Funny thing is that Russia is still not a big brother to Iran but rather a big brother to Israel.

Iran is just a strategic partner.
Israel under netanyahu has become something else.
No respect to international law, boastfulness that has never been seen before, just because they have the west in their pockets they think they can misbehave.
I pity those that think God support Israel and doesn't support Iran grin grin
Even in the holy bible, when God was fighting physically for them, he allows their enemy to defeat them in battles, when they go against his will, and that was the era where they were known as the children of God and their enemy where not of God.

By the way, those living in the nation Israel today, don't call themselves Israelites but rather isrealis.
Which are two different people entirely.
The bible make me understand that Israelites are the children of God. i.e: those who served and believed in God.
This name was later modernized as Christians according to the bible.
This name took away the context of demographic and geographical discrimination. No more Jews, no more gentiles, now they're believers and unbelievers.
Once you convert and decide to serve God, you become a Christian which is known is Israelites of old.

Succinctly put.

This is disappointing. Ukraine had no chance against Russia when USA/NATO was actively supporting the war against Russia. Now that the war fatigue has set in and USA military attention has shifted away from them to the Middle East, Ukraine should borrow sense and take what little semblance of victory they can get. Pulling out of this Turkey-brokered deal is senseless.

USA cannot keep signing blank cheque to them forever and Russia may never trust them again for any future peace deal to stop the ongoing war.

Well, you just earned yourself a place on the SBU's war spnsorers hit list. cool

⚡Zelensky calls on Western countries to protect Ukraine the same way they protected Israel during the recent Iranian missile attack.

“By defending Israel, the free world has demonstrated that this kind of unity is not only possible, but completely effective. The decisive actions of the allies prevented the success of terror and the loss of infrastructure and forced the aggressor to cool down. The same is possible in protecting Ukraine from terror, which, like Israel, is not a NATO member. And this does not require activation of Article 5, only political will is enough.”

Nuclear weapon or not.
No country can conventionally fight with the Russians.

The west are scared of fighting the Russians because their forefathers did and failed miserably.

On the other hand Russia is scared of going to war with the west, because the forefathers of the west tried and failed several times but caused them alot.
But this era is different, Russia now has nukes which is an added level of doom if the west try nonsense.
If Russia decide to strike NATO's delivery route in Poland where weapons come to Ukraine, I swear the west won't do shit.

30+ countries fighting with just one country yet they're scared of coming out directly.

Russia don't like war, bit they don't fear it. And when they start one, they finish it.

As it stands, the u.s is doing everything she can to stop her lapdog from causing any trouble in that region.

Some gullible folks where saying that this was a trap set by the u.s to fight Iran and I laughed.

Geopolitics is not for everyone to be sincere.

You are so right.

Many people reason out of pure emotions and religious affiliations. This is geopolitics, not some domestic tribal or religious war. cool

Anyone that says Iran fell into Israeli and American plan to drag them out for a full-scale war is myopic.

Most people don't even know how weak the US has become in the Middle East. You only have to look at how majority of the key state players in the region aided and abetted Russia the moment western sanctions flies in. Qatar refused the attempt to get it to fill the gap left by Russia in the oil and gas supply to Europe, and to the ire of the US and the EU, Saudi Arabia even went ahead to buy Russian oil and reselling them at hire prices. The US waning influence was even more underscored when China got Iran and Saudi Arabia to restart diplomatic and bilateral relations.

What many people here don't know is that, Israel will not survive a full fledged regional war with Iran on the driving seat. If it was easy to attack, invade and destroy Iran, they could have done it many years ago. Each time they gamed the scenario, it turned out to be a disaster. The casualties level for the US and Israel was unimaginable.

And the Saturday's retaliatory attack by Iran has further underscored what real geopolitical minds like us have known for a long time. Let me explain.

Last Saturday, Iran proved that it can slice through what many described as the most densest air defense coverage in the world, penetrating all Israeli and NATO manned missile Shields. This included capabilities that formed the benchmark of the whole Western alliance; from advanced SIGINT to C4ISR to Patriot, THAAD, Iron Dome, C- Dome, David’s Sling, and Arrow-3, and SM-3, plus the involvement of the West’s most advanced A2A defenses flown from F-35s, Typhoons, Eurofighters, and sea-based Allen Burke Class missile destroyers and more.

The fact that much of that Iranian volley included slow moving missiles and drones (except for the few ballistic missiles), yet managed to penetrate Israel's defences, especially with the spectacular view of missiles flying over the Knesset, is a rude awakening to war-happy Netanyahoo and his genocide war department that Iran isn't a bluff like they think. It gets even scary for them when you realise that, that is just a tip of what Iran has in it's arsenals. And that they can do real big damage if they wanted to.

So, it's in the best interest of America to rein in Israel before they get into a brouhaha they will live to regret for a very long time.

And to those shallow mind pygmies on this thread who delusionally envisioned a situation where God will send angels on chariots of fire to fight on behalf of Israel, well, I'm sorry to disappoint you, the God I know is not unrighteous to defend murderers who intentionally target and destroy civilian buildings, bombed hospitals, bomb aid workers sent on redcross vehicles to rescue the wounded civilians. Continue waiting and hoping that, by blindly supporting Israel in its atrocities God would bless and grant you visa to heaven. cool

You're hellbound. cool

Also, you don't think it's smart to have evidence when you make the kind of claims you make? If you say that my words are propaganda and assumptions and you have no evidence to back your statement, don't you see that you are only making an assumption while accusing me of doing same?

