The flight make sense die. Lagos-dubai(6hrs+), Dubai-toronto(13hrs+). Dubai- toronto flight na him make sense pass cuz na the new boeing A300 Double Decker planes dem dey use for long distance flights. and transit hrs was just 2hrs. He no be like Turkish whay be 8hrs transit...

Thank God.... cold for here no be play play ooooo...come prepared oooo...abeg if u have gotten ur trv and u dey resume Jan, u beta dey come by Dec make u come find house, cuz most house agents are saying that by Jan there's going to be a mad rush and prices can go up as well... hotel cost for here oo, so its better if you start making accommodation arrangements before u comot for naija and u go just spend like 1-2 days for hotel while u get ur room furnished..

linus27: Good morning sorry for the inconveniences but it is urgent.i did my medics on 29 oct at asaju, i collected and submitted my international passport 30 oct and my result was sent 1 nov up till now there is no response from the cdhc i should have stormed cdch but i live in ondo state it is 6 hours journey to lagos please what should i do? but i am planning to storm next week but my fear is that will my trv be ready or will they still tell me to pay tuition and board? because i did not receive the instruction with my medics if i go to cdch wont they deny me of my trv? am scared please help me out the Last time i tracked my passport status this was the response<The requested documents are received on 01/11/2013, and had been resubmitted to the CVO for processing> i will be gladly waiting for your response

Bros if u really scared, then u wuld storm cdhc. I stormed there exactly 4weeks after my meds at CP and i was issued my TRV. Some dey come from PH storm cdhc ooo, no be ondo state u dey ni? abeg dey bus come anifowoshe come collect ur TRV jor and share ur good news here..

kclexa: Please this should act as a warning to all TRV awaities. If your visa is not ready before the semester resumption date, you are adviced to inform the school on time.

Most cases, you would be adviced to apply for deferment and possibly pay an equivalent application fee. Or your full tuition deposit will be refunded.

But if you don't inform the school on time, you stand to loose a sizely chunk of your tuition deposit.
Please no dulling, always read your terms and conditions abi na little prints.

O boy, 4kusd cuz he didnt inform the skool of visa delays... omo that skool shuld be probed and properly investigated abeg. Normally all skools in canada are all aware of the delay from their embassies worldwide, so you dont get your visa ontime doesnt mean they deny u 4kusd na, haba , no be small money ooo... like mine was automatically shifted to Jan since i couldnt meet up with sept intake as a result of cdhc delays. Just pondering sha..

A friend of mine was called on phone by cdhc. am not sure if they sent it in the email.

First did any further instructions come with ur meds? find that out first, the instructions will be clearly printed on a white paper and sent along with your passport to vfs( if u used vfs though)...

Well if ur sure it didnt come with further instructions, then just take ur time in raising the balance skool fees, cuz cdhc can still call atimes after meds that you should payup the tuition fees. And most importantly, be prayerful and trust God. All the best.

I just got a visa to travel for studies in an asain country but my problem is my passport is expiring by march 2014 so I'm thinking can I renew the passport in Nigeria before I leave because the distance to the nigerian embassy is kinda a problem for me since I will be going to a place where english is not the first language.
Anyone please reply.

Bro, well it depends on which Asian country u dey go oo. If its Malaysia or china, I would advice you renew it here cuz your passport must be at least 6 months valid before any permit can be issued on it, be student per business pass. You can renew the passport here, they will just stamp " cancelled without prejudice on it" dats all but it doesn't affect ur visa since you will be showing them both passports at Poe.

@ Jesunro, Bros at this point, cdhc cant do much until they have your medicals, pls keep on storming CP, they should definately know what happend to ur meds. The main reason why i stormed cdhs for my visa was cuz CP confirmed to me that my meds was ok and it has been sent to the embassy. Pls dont let them rest, this is definatelty taking longer than usual. hang urself for CP neck and they will know where the issue came from. But most importantly, as britiko said, pray, pray, pray cuz thats the most important solution right now. There's noting impossible for God to do. all the best bro, we go hear very good news very soon by God's grace......

Thanks britiko, but the surprising issue is that were his docs not verified before he was called for meds? cuz most denials are given before meds, and not after been called for meds. Abi now?

ChriGo: .......you should have asked the reasons for his denial....at least dem go write am for the denial paper....may be the guy has been called for an interview previously which he didnt perform well...or he has HIV/AIDS ....But bros u should have investigated....nobody here can know precisesly what happened except more details abt him is been shed.....

His meds came with further instructions for tuition and board, he had an SOA of 8m, his elder brother(same surname) was his sponsor, but the reason the VO gave was the normal reasons, Insufficient funds, not sure of coming back after studies, sponsor not credible.

Also less i forget, it was clearly pasted at cdhc that as from Nov 4th which is next week, visa and application enquiries will only be done only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Also i suprise wetin i see for cdhc today ooo. A guy got denied after been called for meds ooo. The shocking thing was that cdhc called him last week to bring a new start date and pay tuition which he did and brought last week.
