britiko: @jesunro- seriously @ dis point its all abt prayers. If according to nas jay dey don't want any email corresponce frm applicants in dat situation, then u send correspondences on ur knees through prayers.
By d special grace of God u will receive dat which u r expecting.
I remember discussing extensively with d doctor dat attended to me @ consultants practice about dier delays. His explanation was dat at most it takes 3-4 weeks for a normal scenario. And up to 2months or more if the applicant has any health condition he/she is managing. Dis delay is usually from paris but recently, d medics is been sent to London. But really, it beats my imagination how Asaju goes abt dier medics. Or peradventure dey also av rare cases of delay dat we aren't aware of. Or maybe dey don't even send diers to paris or London. Whatever be the case, its not beyond d power of prayers. I advise everyone in dis situation to pray more untill u finally get ur trv. Anxiety won't solve d problem. Try as much as possible to RELAX and believe u've received ur TRV. It is well IJN.

ChriGo: ....Its not true...what i noticed is that asaju's medics get to cdhc within one week....consultant practice takes 2-4weeks(normal scenerio)....i was told my medics has been sent to france so hopefully they work on it between now and friday.....TRV LOADING!!! ....

My own case is frustrating, I did my medicals for the canadian embassy on the 28th of August, 2013 at the consultant practice. I got a call from the consultant practice(dr Ojo) saying that Paris asked for a repeat chest X-ray after a week and 3 days. I did the repeat on the 9th of September, 2013 and up until now, the embassy still claims not to have gotten the report from Paris. The embassy has even sent a reminder which Paris has responded to saying they have seen the medicals and are working on it...please what exactly are they working on and it is taking too long...my school deadline for fall session has elapsed, the school gave me till 27th sept. is there anyone in my kind of situation? Abeg is there anyone in a similar situation

I booked turkey air earlier and was excited for a good deal until I went to wakanow (agents I booked with) and they said I canr reavel with them cos I have a students visa and I can only fly them if I have a return saying some inaudible words

So my questions are
1- has anyone here gone on a virgin passport (virgin to schengen and North america) through Turkish airline
2 - which airline is least expensive without the hassles of transit visa.
I've heard of emirates, Egyptair, KLM( too expensive), British airways.

Will appreciate the advise.

Hello peeps, i hear lots of gudnews in de house. Pls for those preparin to cum ova on winter, do make sure u hav enof mony for accomd n feeding n try to kary enof foodstuffs with u. Finally buy some winter cloths hia in nija cos is cheaper dan ova hia. Dollar n naira nobi mate so be prudent in terms of spending. Wish u all d best n c u in canny soon

ChriGo: ....dont know about the school indepth but the school is part of the cdhc approved institution....if they offer u a better package interms of course and cost then u can go for it....please whats the duration of the course u're going for? Cuz a friend of mine found a course in that durham but na 8months duration course....just like 2chainz said in his previous post, he warned agains 8months course....he said 8months course isn't one year course so my man check am well....

He told dem abt his blood condition.
He was den instructed by d phyisician to get a detailed report from his heamatologist.
Dis comprises of ow he was faring with his condition, his stable blood percent(pcv), ow often he goes into crisis,his routine drugs,and ow often he needs to be transfused.
And dat was all.
As per his survival during winter, thermal clothing plenty o.
And above all, God is always faithful.

I just want to say that whether online or paper, take your application seriously. Include as many documents as you can. I have seen online denials for what can be considered very good applications same way I have seen approvals for some 'one kind' applications. There are so many variables considered by the VOs.

Example- My colleague's sponsor had 2.8 and he had 800k. No landed property. He applied via paper in june 13 and he is in canada as I speak. Apparently his supervisors included a letter for the application and emailed the cic in addition. A friend with a higher SOA, landed property plus job and family was recently denied online route. He said he spoke to an immigration lawyer in canada who advised him to take the paper route and write a details letter almost like an appeal and include documents and pictures.
No one can truly say what the VOs are looking for.


Well the truth is that so far what have been following on this trend, we really don't know what the VO's need and how they make their decisions. Some submitted May21st and still havnt been called for Meds, while some submitted May 30th and have already received Meds. That doesn't mean denial, it might just mean that maybe some of their submitted docs needs further verifications and the people in charge hasn't gotten back to the embassy as we all know as our country be now. But come to think of it, am not really sure about this but what I know is that some of the docs we submit to cdhc is only valid for 3months such as the SOA, Police Claerance and that means after 3months its stale. the root of the matter is just submit all necessary docs u can and believe say na Baba GOD get power pass and leave the rest to him. Simple. Wether online aby paper route oooo..
So far the main and clear advantage of online is that you know where you stand early and can plan your life accordingly instead of waiting 4 months.

kayconsult: if ur going for a pg program, u don't hav a probs,u will be given a post study of the duration of ur program. If post grad cert holders don't get post study or jobs upon graduation, why do some employer of labour request for them.

ChriGo: ....I don ask am that before ooo and he is yet to reply.....sometimes cdhc act funny...u should know them by now....were u not the one scared of interview and was asking question about boarding?....cdhc mite also act funny by calling u for interview oo ....i hope u're more scared now .....yes i did it.......

My application was submitted to the embassy since June 5th, only to be informed by my agent 0n 20th Sep that I was asked to get a new start date , accommodation , tuition moreover i have paid my full yr tuition fees $13,200 for my one yr post graduate program. I need someone to help because i wonder why they should demand for my accomodation when i have not been called for medical. KUDOS to my friend CHINWANEDU my fellow Lambton brother /friend that had been called for Medical .
