
I have given them 'poxcid + amoxycol...
I know they will bounce back in few days...

In other news...
This is the period when we poultry farmers produce broiler chicken for Xmas n new year.. This thread has helped a lot of farmers, yet it won't make front page ..

At week 8 , I gave my birds the third lasota. I think urs is due for that also. Vaccinate all the unsick ones.
Don't stop the medications except a day to the lasota.

I find laughable the arguments advanced one way or the other for the two car makes, not least the distinction between a manual and auto/CVT Primera! OP, go for the better maintained car of the two options you have, and learn to understand its peculiarities.