You call me a coward for siding with Israel. I guess you see anyone that doesn't agree with you as a coward. You are always right and your opinions should never be challenged.

If you are Israel, will you attack the embassy of a nation that sponsored the greatest terror attack on your soil?
Israel even has more support against Iran than in their war with Gaza. Even many Arab nations are with Israel on this.
It would be completely unwise for Israel to follow your advice and wait for Iran's next action before hitting more Iranian targets.

Who then bombed the embassy? You?

You've made a very interesting point, the UN does not represent the current geopolitical landscape. Nations are supposed to be equal, while give more power to certain five Nations ( UN security council ). If the UN is to be restructured the veto power needs to be jettisoned, what's the point of voting on a motion if a fee minorities could veto the whole process.

Secondly, i think the African continent is more divided compared to the Asians. Imagine having 54 countries and no sit in the UN security council.

The African division was more on their colonial heritage and geopolitical leaning. That is, the British and French camps. However, recent happenings has shown that Africans can actually breakaway from this mentality, as seen with the ongoing rebellion against French interest in the continent. Moreover, the African contingent can make their proposal under the auspices of the AU to present a unified stance. It is disheartening that despite having such a huge representative at the UN, not s dongle African nation is among the Security Councli permanent members.

One thing is very visible. The UN is not effective to it's duties.
So many wars going on around the world and the seem lost and don't have a solution to it.
It is high time it is scrapped
The security council setting is what is killing the UN. It's time they restructure the whole thing. Final decisions on important matters should be taken by simple majority vote in the General Assembly, and the implementation by way of order be sent to the restructured security council for implementation.

I want to see a situation where if they failed to restructure the UN, the entire African contingent should withdraw from the body and form a new organization with nations from South America, and Asia, and the Middle East.

Africa alone has 54 nations. A threatened or actual withdrawal would effectively make the UN irrelevant to other nations.

Imagine Russia attacking the UK embassy in Poland because the UK has been helping Ukraine.
Going to Poland is even too far. Even in Ukraine, it would be a declaration of war. Nations like the US and many others keep military personnel in their embassies. Especially in hotspot locations. It's part of a nation's sovereign right to do with its territories, and it's one of the unwritten rules that you don't touch the embassy of another nation, not even in the host country by the host government. Netanyahu just think he can do anything and get away with it. Well, he was been warned.

Iran released footage of missile launches towards Israel

Estimated military cost of last night's operations based on the figures published in the media:

110 ballistic missiles: 30-50 million dollars

45 cruise missiles: 4-7 million dollars

170 Shahed-136: 4-5 million dollars

Total: 62-38 million dollars

The collective USA,UK and Israel spent over 2 billion dollars defending Israel

In just one night. You see why the MIC is the most profitable business in the entire history of man. Hence, so long as there are men, there would be wars.

For years Russia has acted blind to the u.s misbehavior around the world but thank God the u.s mistakenly woke up the bear in Ukraine.

Russia is ready, and I'm not joking.

The US as it is now does not have the stomach to fight Iran in a direct hot war, let alone a regional one. The numbers of US casualties alone would make Vietnam looks like child's play.

US think-tanks have gamed this scenario many times and the result turns out to be very pathetic. It's Israel that is just needlessly dragging in the US into trouble.

You've been advised to obtain a basic education before mouthing off on geopolitical realities you have no understanding of nor frankly the mental bandwidth for. This is not the Ukrainian army that builds fortifications in residential areas and mines apartment blocks.

Iran's retaliation was not to escalate but to put the Zionist regime on notice that Iran will not shy away from direct conflict if Israel keeps provoking it. It not only activated the Muslim population of the middle east but also drew a contrast between Iran's support for Gaza and the capitulation of the other rulers of the other middle east countries to Israel.

The full geopolitical implication of this is yet unclear but already in an election year in which I'd be proudly voting for Republican for the first time gas prices are about to go through the roof if the middle east becomes an even bigger conflagration, oil prices shoot up Biden loses.

For the sake of your sanity, ignore that man.

Iran has attacked Israel o. Though they will now shift goal post by saying

During a Phone Call tonight by U.S. President Biden with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, Biden reportedly said that Israel should consider tonight’s Iranian Attack as Largely Unsuccessful and a “Win” due to nothing of Value appearing to have been Lost and it being a Clear Demonstration of Israel’s Superior Military Capability.
Also during the Call, President Biden is reported to have said that the United States would not Participate in any Offensive Action against Iran.

Well, I don’t believe any USA president.

Waiting for Trump, republican senators and representatives to talk this morning how Biden and Democrats are too weak to rule USA and Iran dare not try it if Republican person was the president.

This is Cinema

I told you this before, US have no stomach for a large scale war right now. So, they're trying to deescalate quickly. If another retaliation from Israel happens, Iran would most likely close the Straight of Hormuz and things would really get bad from there economically. It's in the best interest for both Israel and US to end this right now.
